His phone rang before he could speak, and the next minute he got up, and walked over to the door. The call didn’t last for two minutes. “I need to go, something came up.” He stated urgently. “You haven’t told me why I should keep the necklace,” I said, and got up on my feet, his eyes lingered on me, not saying much, but his eyes stayed. “It was just a feeling, I can’t explain it.” That was his reply. He sighed, “But if you want to give it back, then I will take it from you.” He took two steps closer to me, and I stared back at the necklace and then at him, as if I truly wanted to give it back. “But I wanted you to have it.” “I’ll take my leave.” He opened the door and walked out, I stood with my hand folded and watching him leave the house, he got into his car and drove off.
