"I'm glad majority of the people on earth are happy, Felix." Felix turn around from staring at the large emotion chart on the main chamber of the headquarters to see who talked to him. He smiled at the sight of the endomorph light red skinned man. "Thanks, Regan." He said while smiling at the anger emotion. A smirk has plastered on Regan's face as he pats Felix's shoulder. "I always wonder how you're able to endure this," Regan paused as he playfully hits his own chest, "this f*cking light that'll always glow in us." He continued as he shakes his head afterwards. Felix let out a soft laugh due to Regan's remark. "It feels nice to feel it, Regan." He said. "Aren't you happy that like," Felix paused to think, "almost half of the humans on earth feels you?" Felix asked. Regan paused to stare at him for a good minute before he let out a hysterical laugh as if he's talking a massive nonsense. "You're funny!" Regan said in between his laughs. Felix tilted his head while looking at Regan as if he was a mad man but still let out a small confused chuckle. "Geez, Felix! I don't blame you if this whole," Regan raises his hands along with his fingers and gestured a quotation mark, "major emotion thing is important to you but for me, honestly, I rather go back in that cryocapsule and just be a deformed emotion 'till the whole humanity will cease to exist." Regan continued with the tone of his voice full seriousness matching his deep voice. "I see," Felix murmurs. "You're that ungrateful?" he asked. Felix stared at Regan as he kept his smirk on his face then he nodded. "Unfortunately, yes." He answered in a firm tone. "I am ungrateful." He continued. Felix nodded the moment Regan finished his words then he looked away. Good, atleast I won't be worrying about you and the people with anger issues that much. His lips curved into a small devious smirk. "I know you're greedy, Felix." Felix's ears perked up as he heard those words from Regan. He looked at Regan as if his eyes are knives that are piercing through his body. "What?" he asked as he gritted his teeth. "Let's stop pretending now, shall we?" Regan unhesitatingly said those words, crossing his arms while doing so. For once, Felix clenched his jaw as he remained calm with the current situation. "I don't know what you're talking about." He said as he took a step forward, away from Regan. "Now, listen here—" Regan grabbed his arm, turning him to face him as he let go of his arm. Felix plastered an exasperated expression on his face as his eyes pierced like needle as he looked at Regan. "Its as clear as a diamond, Felix." Regan stated in a low voice. Although Felix does feel vexed about the thought of it, he still chose to deny the fact. "Again," he said, stopping himself from gritting his teeth. "I don't know what you're talking about." Felix turned his back from Regan once again but his steps were stopped when Regan's next remark made his blood boil. "You're scared." He said. "You're scared that an emotion will replace your current rank on being the major and common emotion that humans feel, am I right?" Regan asked casually to annoy Felix with his tone of voice. Felix, absentmindedly clenched his hands into a fist as he tried to remain himself calm. Regan's eyes landed a gaze on his fist, resulting him to let out an amused laugh. "Do you really think that your constant visit in the lab won't make me think of something? Hmm?" Felix remained stiffed on his spot as Regan said those words while slowly walking closer towards Felix. As he stood next to him, he said. "Specifically," Regan turned his head to Felix, "you're watching Pain's growth." Felix popped a vein in his forehead as he immediately grabbed Regan's shoulder, using his force to turn him with himself and slammed him on the wall, pressing his arm on his chest as he gritted his teeth while looking at Regan straight in his eyes. "Watch your mouth, Regan." He stated in a firm tone. Regan raised his hands in surrender along with a laugh. He smirked. "Defensive now, aren't we?" The next thing Felix knew is a brawny jab landed on his cheekbone, making him fall on the ground with his palm pressed on it, supporting his own weight. His eyes gazed on the small bits of him on the ground. He can feel the pain but he also felt his face slowly forming back to normal. "Ah~" shaking his hand to ease up the pain as Regan made a relieving sound. "What a shame," he commented withba sarcastic pout. "I wonder how would the other emotions that looked up to you would react?" he added as he looks at Felix slowly getting up while holding his swelling cheek. "Its fine, Felix. I can understand you." Regan said with a sly smirk. "And don't worry, I will keep my mouth shut." Regan said as he gently pats Felix's shoulder as he passed by him. Felix wanted to rebut but he chose to remain silently He deeply inhales. "What—" Confused, Felix looked around as the headquarter starts to flash red lights along with a warning and alarming sound and so Regan stopped his steps as well. "Felix!" both of their head turned at the direction where they heard the voice. "Boreign, what's happening?" Felix asked as he looks at the gray colored skinned woman, the emotion of anxiety, Boreign. "T-The portal!" stuttering, she said. Felix eyes widened. "Elaborate!" he demanded as he starts to walk through the hallway along with Boreign, Regan followed. As they were walking, Boreign explained. "I-I don't know how b-but I saw the portal open a-and then... that's why I pressed the e-emergency button and—" "Oh, just shut up and talk straight, Boreign!" Regan exclaimed. "For pete's sake, Regan. Let her talk." Felix said. The three of them stopped as the other completely formed emotions have gathered around the portal frame. "Oh, its Felix." Murmurs can be heard as they slowly formed a path way to let Felix see the opened portal. Felix's eyes stared at the white somewhat slimy mist portal. Its the first time he seen it opened and he knew that if its open, it will be a very big problem. "Nobody—" Felix's words got cut off. "An emotion went out." Shangbei said as she's currently standing next to them. Felix looked around, examining every complete figured emotions gathered around. He knows every single one of them, his eyebrows knitted as he sworn every complete figured emotion he knows is present at the moment. "Are you sure? Everybody is here." Felix said. "Have you forgotten?" Shangbei tilted her head. "We are not the only emotions." She said. "There are growing emotions." Shangbei added. Felix furrowed his eyebrows. "What do you mean?" Fixing her eyeglass, Boreign called Felix to grab his attention. "Felix," he looked at her. "The one who went out from the portal is a newly complete formed emotion." Boreign informed. Felix gulped down his saliva before he asked. "Who exactly?" Boreign pursed her lips. "The emotion with a fast growth." She said, before she continued. "Pain."
