Chapter 17

Adam walked to the kitchen and set up breakfast for them. When Charlie waltzed in she sat down and watched him. She still felt a little pain but once again she blocked it out. Adam took the coffee from the machine and poured Charlie a cup and himself.

“Good morning kitten.”

Charlie blushed while accepting the cup.

“Good morning babe, how did you sleep?”

Adam thought about the dream that woke him up and frowned. There was a battle on Venus that was coming.

“Not that great, you?”

“Same, is it safe to speak?”

Adam nodded while he set up everything on the table for them.

“So there are three caves, Grotta Azzurra which is the Blue Grotto. Grotta Verde is the Green Grotto. Grotta Bianca which is the white grotto. All of them are on the island of Capri, Italy. Each grotto is 20 minutes apart, but I have a strong feeling it is the Blue Grotto as this one had the smallest entrance, you have to go in with a rowboat and still bend to get into it and you cannot swim in this particular grotto. What’s your take?”

This was the final clue to the last leaf. Charlie was worried about this one, she had studied the three caves of possibilities.

Adam thought it through, he looked at the different caves while deliberating. The Blue grotto was clearly the smartest choice. It seemed like the ideal place to hid the final leaf.

“Okay, we’ll take that one but we need to be fast. Kitten when I showered I noticed this.”

He pulled up the sleeves of his T-shirt and showed her the 2 golden circles that were around his wrists. Charlie pulled up her sleeves and showed him hers.

“Babe what does this mean?”

“No idea maybe you can ask the Divine when we get back?”

Charlie nodded but frowned when a thought came to her.

“How come we didn’t notice it in Switzerland?”

Adam smirked as he made his way towards her. He kissed her neck sensually then pulled her towards him and smashed his lips passionately onto hers. He slid his hand teasingly up her thigh and found her p***y. He delved his fingers into it, sliding them up and down sensually, hearing Charlie moan and whimper. He teased her more by gently pulling her earlobe.

“Kitten remember the phenomenal s*x on the table. Why would I look at your wrist when your breasts were so much more fun.”

Charlie burst out laughing at Adam’s remark. She wrapped her arms around his neck.

“Fair point babe.”

Adam removed his fingers and held her waist.

“We can figure all this out on the plane, let’s eat so we can go.”

Adam kissed her forehead and sat down to eat.

Once they were done, they packed up and headed to the airport. When they sat down on the plane Charlie slept hoping to get a moment with the Divine. A few moments later she got her wish.

Adam watched Charlie move about, he went to her and took her hand. He was immediately transported into her dream. They both stood before the Divine.

“My two children you have done well, your task is almost complete. My instructions are thus, once the third leaf is retrieved you must both, together, join the leaves so the plant can reappear on Venus in the sacred temple then you must return to Venus to prepare for war. It will be a brutal but I feel you are both ready for.”

Charlie and Adam nodded as they stood.

“Do you know what the gold symbols are on our wrists?”

The Divine smiled at them.

“You will know once you complete the task. Follow my instructions precisely and may Venus shine upon you.”

Charlie woke up with a gasp, looking at Adam. She was shaking from the encounter they had. They were both silent for quite some time just to absorbed what happened.

After a while Adam spoke first.

“How do you feel about this?”

“Scared but happy we get to go back. I feel so different when I’m in Venus. A good different like I’m home.”

Adam knew what she meant, he felt it as well.

“Then let’s do this and get you home. Prepare your mental block like how we practiced just in case.”

Once the pilot confirmed they were in Italy. They got their gear and got off the plane, making their way to the Blue grotto.
