A strange feeling

17 years later Don's P.O.V. "Alison Taylor, hurry up!! We will be late for school!! AGAIN!! "I yelled at her from the bottom of the stairs. "COMING!!" That was the reply I got, and a small giggle followed. I knew right away that we were doomed one more time. A few minutes later, she came slowly down the stairs wearing a light purple sundress with sandals, and her beautiful black wavy hair was up in a ponytail. Her beautiful purple eyes were dazzling and smiling at me. "Sorry, I didn't know what to wear today, so it took me a while to get ready," she said. " As always, " I replied, smiling, and we stepped out of the packhouse. We drove to school in my dad's car. As soon as we arrived, we were surrounded by the rest of the pack's gang- Elliot, Missy, and Ria, the triplets of the pack's Gamma Henry. They were red-headed, and Elliot was twice the size of his warrior father. "Common guys!" Missy said and hugged Alison. We were seniors in high school, and prom night was approaching. We were excited about attending the school's prom, and I was supposed to escort Alison that night. She was a bit hesitant due to her foot condition, but since everyone at school loved her and her fantastic personality, she was a straight-A student who helped everyone in need-she could not avoid the prom thing. Alison's P.O V. "Alison Taylor, hurry up!! We will be late for school! AGAIN!!" Don shouted from the bottom of the stairs. " COMING!" I replied, and I giggled. He knew I didn't mean it. It was always so difficult for me to wear. Although I had a good figure, I always got that strange feeling that something was missing. Maybe the fact that I was limping on one side has affected me lately. I always tried to look a little bit beautiful to ensure nobody noticed my limping foot. I was so grateful to my foster parents, Alpha Joshua and Luna Evelyn, for taking me in and treating me like their own child. The thing was that I was not their biological daughter, so somebody else would be the future Alpha. The Alpha position did not bother me much since I had all the love a child could have from its parents. I chose a light purple sundress with sandals and picked my black wavy hair up in a ponytail. I used natural lip gloss and left my room. I went slowly down the stairs and said to Don," Sorry, I didn't know what to wear today, so it took me a while to get ready. " " As always," he replied, smiling. We drove to school in Dons' dad's car. As soon as we arrived, we were surrounded by the rest of the pack's gang - Elliot, Missy, and Ria, the triplets of the pack's Gamma Henry. "Common guys," Missy said and hugged me. We were high school seniors and were supposed to attend the school's prom in a few days. I was hesitant due to my foot, but everyone at school insisted I should not miss it. I was one of the most important attendees, as they said! So, the girls and I decided to go shopping at the nearest mall the following day, since it was the last Saturday before the event. We made plans for our shopping the next day, even during class time. When I got home, we had already decided what we wanted to buy the following day!! During dinner time, I informed my foster parents about my plans. "Good for you, Alison," my mother told me, smiling proudly. "This is something that you should not miss." "Mum, you know how I feel about myself limping. I will be uncomfortable if someone says something," I replied, smiling sadly. "Alison, you are a beautiful young lady," my dad said. " There are so many good things about you. You are smart, kind, helpful, and strong-headed when needed. You will be a great wife for your mate in the future. Don't forget that your birthday is near. Toni said that after your first shift, we would be able to know whether it is curable or not. So, my angel, enjoy your prom night and stop worrying," said my dad, kissing my head lovingly.
