Finally In! Part I

Destiny Voyage- Finally In! Sora smiled warmly as they continued to embrace, seemingly forgetting everything around them. What simply mattered was that they were together once more. The young brunette sighed contently as he continued to rub her head soothingly. “Thank you too Robin.” she softly murmured and closed her eyes in relaxation. It felt good to her to be in his arms once more after all those years. “Sora!” a male’s voice yelled and before she knew it, she had pulled back to see Raiden who looked at her and Robin in an empty stare whereas Cosette was stunned to see them. Robin frowned slightly but did not react, “It seems everybody is here no?” Roswell laughed a bit, shocking the young woman a bit with his fast recovery but impressed nonetheless. “Hey not everyone!” a voice screamed as a male figure came tumbling down into their area. The young man looked up with some dust in his face. Haichi. The rest of the gang simply sweat-dropped at his sudden entrance- Sora had no idea how he found them so quickly but they were now a complete ensemble it appeared. Especially as she was going to be a full-pledged member, Sora suddenly felt psyched and pumped at realizing it once more. “Hey Raiden . . .” Sora managed to speak in such an awkward manner that surprised her. She wondered to herself why she was acting so nervous at being caught hugging Robin. Well she really hadn’t really managed to explain the complete situation to them but she was sure that Raiden would have already picked up some ideas from her behavior some time ago. The young woman smiled demurely, “I caught him no?” she still kidded lightly to the people, particularly Raiden where her eyes were looking directly at. The male warrior simply rolled his eyes at the attempt at humor and walked to the trio along with Cosette and Haichi venturing forward with Raiden. “You have to come with us to our guild then Robin.” He stated to the male beside Sora. Little question marks popped all over Haichi’s head. “Eh??? Is he going to be a new member too?” the young man asked Cosette in confusion while the girl simply sweat-dropped at his ignorance. “Haichi this is Robin and he was my mission. To convince him to return to his family.” Sora explained to the male as she thumbed Roswell who seemed to be waiting for his carriage to return to his position. Robin sweat-dropped a bit at her remark. “Hopefully all of the things you said weren’t said just because of the mission huh?” he told the young woman with a small pout but his voice was still a little tense and tight in worry of all of it being actually true and all of those heartwarming words being all pretense. The young woman sheepishly smiled but shook her head. “Of course not.” She grinned, “I’m not a very good liar you know?” she added with a laugh. Somehow Merchants were said to be liars and people who simply wanted to gain profit but as a person who wanted to become something more than just a regular Merchant in the crowd, Sora was completely honest to a fault. Not to mention a fact that she had a hard time lying even if she did attempt to start flowering her words. Robin heaved a sigh of relief and smiled at the brown haired woman. “Well then we should go now.” He urged Sora and took her hand gently. “Lead the way Sora.” He grinned while she laughed modestly. “Uh I still don’t know the way back.” Sora confessed to him as both Haichi and Cosette stifled a laugh at her honesty while the other male, Raiden simply rolled his eyes. “I should probably come along then brother.” A male voice suddenly said as they all turned to Roswell who had his carriage by his side seemingly unscathed and held out his hand to take, either for Sora or Robin, somewhat unsure on who was really being offered to. The brother simply gave Roswell a nasty eye. “You have my word that I’ll go home right after this.” He promised Roswell who merely shrugged. “Words are often deceiving and can be misrepresented.” Roswell replied to the statement as Sora inwardly sighed, why can’t the world ever be free from all those truths and lies? It was so hard to trust if everything one could say was mere fabrication. A memory flashed in the back of her head as she winced a bit but quickly forced herself to stay in place and simply bit her lip a bit, holding back any more visible signs of agony. “It’s alright Robin. He can probably verify that indeed we have done this mission and successfully achieved it too.” Sora smiled slightly and he gave the young woman an unconvinced look, noticing her earlier actions but relented. “Well then, all aboard.” He managed a boyish grin and a roll of his flaming red eyes while he led Sora to Roswell’s carriage. He proceeded to help her and not even let his brother come even an inch close to the young woman. The others soon followed and before they knew it- they had already been travelling to the Guild’s location. The carriage was nicely furnished with full-couched seats along with an opening table and a seemingly mini-fridge that held all sorts of snacks and sweet stuff. Haichi simply devoured the candies while even Cosette couldn’t resist the taste of sweet and cacao chocolate. Only Raiden seemed to be well-versed in keeping his taste buds to control him and join the sweet and sugary sin. As they arrived in the guild’s area, the whole group proceeded to head to Miss Viola’s office where she was situated in her seat. She was found at a very comfortable position with her feet up in the table. The secretary of the Guild master coughed awkwardly to subtly inform her boss albeit it failed with Miss Viola almost toppling over her chair as she tried to put her feet beneath the table. All of the young people looked uneasily away at the sides to avoid the older female’s own embarrassment. “Ah