The Queen and Her Protector

Chapter 11

Charlie emerged from the bathroom an hour later. She went to the cupboard to get some clothes. Before that she placed an image of her sitting on the couch and reading a book just for Adam. When she was done getting ready she grabbed her purse and left the apartment to go shopping. Charlie came back 30 minutes later and found a bad tempered Adam waiting for her. Charlie locked the door and turned back to face him with a smile.

“So when did you figure it out?”

Charlie had to admit, angry Adam was sexy as hell. His eyes would turn dark, so dark it almost looked black. Adam would usually be frowning; there would be 3 lines, two lines on his eyebrows and one in the middle of it. You could actually see him grinding his teeth. Charlie drew in a breath and released it; her body was already anticipating for the battle between the two of them so she decided to ease the tension. She went to him and tried to hug him but Adam pushed her away.

“How could you be so reckless Charlie? Do you understand the other guy is still out there? I am here to protect you! Do you get that or is shopping so important to you?”

Charlie tried to stay as calm as possible but she lost her cool.

“No you aren’t just here to protect me, you’re here to love me as well and be my damn partner you asshole!”

Charlie grabbed her bag and left for the room. He was extremely unbearable when he was like this, when all he ever thought about was her protection. She went back to face Adam and spoke to him.

“Ever since I’ve known you, you always put my protection first and Adam I love you for it but you cannot always put protection over love. Adam we are partners so start treating me like one instead of treating me like just something you need to protect. I’m going to sleep now, see you in a few hours.”

Charlie went back into the room and climbed into the bed, seducing Adam was the last thing on her mind but she wore the silk pink slip she bought anyway just to punish him a little.

A few minutes later she felt Adam get into bed and hold her tight. He kissed her shoulder, put his chin on her and held her hands.

“I’m sorry Charlie, I’m a total i***t. We are partners and you’re right. I need to work on that.”

Charlie rubbed his hands with her hand and smiled.

“You are unbearable Adam Stewart.”

Adam felt Charlie’s feet rubbing his and chuckled. Adam lifted the sheet and raised his eyebrows at Charlie’s attire. She had on a pink silk slip with black lace at the bottom and a small slit.

“Charlie what is this?”

Charlie turned to face Adam and touched his lips with her thumb. She took his hand and put it on her waist. She leaned in, nipped his earlobe and whispered in his ear.

“It’s your punishment, good night sweetheart.”

“Punishment indeed, good night love.”

It took every fibre of his being to resist her sweet innocent seduction as she pushed him down and sat on top of him. Charlie tried again but a different angle now. She pushed her hands up his chest and hovered her lips near his. Her leg touched his thigh and she felt his grip on her waist tighten.

“Adam I love your touch, it drives me insane. No one makes me feel things the way you do Adam.”

How much more could a man take, he would give her one kiss and that would be it. Adam grabbed her neck and just before he kissed her he heard her gasp. Charlie clung to him and he hated to admit it but she fit him perfectly.

Her little moans did little to sooth him. It only made him want her more. Charlie loved how his hand slid up her slip and caressed her thigh. She never knew that behind this tame man lied an animal in the waking. When she bit his lip slowly he got more aggressive.

He picked her up and placed her beneath him. Charlie heard something rip but she ignored it. Adam nipped and kissed her neck; she tasted so sweet like honey. He simply couldn’t get enough of Charlie.

Adam leaned back, trying to catch his breath.

She beckoned him with her finger and he followed, opening his buttons, Adam put his hands on her to try and stop her but it was as if someone else or something else had taken over his body and let it take control. She kissed him so seductively he lost himself with her. Biting her lip when he was supposed to be gentle, gripping her hips when he knew he was supposed to be caressing it. Charlie didn't expect Adam to be this excited. Charlie's head fell back as he nipped her throat, she moaned his name.

With a desperate, weak moan he tried pushing her away but she carried on seducing him.

Adam sensed that something was different, he wasn’t sure what exactly. He watched her go in a trance like state and she pulled him into it. He moved away to kneel beside her.

