Chapter 14

Adam couldn’t help but feel transfixed. He just looked at her. It was as if Charlie had no control over her body at all. A shiver of awareness prickled her skin as she saw his intense gaze slide across her body. Charlie felt Adam’s fingers move ever so slightly. Adam leaned in to kiss Charlie; they had never kissed like this before. It felt so provocatively slow and sensual in such a way that she clung to him. Charlie slid her arms around his broad manly shoulders as she pulled back, caressing his neck.

“It may not have seemed like it but I’m pretty happy too. Adam the love you have for me is what most people dream of having for the rest of their lives.”

“How do you feel about being married?”

“Would it be mental if I said not weird at all?”

“No it would not, come here.”

Adam pulled her back into his arms, took her face and covered his mouth on hers, gently this time. He lingered longer than he meant to. Charlie wrapped her legs around his waist, grabbing a fist full of his hair. He kissed her neck, then her throat and came back to her mouth. He nibbled on her ear and she shivered.

Adam just couldn’t get enough of her, she tasted so good. Adam picked her up and tried to take them out of the bath but failed. Just before they hit the ground Charlie used her air manipulation to pull them back up safely. They both chuckled at what almost happened.

Adam picked her up again and backed her against the wall and kissed her. There was a tender urgency in his kiss. He kissed her throat then made his way up to her ear and then returned back to her mouth. He set her on her feet and his hand went up her thigh, slowly.

“Ada…”

He then found her sensitive spot and pleasured her. She called out his name and grabbed his hair. Her head fell backwards and her eyes fluttered. Charlie's lips parted, he kissed her just as she was about to cry out. He did it until she climaxed. When she let go it was wonderful, she looked good enough to ravish right there but he restrained himself. She bit her lip and looked up at him.

“Whoa.”

“Uh huh.”

Adam took Charlie’s hand and led her to the kitchen table. A shiver of awareness prickled her skin as she saw his intense gaze slide across her body. The bubble appeared to surround them and once again the electricity ran around the bubble. Charlie caught sight of how much bigger this time. She put her hands through Adam’s hair and Charlie felt Adam grab her waist tightly.

“You drive me crazy Charlie.”

“I feel the exact same way Adam.”

She kissed him while Adam held her waist. Adam put his hands on her thighs and squeezed it.

“Adam.”

Adam looked at Charlie for a moment; he was still enjoying looking at her when he felt her pull him closer. Charlie heard Adam laughing as he came down towards her. Charlie kissed him once again and Adam was so wrapped up in the kiss that he felt oblivious to the world around him. All he could think about was how much he needed her. He made Charlie feel so hot and bothered. Adam grabbed her neck and nipped on her ear. Hearing her yelp at his ministrations turned him on dismally. He attacked her mouth with such vehemence that she was a moaning mess. He kissed her neck, biting her skin just a little bit. She squirmed and gasped, tugging his hair. Charlie dragged his mouth to hers again; a deep groan came from Adam. Adam lifted Charlie's leg, wrapping it around his waist. He thrust into her slowly, building and building. He felt her shiver and tremble against him, he watched her react to him and it made the love making much more intense. They built momentum and it got rougher and harder, getting more primal than anything else.

She held onto him for balance as his thrusts became more vigorous. Adam’s hold on her was vicious, his kisses so savage. Charlie was totally helpless against his onslaught. Charlie could no longer hold it together anymore. When they both came undone she put her head on his shoulder. She was breathing heavily. If he wasn't holding her steadily she would have fallen to the floor.

Adam fell on Charlie panting and breathing heavily with her. The bubble exploded into tiny fairy sparkles and vanished. He pulled her back up and kissed her hair. He buried his head in her neck. He kissed her then and picked her up, taking her to the bed and getting in.

“Adam that was…”

“Beyond incredible, what about the bubble exploding like that?”

Charlie nodded at that but it was a sleepy nod. That little session on the kitchen table no less finished her.

“Mmmm, I feel so sleepy baby.”

“Go ahead and sleep, I’ll join you soon.”

Charlie was already closing her eyes and sleeping. He watched her for a bit then when she was asleep he got to work. Adam started preparing their gear for their trail across the snow. He double checked that he packed everything and after he was done he made sure to secure the room. He went to turn in and found Charlie tossing and turning about. He held her hand and watched her dream once again and saw the destruction of the some cave in Italy. Once that happened they watched Venus being destroyed. Charlie woke up with a scream and Adam was there to comfort her. She panted heavily and stared at Adam blankly.

“Adam, that can’t happen.”

Adam tried to comfort her as best she could. What she had dreamt of was horrible.

“Baby it was just a dream, we will stop it.”

Adam brushed her hair over and over as Charlie held him tightly.

“Adam it was so horrible.”

“Remember it was just a dream. Let’s go back to sleep, I won’t leave this time.”

Charlie held onto Adam and didn’t let go as they got in the bed.

“Please don’t.”

“I won’t kitten, I promise.”

Adam distracted her by talking about their trip tomorrow and then about collecting the last leaf and heading back to Venus. He spoke about them visiting his parents with the news and then he spoke about their future. He talked so much that she fell asleep. He kissed her hair and tried to get some sleep as well.
