Destiny Voyage- Finally In! 5.0
“Well too bad- maybe that would be the ride I wouldn’t puke horribly.” Raiden uttered and rolled his eyes playfully. Sora snorted and shrugged “Who knows- well at least you could ride it with your trusted sword.” She replied, adding. ”Nobody sane would ride with you with that sword attached to your back Raiden.”
Sora snorted a bit and looked at Robin with a sheepish smile as the male simply continued to fix her hair albeit silently. He hated being cut off that was certain.
Raiden’s cheeks flush slightly pink until Haichi spoke up. “Hey guys are we going to grab something to eat or what?” he salivated at the thought of corn and cotton candy. “Last one there needs to pa-"SWOOSH! Sora was already off the food court despite having no idea where exactly it was. Haichi couldn’t help but sweat-drop.
Cosette and Robin laughed a bit while Raiden simply shook his head in dismay. The woman certainly didn’t want to spend a single amount of money.“H-heeey! That’s no fair!” Haichi piped out as Sora merely laughed off. “Nothing is faaair in the wooor-“she said until she collided with a body and fell on her butt.
“Oof.” She groaned slightly and looked up to see velvet red eyes that looked at her playfully. “Indeed nothing is fair when there are people like you who appear to be the fairest being alive. ”Roswell mused softly albeit chuckling as he kneeled down on a single knee- extending his hand.
Cosette could have never been any more stunned when the William youth told that- like a microphone had been dropped in her mid-debut. Sora’s cheeks flushed at his words and she looked away in embarrassment. “Surely you jest too much Roswell-sama.”She murmured and took his hand out of respect. He pulled her up, their faces barely away from each other.
“Why mademoiselle I speak of only truth.” He whispered, Sora nearly taken away by how his breath felt and how his words manage to make her heart skip a beat. Roswell’s breath was not the expected sweet frosty scent or whiff of pastries and a mild hint of earl grey tea- it was too different. His breath was cool and refreshing like a wind blowing comfortingly on a peppermint.
“U-uh. . .”Sora seemed to be in a state of stupor until a hand grabbed her and pulled her away a safe distance. “You seriously don’t watch where you’re going idiot.”Raiden grumbled at her, eyes narrowed slightly at her before bowing his head politely. “My apologies Lord Roswell, this team mate of mine is out of sorts as she came from the merchant village.”
Roswell merely laughed melodically, albeit a tinge of sheepishness. “You do not have to call me with the utmost respect. I know you were part in saving my brother- for that reason I urge you again, please call me Roswell.” He smiled at Raiden gently. The orange-haired man’s cheek blushed slightly in pink until Sora coughed. “Ah and yes- I’ve known Sora already. I don’t mind crossing paths with her.”
Robin was too much in a state of shock of seeing his brother so it was Raiden who managed to pull the woman away before anything ensued. He scowled slightly to himself and approached them. “What are you doing here?” he asked his brother a bit too rudely. Roswell placed a hand on his heart, “Why my dearest brother you ask? It is because you have taken my carriage yes?”
Robin’s face reddened but he huffed. “Well so what if I did? You could just call another one.” He muttered and crossed his arms. Roswell simply shook his head, “That cannot be- you have my favourite horse you see?” the young man swayed around holding his face as if beholden by the imagination of his beautiful white horse whose mane flowed gloriously due to constant brushing.
“Yes I simply cannot take the idea that Snowflake has to be ridden by the likes of you.” Roswell said in anguish while Robin seemed nearly on the verge of smacking his brother but was being held back by Sora as she grabbed his arm. “That’s a nice name for a horse- Snowflake huh? Well you can take the carriage. We can get a ride back home to the Capital.” she smiled pleasantly.
“Oh-oh! That simply cannot be as well my dear cherished friend. I shall accompany you on this endeavour of yours with my sweet little brother.” Roswell smiled back at her, more pleasant and bubbly than ever. Cosette could hardly hold back her puking sounds and pretended to choke on dandelion seeds. The other two male sweat-dropped knowing that it won’t end nicely.
“We don’t need you here.” Robin spat at the male- clearly he didn’t want to get compared or bare his brother’s presence. “Well I want to be here- I hope nobody minds my presence here right?” Roswell glanced at three teammates. “Actually-“ Cosette started to speak up while Raiden glanced at her in concern.
