Chapter 19

Rowan paced his office as he thought about what Theo had brought forward to him. Ofcourse every king knew at some point that people would try and kill him and his family but it didn’t make him feel any better. Theo stated that the new queen of Venus had killed one of his sons.
Tony was dead because of what, he didn’t know but Rowan would now declare war on Venus. He waited patiently for his children and wife to enter the office before he began. He watched as his wife entered and ran straight to him.
His beautiful petite, red haired wife with her gorgeous emerald eyes. Regina looked like the spitting image of her.
Magdalena looked at her husband, she felt his tension when she hugged him. Something terrible must of happened because she could also feel him trembling but from anger.
“Rowan what is going on?”
Rowan clenched his jaw and balled his fists, taking a deep breath his looked at Magdalena. There was no easy way to tell his wife that their one son was now dead and no word from the other.
He took Magdalena and sat her down on the couch in his office.
“Let us wait for the children my love before I say anything.”
Magdalena just nodded and sat down as she was instructed.
Rowan saw Erwin and Regina walk in and motioned for them to sit with their mother. He dismissed the guards and asked Theo to close the door.
“I have just been informed by Theo that the queen of Venus has killed our son Tony.”
He waited for the reactions, he saw Magdalena shaking her head in disbelief with the news, moments later she started sobbing while Erwin was shocked but soon showed no emotion.
Rowan knew he was channelling the years of training. Regina looked shocked as but just as devastated as Magdalena. Erwin looked at him while comforting his mother.
“Father, do you know how?”
Rowan rubbed his beard and nodded.
“Scott and Tony went to Venus for an alliance signing and somehow got caught in the crossfire. Theo has informed me that Scott is trying to get home but we haven’t heard from him in a while. So I am sending a search party for him but it will take some time.”
Magdalena stood up and went straight to Rowan.
“I want her head, NOW!”
With that statement she left the office. He looked at his children. Regina was clearly still upset and crying so she couldn’t speak at the moment.
“Erwin, will you be ready to fight?”
Erwin rose from the couch and straighten his posture.
“Yes Father, I am ready. I cannot believe this is happening.”
Rowan put his hand on his son’s shoulder.
“We are going to get them my boy. Regina my dear do you need Erwin to take you to your room?”
Regina looked up at her father with her tear stained face.
“No Father, I will have the guards take me.”
Once everyone left his office Rowan starting contacting his allies to assist him. Unfortunately out of the 5 planets he was allied with only 2 agreed to help him with this war. For Rowan 2 was better than nothing and so they arranged to meet in 3 days.
Theo informed Rowan he would see to all the arrangements while Rowan and his family spent time saying goodbye to Tony as tradition would state. Rowan went to find his wife so that he could calm her down until the war.
Back in Regina’s room she tried to make contact with Ahsan. If Ahsan could come here, she could help Regina put her plan into motion. If this war was going ahead she could kill Charlie and have Adam surrender then she could marry Adam and rule Venus with him.
She could also have Ahsan give Adam new memories of her and Adam and make Adam forget that Charlie ever existed. Regina also had to cover her tracks so that her family wouldn’t find out about any of this.
In the middle of her thoughts Ahsan appeared. Ahsan was a tall, light skinned woman, she had raven black hair and hazel eyes with a curvaceous body and athletic build.
She was a warrior witch from Jupiter and Regina’s closest friend. They embraced each other for a while, Regina knew Ahsan would always be there for her and vice versa.
“My friend I am sorry to hear about your brother, we will get revenge.”
“I knew she was evil, I tried to warn everyone but no one would listen.”
Ahsan had been apprehensive when her friend had asked her to help her get Adam away from this strange queen but she though that Regina was just crushing hard on Adam.
“I am so sorry my friend. What can I do to help?”
Regina looked at Ahsan and tried to look as sad and awful as possible.
“I want to save Adam, if we could just get rid of Charlie I would really be glad. She probably has some mind control over him.”
Ahsan held Regina’s hands in hers.
“Tell me what to do Regina.”
“Maybe after this war is done and Adam survives, you could possibly remove Charlie from his memories.”
Ahsan thought about this, it would be extremely difficult. Venus bonds are not easy to break. They have a Divine on Venus and she is truly strong.
“I will try Regina but if their bond is strong it will be difficult.”
“Please try Ahsan, we are at war with Venus because of her reckless behaviour and Adam will suffer. He doesn’t deserve it, he is a good man.”
Ahsan sighed heavily.
“Okay I will help.”
Regina hugged Ahsan and smiled, she would definitely be able to get Adam now thanks to Charlie’s stupid mistake of killing her brother.