Sora and her other team mates?” the woman greeted warmly before quirking a brow at the two similar snow-haired young men and bowed her head respectfully to the Influentials. “It seems you have accomplished your mission dutifully albeit with some assistance.” She spoke in a disapproved manner while glancing at Cosette, Raiden and Haichi who stood respectfully and barely budged as Sora visibly winced once more. For a moment, the warrior hesitated if he was doing the right thing but he had already then started to stepped closer to her but stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Robin gripped the young woman’s shoulder comfortingly and offered a grin at her before giving a dubious quirk of a brow at Raiden. Raiden stopped his motion towards them and simply moved a bit closer to the blonde Mystic, who somehow noticed his closeness and smiled briefly as a redness spread all over her cheeks. Haichi merely pouted, visibly making it obvious that he did not like at all the happenings of Raiden inching closer to the female. “So I suppose you are going to head home now mister Robin?” the Guild Master queried him and started jotting down on her papers to finish the files. “Yes I am.” He replied curtly to Sora’s surprise. He usually had a loud mouth and shared everything. He clearly had changed it seemed for the better or worse. “How long do you plan on staying?” she asked next, already making sure if the person would actually stay with his family or not and he shrugged coolly. “As long as Sora gets what she wants as a member of this guild.” He nonchalantly replied to the young woman’s surprise and her brows furrowed in surprise as the others seemed rather cool. “I see . . .” Miss Viola then noted and glanced Sora’s way approvingly. The young Merchant didn’t know how to react; did Miss Viola assume that she had seduced the young man? Sora cringed at the realization of that thought and slightly shivered. If anything, it was Cosette and not her who had done all of that the dirty work. Plus, it was not like she asked Cosette to do such a thing like that. Sora’s lips frowned slightly as Robin and Roswell looked at her with concern. “We’re grateful for your decision to help us finish the mission with your arrival.” The woman smiled at Robin in gratefulness. Sora could notice the money-signs in her eyes though to the brunette’s slight dismay. She was rowdier than any Merchant that she have met so far, maybe except for Rose. “It is no problem, as long as I’m able to contribute to this guild.” Robin politely replied with a smile. “Yes we are indeed thankful for your team’s capacity to help us bring back our young brother. It has took us nearly a year and with much difficulty to achieve such a task.” Roswell began to share with a gracious smile, somewhat over-shining his brother with his flowery words and pleasantries. Even Miss Viola seemed to fawn over that sweet and charming young man. Sora somewhat knew Robin was insecure of Roswell- well who wouldn’t be? She looked at Robin and squeezed his hand comfortably as he looked at her with a surprised look and slightly pulled his hand away from her to the female’s surprise. “No, no we are thankful for your family’s enormous generosity for accomplishing this task.” Miss Viola replied politely and smiled at the young man who simply laughed melodically. “My brother is important to the family and worth more than that.” He explained pleasantly. Sora glanced at her team mates. Raiden was stoic whereas Haichi was just humming along and moving around slightly, already happy that Raiden maintained distance against the girl again. Cosette like Miss Viola was attached to look at the fancy young man who screamed “Prince-like” at his looks and even manner of behaviour. Sora sighed, men like that weren’t her type. They were too perfect for the young woman’s liking and she doubted a thing like that to really exist. “I see well whatever the case I am proud to declare that I am now approving Sora Hisako’s application to this guild.” Her huge stamp mark splattered across Sora Hisako’s information paper and a huge check and word pass were pasted on the document. Haichi and Cosette cheered immediately along with a Robin who lifted the young woman in the air while Raiden barely moved an inch in celebration. The brunette looked at Roswell who gave her a proud and pleasant smile that warmed the young woman’s heart a bit. She looked at Miss Viola and worded a silent thank you and the Guild Master simply nodded in response. She was actually pretty nice. “Okay now you emotional bunch move along. I do not want any emotional knickknack in my yard.” The older woman complained as her secretary started to push the youngsters out of the room. Sora laughed a bit as they were thrown out of the room. Roswell who was not thrown out and Miss Viola seemed to be discussing something together and he stayed in place as the secretary simply sighed in appreciation of the handsome young man. “You’re free to celebrate today!” Miss Viola called out to us before the doors closed in. Surprisingly Robin was left with the group, despite the fact that he was a very important person that needed not to run away. “Maybe we should celebrate?” Robin remarked with a devious smirk as Sora glared at him slightly “You promised to go home immediately.” She snapped at him while he merely shrugged. “Roswell isn’t heading home right ahead. I’m still free to go where I please as long as I returned home to stay you know?” he clarified the conditions at Sora while Cosette nodded. “Yeah I think we should celebrate together- the more the merrier.” The blonde grinned slightly. Sora looked at Raiden hoping for some disagreement but he was too indifferent to even bother. Goodness, now they had to use some money!