“We’d love for such a handsome person like yourself to join us Roswell-sama~” the blonde girl cheerfully said as both Raiden and Sora sighed in relief,Robin’s mouth dropped at such honey-sucking, while Haichi looked as if he had been stabbed in the heart as he gasped in horror. “See? Now let us go to where Miss Viola awaits us.”Roswell remarked.
“Hold up. I beg your pardon- the guild master is here?” Raiden queried in surprise. “Ah yes she graciously let me borrow her carriage and drove us here- isn’t she simply the best?” Roswell gave them a closed-eye smile. Raiden and the rest of the team sweat-dropped, their Guild Master was never that accommodating to any of them.
Haichi pouted, such bias for those who seemed to be in the upper ups no? It was so unfair ( Rose: That’s why we call it bias -_-) They walked to the food court to see the violet-haired woman simply eating her meal while several men gawked at her. It was no doubt that their Master was a beauty- her lustrous long locks that made even Cosette feel inferior bounced in the air.
Her face barely showed any age except for a few lines and her body was comparable to those of a younger stature. Her chest was humongous to say the least- Raiden assumed it was D++ while Haichi contradicted and said it was larger as he had seen bandages before and assumed it was binders. (Sora: Ugh a bunch of perverts Robin: Boys will be boys Roswell:*smiles* Robin: except him)
“Hey there you midgets- eat up! It’s good to build muscles on those thin bodies of yours.” Miss Viola remarked that even Raiden gaped. He wasn’t thin or muscular- he often saw himself at tiptop shape. Now this woman was saying he was too thin? Raiden launched himself at the table and hastily started eating.
Munch here. Bite here. Slurp there. Mmmm. . . . these tasted really good! Better than any five star restaurant that Haichi and Cosette always forced him to eat at. Perhaps they could start eating here and they would be able to save a lot of money at food expense. (Sora: Why do you even let them choose?! I’d rather be eating food scraps if I were them)
Sora was also enjoying her sweet sugary meal. She was biting into a cob of corn doused in extremely buttery goodness and slurping some of her too-much-food-colouring shake that tasted ultra-sweet as it was doused in extra syrup as she requested. Same could be said happening to Robin but in a more gentlemanly manner as he ate.
Roswell seemed to be very happy getting tiny munches of everything since they were usually forbidden to partake in “commoner’s food or street food”. “Hmm if they used more natural food colouring then even the elite would love this sugary shake.” he said to them as he then bit into his heart-shaped cotton candy. “This is simply scrumptious!”
On the other hand, both Cosette and even surprisingly Haichi seemed to not be into it. Haichi agreed with Roswell that more natural and less chemically produced ingredients could be placed- it made his appetite fade away. Cosette wouldn’t stand for unsafe and mediocre ingredients. The butter was all too fatty and melted now. Cotton candies led to cavities and so on and so forth.
They smiled hesitantly and gently shoved their food to Raiden’s awaiting hands. “I’m a little full right now.” Cosette said while Haichi laughed a bit. “I’m going to have dinner with my old folks- can’t ruin my appetite can I?” he said to them while the others simply shrugged and devoured their food.
Both of them sighed in relief.
“Hey you know what we all should do after snacking?” Miss Viola grinned as her eyes glinted dangerously that Raiden choked on a corn cob. “Uh go home?” Robin asked “innocently” for he wanted Roswell out of the picture immediately along with Sora’s team mates and this old woman. ( Miss Viola: EXCUSE me *cracks knuckles* )
“No you party pooper.” Laughed Miss Viola and grinned at them that made everyone but Roswell nervous. “Let us all head over to the gaming area. I heard there are lot of prizes to be won!” she smiled happily with her hands clasped together and hearts seemingly popping out of nowhere and begun floating around her.
“That sounds like a terrific idea! I have not been able to explore this commoner’s area and would like to learn more of this place.” Roswell immediately agreed to their dismay- “terrific” now really seemed terrifying to all of them. Ugh this bothered Raiden and Robin more than any of the other people present.
