Chapter 18

643 Words
On Mars Regina looked at herself in the mirror and admired herself. She was a red headed beauty with stunning emerald eyes. Her father always said she looked like the younger version of her mother. She had on one of her revealing dresses, the glittering black dress showed off her stunning athletic legs with the slits on each side that came up to her thighs. It also gave everyone an indecent show of her cleavage. She was the king’s daughter so naturally she was going to be the main attraction. She walked down with extreme confidence to the hall of their castle where everyone was waiting. Once she entered she heard gasps and whispers, she smirked hearing what some of them thought. Jealousy, envy but mostly lust. Regina was the youngest sibling and only daughter of King Rowan. Her father had her eldest brother Erwin and the middle kids her twin brothers Scott and Tony. They were all similar in looks, they shared their dads eyes and skin tone everything else belongs to their mother who was absolutely beautiful. It was Erwins pre-coronation party tonight, her father would be handing over the crown to Erwin tomorrow. She hoped Scott and Tony would be able to make it tonight. She hadn’t seen them since she told them Charlie and Adam had found another again. She met Adam from attending meetings with her father and knew she had to have him then she found out he was Charlie’s forever. Her feelings were rejected when she asked him out and he had told her he had a girlfriend named Charlie. She told the twins immediately and they promised her to find a way for her to be with Adam. She was counting on it as she looked around at all the men staring at her, none of them compared to Adam. Her current thoughts were interrupted by Erwin, he hugged her and smiled. “Sister, you certainly know how to make an entrance.” Regina smiled back at Erwin, he was so handsome in a rugged bad boy way which clashed with his personality as he was so soft. “Well I was aiming for exactly that. How’s the dreadful party?” Erwin rolled his eyes, groaning. “As every party we’ve ever had, people trying to marry me off to their daughters and others wanting money or favours.” Regina grabbed two flutes of champagne from a waiter, handing one to her brother who drank it in one gulp. “Something the matter Erwin, you should be used to all this by now.” “I am but now there seems to be an urgency about it. It’s stressing me out Regina.” “Erwin, father will help you through it all. Do not fret about it. So is Adam attending this function?” Erwin shook his head, Regina clearly didn’t know what was happening in the universe. “You didn’t hear King Adam got married to Queen Charlie. Apparently they both said the Venus vows without knowing they did, I think they’re on their honeymoon.” Regina felt heartbroken at that moment, she definitely couldn’t compete now unless she wanted to start a war with Venus. Regina bid her brother goodbye and went straight to the bar to drown her sorrows. Regina was halfway through her third bottle when she heard a commotion. She turned to see her father on stage. He had mostly silver hair with a few remaining streaks of black, he looked so tall standing there with his military uniform on. “Unfortunately we have a family matter to attend to and will have to cut the party short. Thank you for coming and goodnight.” Regina stood up straight after hearing her father’s gruff, authoritative voice. Her guards were at her side and she followed them to her father’s office.