"We cannot do this. I can't deny that I want you right now but..."

Charlie put her arms around his neck and kissed him. Adam felt her give him a heart wrenching, heated kiss that set him on fire, she coaxed and seduced him all at once. He loved the taste of Charlie, it was sweet and sexy.

Adam left her mouth to take one of her breast in his mouth while he tweaked the other with his index and thumb. He heard her gasp and moan and arch at his touch. He couldn’t explain it but he had lost all sanity and control.

"Adam please... I oh please...."

He moved his mouth to kiss her again and groaned when she touched him.

"Charlie oh sweet baby..."

Charlie didn’t know how she did it but she produced the bubble. Projecting it from her mind she used the bubble to surround them while they both watched in childlike wonder how the electricity ran around the bubble.

“I want you to take me Adam.”

“Yes my love, my queen.”

Adam removed her elegant slip and Charlie helped Adam remove his clothes. The bubble followed their movements while Charlie focused solely on Adam, on his beautiful love for her, his sacrifices, on everything Adam. Adam felt her reciprocate the love he always had for her, in every touch, in every look, the way she moved, it poured out of her.

Adam positioned himself on top of Charlie, holding her waist with one hand and her neck with his other hand. He pushed himself inside of her bit by bit, at first he was met with resistance, Charlie held onto his shoulders with her hands and placed her teeth on Adam’s shoulder as he went deeper into her she bit harder.

Adam kissed her sweetly, holding her face, he looked at her as if she were it and nothing and no one existed except them. Charlie had seen that look before, she remembered when they had first kissed, he made her feel so special and she wanted him to feel just as special not because he deserved it but because she wanted him to feel the way he made her feel.

Charlie bit her lip really hard to stop her from crying but ended up making it bleed. Adam wiped her lips before he kissed her lips gently. He took in how she kissed bits of him with such innocence that she could hardly tell how aroused it was making him.

Finally given access and having broken the barrier he moved slowly in an up and down motion and Charlie followed him. Charlie felt the glory of it all, their heat, their lovemaking, their love pour into this. The more they moved the faster the blue and purple currents flowed across the bubble, a beautiful sight that Charlie would never forget.

She adored how well they fit together, when Charlie scratched his back Adam drove deeper into her and heard her moan. She did it again and this time Adam drove harder than the first time into her, groaning her name. Adam kissed her fiercely, kicking Charlie’s pulse up a few notched. She delighted in how she could drive him crazy like this. It made her feel delirious with power, power she had over him. When he held her thighs she felt his hand grip her so tightly she accidentally bit his lip. Adam pushed her arms above her head, holding her hands as he gave astronomical thrust into her.

“Charlie I love you kitten.”

Charlie wrapped her legs around Adam’s waist while kissing him. She followed his pace and it felt so wonderful. She felt him put everything into it like he was pouring his heart out to her. Adam thought that she was so pure and amazing. He brought her to the edge and pulled her back again. He had her clawing him when she finally climaxed and soon he followed as the pleasure enveloped them both.

“Oh Adam I love you so much.”

The bubble started sizzling with pressure until burst into tiny little lights, making it look like tiny starts.

Adam made Charlie see the whole damn galaxy, literally. Both out of breath from their lovemaking, Charlie had never experienced that. It was so exciting and intoxicating to her. Adam came to her aid, wiping the blood shed from her lip with his thumb. Charlie laughed as she spoke, she also started playing with his hair.

“Adam I mean wow.”

“Charlie wow doesn’t even begin to cover it.”

Charlie wondered how she hadn’t killed him and she heard Adam wondering the same. She turned onto her stomach and looked up at Adam, beaming at him.

“Is it an exaggeration if I say it was out of this world?”

Adam pulled her up towards him and kissed her deeply.

“No kitten, this was figuratively and literally out of this world.”

Another gold circle appeared on both their left wrists but they were both preoccupied to notice. Charlie laid her head on his chest and fell asleep to his humming.