Robin wished to not have his “always better than you” (Rose: Gosh! Who said such a thing like that to this ball of furry goodness?! *pinching Robin’s cheeks* Everyone else:*sweat-drops*) brother around for them to get compared. It was so restrictive to be around his flesh and blood- reasons why he wanted to get away from them in the first place.
“Well then shall we go?”Miss Viola asked while standing up. Boing-boing. The sounds gaining stares from male onlookers at the luscious woman while Cosette huffed silently and stood up, having also a reasonably sized chest area she gained enough stares and even more as she was a younger specimen than Viola. Haichi gawked at them while Sora and Raiden were too busy on their munchies.
“Get up Sora- we’re playing.” Robin told Sora and grabbed her arm, finally relenting. He just wanted this to be over with. The young woman wiped her mouth with a napkin and stood up. The males looked at her, expecting something nice but was met with a relatively flat board. Robin’s eyes narrowed on the males and they all looked away, returning to their own business.
“Okay, okay let’s go win some prizes- I’m feeling lucky!” she grinned at them, a smear of butter from the corn cob still on the corner of her lips. “Uh got a little something near your lips Sora-chan.” Haichi told her with an innocent closed eye smile. Robin immediately went in front of her before Raiden could have rushed out of his seat with a napkin on hand.
He chuckled, his voice ever so deep, smooth and suave. “Why Hisa-chan, always so messy are you not?” he teased and leaned down close to her face, grabbing her chin ever so gently with his fingers. “I can’t always be here to clean you up, you know?” he told her, his thumb barely brushing her soft lips. He leaned down and gently and slowly licked off the butter from the edge of her lips, his warm breath tickling her skin.
Several women around them gaped at the male, jealous males looking on enviously at the male gaining their date’s attention. He pulled away, effortlessly giving Sora a goofy grin as she bonked his head playfully. “Gee Robin, you’re not a little kitty anymore.”Sora snorted at him, wiping the corner of her mouth albeit a noticeable reddening of her face. Raiden couldn’t help but snicker, somewhat annoyed that his Sor- teammate was fine with such lewd actions.
“Uhhhh Sora dear . . . not in public.” Cosette told the younger woman in an effort to be modest; however she was also enthralled by Robin’s actions. Miss Viola sweat-dropped, now understanding why the mission was a complete success, Roswell simply rolled his eyes at the attention they were gaining. “Yo-hooo, aren’t we all gonna play or what?” Haichi pouted, the people unsure if he was excited to play or jealous of the attention Robin got.
“If none of you are heading to play, I’ll go ahead.” The orange-haired warrior muttered, getting out of his bench then grabbing his trusted sword and swung his sword on its holder behind his back. Some of the women looked at him in awestruck, his toned body gaining stares to his own chagrin. He walked towards the gaming area.
Sora’s eyes widened, unsure of the cause behind his sudden sour attitude but still figured it was mediocre and easily taken care off. She quickly pulled out of Robin’s grasp and leapt after Raiden. “Hey Raiden- impatient one aren’t you?”she giggled, her hands clasped behind her back as she walked beside him with a small but sweet, closed eye smile.
The male, looked straight ahead but gave a sideway glance at the young brunette who was smiling ever too much. He sighed, looking away- a small pout forming unknowingly on his lips. “Hey you should head back to Robin- he’s gonna get jealous you know?” he muttered dully. A question mark seemed to pop out of Sora’s head. “Eeeh? He might get protective but why would he be jealous. He’s like a brother.” she smiled to his surprise.
‘W-what?’ he looked at her somewhat stunned. “Huh?” he merely said in bewilderment. “Besides. . .” she grinned deviously and he quirked a brow. “What?”he intoned in a monotone but a small smile couldn’t help but form in his lips at seeing her so happy. It made his heart beat somewhat fast; he quickly labelled it as happiness for his teammate’s happiness.
“You’re my lucky charm!” she grinned at him with thumbs up and winked at him playfully. Raiden snorted, rolling his eyes and patting her head to which she pouted. “Well I’ll try to satisfy that title.” a small smile etching on his lips, his voice quite gentle and soft as he replied and gazed at the brunette, almost endearingly and lovingly.
Realizing his own gaze, Raiden looked away- a small shade of blush on his cheeks. Sora unknowingly and simply smiling as they headed to the gaming area.
