FEELING WRONG Aline and Curry exchanged gazes and then smiled. Curry couldn't help but have dinner in her heart. "So she did sleep with someone after all." Serene stared at the furious Liam. Smoke was literally coming out of his nostrils. She bit her lips, not knowing what to say, and could only take the insults. The neighbors came after hearing the commotion, only to witness the marks on Serene's body. Some decided to inquire about what happened when Aline loudly put on a show after seeing the curious gaze of the neighbors. "Serene, why did you have to do this? It's not like both, and dad doesn't care about you. You even stole my clothes and shoes for such a dirty purpose. I'm really disappointed." She dramatizes being disappointed. After hearing Aline's word, the people began looking at Serene with a different gaze. "So she isn't as innocent as she seems." "I can't believe I thought of her as an innocent girl, not knowing she's a slut." "Who would have known that Marie gave birth to a slut?" The people discussed amongst themselves; hearing such insultive words, Serene's face turned pale. Knowing nobody was going to speak up for her, she finally said, "I did not do anything wrong." Her words made people even more disgusted with her. Curry rolled her eyes and then took Serene inside with a fake and insincere heart. After getting inside, Serene went to the bathroom to take her bath. While Karl was showering, she cried, but her voice was audible. "Mom, why did you have to leave me alone?" "Now... I'm all alone, and everyone hates me now." Her tiny voice broke; anyone who heard her cry would surely join her in crying. She was so pitiful. After showering, she came out with her eyes red and her green eyes lost. She wore her oversized hoodie. The family of three was seated in the sitting room, waiting for Serene. "Just send it already. What are you waiting for?" Liam glared at Curry; his gaze was filled with resentment at seeing Serene with a little guilt. Why did he feel guilty? He did nothing wrong. He told himself this in an attempt to get rid of his guilt. Curry, seeing her husband was still hesitating, bebelled the cat, "Serene, you are leaving this house, not after the stunned you pulled earlier." She said guiltlessly,Aline secretly gave her mom a thumbs up for her smooth act earlier and now. Seeing that Serene was not answering, she got annoyed and threw the remote control at her. "Answer me, are you mute!?" "Mom, it seems like you forgot that our little innocent is actually mute." Liam saw the blood gush out of Serene's forehead and felt even more guilty. He cleared his throat and sipped a little water for his dried throat. He raised his voice to show that he was angry. His resentment and anger overshadowed his guilt. "You're leaving this house today! I can't take anymore of your nonsense.". Curry felt happy when she saw her husband racing the way he should. She signaled Aline, who nodded and went to the basement to retrieve Serene's clothes. Nobody knew what the mute Serene was thinking: "Mom, I'm sorry,I couldn't care for myself." Her hair gave off a faint glow, leaving Curry and Liam startled. Liam cussed at her, "You like witches; you are just like your mom; that woman would murmur about weird creatures and things about guardians in her sleep." Aline came back with Serene's luggage. She looked at Serene, who was surprisingly calm, like she wasn't affected at all. "Tsk, she's just putting on a font." ... Serene left the house feeling torn. She weeped bitterly at night, and while still crying, her golden hair started glowing under the moonlight. She looked up and saw it was a full moon. Feeling dazed, she closed her eyes and eventually fell asleep in the streets. Meanwhile, in the supernatural realm, the vampire king, Atticus, held a warrior's neck tightly, his eyes red, and his sharp fangs were out. "How can you let her leave?" "You all are so incompetent! Just a single job, DM, you couldn't do it!' He threw the warrior across the road; the rest kept their heads down, afraid of adding to the anger. He punched the wall repeatedly, and the wall became bloody. He was so angry that he beat up the people who were on guard last night. After leaving the room,Rem swallowed a mouth full of saliva and asked Lim, "Who exactly is the king looking for?" Lim pushed his glasses up with his middle finger, "the guardian." "The guardian...wait like those frail creatures?" "What would he use her for?" Je asked. Lim looked at the clueless Rem. "To strengthen himself, of course, they said the blood of a guardian is necessary to win the war against the devils and also gives the person who consumes their blood strength, like a boost to the person's actual strength," he explained, hoping that Rem could understand. Rem looked at him with a question mark in his head, and Lim walked away directly, leaving others. Rem scratched his head and chased after Lim. "Now I have even more questions,Lim !" .... Serene woke up to find herself in a small apartment. She became alert. The aroma from the kitchen filled the room, and her stomach grumbled greedily. Karin came out of the kitchen and brought the goods to Serene. She was shocked to see Karin. "I saw you on the ground in the streets. How could you be so reckless? What if someone else met you before I did?" She scolded Serene like an elder sister would, but seeing Serene eating her food cutely, her anger died down. "Thank you, Karin, she said after eating, leaving Karin stunned. She got really excited after hearing her call her name. Serene stayed at Karin's house for two months; she rarely stepped outside the house. Karin would go to work and back to find Serene sleeping. She got a little suspicious, and her thoughts were confirmed when Serene threw up after tasting vinegar. She patted Serene's back, her eyes a little deeper than usual. Karin contemplated breaking the news to Serene, knowing that she may not accept it. Serene looked at Karin and then tapped her, looking at her intensely. Her eyes were asking what's wrong. Karin adjusted her mindset, cleared her throat, and sighed, "Serene,I think you're pregnant." She carefully examined Serene's reaction. Although she did not attend high school, she knew what it meant to be pregnant. Tears welled up her eyes, and she started crying. Karin's heart broke at such sight. She hugged Serene and let her use her shoulders. After sobbing, Serene made up her mind not to abort the baby; although it was a mistake, she needed someone to call her own. Karin smiled when she saw Serene's determined gaze. Karin talked to someone on the phone before hanging up. "Serene, I'm taking you to my grandmother's place, the one I told you about." Serene nodded her head, as long as she was safe and free from all those creatures there. .... Karin helped her dress up and then took her luggage and boarded a cab. The cab took them to a small neighborhood. Granny Grâce fell in love with Serene; she treated her to homemade cookies. Serene, after sensing that Granny Grace was a good person, decided to speak to her. "Thank you, Gran." Grace was so pleased to hear her say granny. Karin recounted Serene's story to Grace, who was moved to tears. Granny promised to stay with Serene and take care of her and her child. Grace was very fond of Serene. Somewhere,a man made a call to a number: "Boss, I've found her." He hung up after the person on the other side of the phone gave a word of affirmation.
