I wanted to catch her off guard the infamous Ms. Thornton. My uncle always talked about her in the highest respect but he always made her sound like a fairy tale creature, something that wasn’t quite real or just basically a dream. I had convinced him to sell me his shares and he finally agreed today to do it so naturally I wanted to meet her immediately to see what the fuss was about especially since you couldn’t obtain her picture anywhere.
When I got to her office I went to talk to her assistant a petite woman with blonde hair full lips and a thin figure she was a very pretty woman to say the least. I told her who I was and that I wanted to see Ms. Thornton she gave me a wide smile showing her perfect teeth and asked me to take a seat, a few minutes ticked by before she told me I could go in. I walked up to the door behind her she knocked after a few seconds there was a “come in” that answered the knock and the assistant opened the door and announced who I was “Ms. Thornton this is Mr.Blake, Mr. Whitings nephew he’s buying the shares.” I wasn’t really listening to her because I was to fascinated with the woman sitting in the chair behind the desk she had risen from it upon hearing my name and came to shake my hand. She was incredible she had long waist lenght black hair a slender oval face almond hazel eyes, she was curvy and slender her green blouse hugged her perfect cleavage and her black straight leg pants did the same for her bottom she had full pink lips she was also petite but her green heels made her look taller. I was in a daze I see why the few people that did see her described her as a fairytale she was one.
She held her hand out to me and I took it “ Mr.Blake welcome to rising Luna software.,

I was at a loss for words she was that gorgeous that I had forgotten what I came to say.
I cleared my throat “ Mmhmm, I’m sorry I just came to introduce myself I wanted you and I to be acquainted since I’ll be the holder of the second largest share after you of course.”
“Correct me if I’m wrong but your uncle isn’t the second largest shareholder, is he?” She looked at me quizzically “No you are correct Mr. Manning is also selling me his shares he just agreed to it today, I’m sure he’ll be notifying you shortly about it.” I gave her a bright smile to try to ease her mind she thought for a moment and then returned my smile it was perfect.
A short knock came from the door before she answered in stepped Mr.Manning
“Oh Blake you’re already here,have you told her?
“Yes I have just now she hasn’t had a chance to say anything yet.”
I watched the corners of her lips turn up but the smile never reached her eyes, “Mr.Manning I’m sorry to hear you’ll be leaving us along with Mr.Whiting.”
“Oh Izzy I’ll always be around but my wife is pressuring me to retire and I think she’s right, but call me if you need advice in the future.”
“Of course I will, after all I wouldn’t have this without you.” She gestured with her hands around her office “ So since you are the second largest shareholder and your selling it to Blake am I to understand that he’s the largest holder know?”
“Oh no Izzy I wouldn’t do that to you I gave him half and I’m gifting the other half to you so you will be equal partners in this now.”
We both looked at each other with surprise I was honestly amused I hadn’t had a partner in anything for a long time.
“Let’s just say I thought you both would like the competition of being Rivals.” And with that he gave her a hug and a kiss shook my hand and left.
As I stood there watching her for a moment she had a sad bitter sweet smile on her face her eyes glistening with unshed tears she shook her head and patted her cheeks and turned to walk back to her desk. For some reason I had this longing feeling to hug her and tell her it would be ok I’m not that bad, but instead I put my hands in the pockets of my suit and sat on the couch in her office waiting.
Waiting to see what she would say do? Waiting to see what this magnificent creature would bring to my life.
