Purpose of my life.

Third Person Pov.

David reached home. He parked his car and made his way inside. He throw his coat on the sofa and went to the kitchen and eat the first thing he could see. He went upstairs to his room. Took his pajamas out and went in the bathroom. He freshen up and changed.

Switched the light off, come out and lie down on the bed. He looked at the digital time in front of him, and mumbled " Wow, is 4 already. Now I have 4 hours to sleep."

He faced the other side, switched the light of and went to Dreamland.

The room was filled with sunshine from outside and there lies David tangled up in his sheets. The loud buzzing of his alarm woke him. He quickly switched it off and removed the sheet from his face. He rubbed his face with his palm and mumbled "Hush, is 8 already."

He got up from the bed and went straight to the bathroom without wasting time. He brush his teeth, took a quick shower, and come out with his towel wrapped around his waist while drying his hair. He went to his cupboard, took out a white shirt, black tie with black suit. He wore them with a black watch. Put on perfume, brushed his hair.

He picked his laptop case and put his coat around his other arm. He come swiftly down and run to his car. Started the car and went to nearby cafe. He parked his car, went in and sat at the first table he could see. Someone come and he ordered his breakfast. After few minutes, The waiter come with his breakfast and placed on the table.

David Pov.

I started having my breakfast as soon as the waiter disappeared.

While eating my breakfast. I remember that girl from last night. I wander how she is doing. Did her operations went well?" Must I go see her.

No. No, I won't. Why should I care. She is no one to me.

After I was done, I clean my mouth with the napkin. Made my way to the counter. Payed the bill and started driving to my office. As soon as I entered the office everyone started congratulating me regarding the award I won last night. I accepted the bouquet they gave me, with a smile then went to my cabin.

My secretary came and told me that I have a meeting. I went through the file I needed, and went to the place where I usually hold the meeting. I sat down After greeting my staff members. I started the meeting asking their opinions about something. The COO stood up and applaud about how our company took such a great turn.

While they were explaining things, My mind drifted to that girl again.I Hope she is fine. I can't take her out of my mind.

"Sir, sir."

"Huh." I looked at the managing director.

"Sir, what do you think about the offer Mr Scott offered us."

The what now!

Who is Mr Scott?

Crap!, I don't even know what his talking about. For the first time in history ,The managing director asked my opinion regarding something which I have no idea about. Oh God help!

What must I do now?

" Can we postpone this meeting to some other time, I'm not feeling well today. I'm going to my cabin."

I stood up and started walking to the door, When I reached the door, I looked back and said. "Nick bring me this week's report, let me see how much profit we made so far."

I must show them, regarding how sick I am . I'm still the CEO .

And I walked out and went straight to my cabin.

When I went in. I saw a woman sitting on my desk wearing short dress that barely covered her.

Damn her legs are sexy.

I went near her and give her what she wanted.

Woman want one thing when they came to me, wearing such things. And that is having fun with me. I locked the cabin door, and I had pleasure with her. After we were done she dressed up, and said in a seductive tone "I never knew you were that good. When will we meet again. " I looked at her and said.

"Never. I don't entertain w***e plus I don't even know you."

She got angry and said. "You just f****d me few minutes ago and....."

"You come to me dressed like that. What do you expect from me. Don't blame me, get the f**k out, and don't ever show me your face again."

She angrily picked her purse up, was going out when she turned back and said ."You will definitely call me again, and if you don't,then me name is not Jennifer."And she went out slamming my door.

I shouted "What the hell do you think of yourself slamming my door like that!"

I buttoned up my shirt, then straighten my tie.I cleared my table and sat down.

"Jennifer."

I remembered her.I got flashed back from last night and that girl.

I'm back to square one again. I'm thinking of her. What the hell is special about her?

why is she occupying mind like that.

A knock on the door brought me back to reality. "Come in!"

I shouted.

Nick came in and hand me the report.

I started going through the file. To be honest, I was physically going through the report, but mentally I was thinking of her.

I looked up and Nick and said."You can go, I'll call if I need you."

He nodded and went out. As soon as he disappeared Layla appeared, with her file.

I'm sure she is here with work.

she smiled and said "Sir, you have a meeting with Mr Gomez."

"Why today."

"You asked me to set it today."

"I don't feel like...."

"No Sir, Work comes before anything else.

So get up and started moving. "

I glared at her to scare her. But she is not at all scared of me. She is the only one in this office who doesn't fear me. She is really used to me now, I think is high time for her to be replace her.

"Sir, You have 10 minutes to reach the venue, Stop glaring like that and get up. You know very well , I'm not scared of you. I'll send you the address. And here is the file you will need for the meeting" She placed the file on the table and left.

I lazily picked up my coat and the file, then made my way to my car. I went to meet Mr Gomez and few other client. I had lunch then come back to my office.

I was in my cabin going through some documents. I heard a knock on the door. I looked up and saw Layla.

"Cancel whatever meeting you are here to tell me." I said going back to my file.

She giggled and said "I'm not her for that, I'm here for, I am here to tell you are working overtime. All the staff members left already. Is just me and you. "

"What!" I looked at my watch and said "Oh, you can go as well, I'll be busy."

"Are you sure you don't want me here."

"I'm 100 percent sure, Bye"

She nodded then left.

I went back to my work. I stayed back thinking of that girl, and before I realized. It 8 already. I went out and told the guard to lock the company . I went to my car and started driving home.

On the way home I saw the hospital the girl was in. I stopped the car, thinking whether to go in or not. With heavy heart, I decided to go in. When I went in, I heard some nurse saying.

"I can't believe we lost her like that. Jennifer was beautiful woman.We must call her husband and inform him about the bad news."

My heart dropped when I heard that. Is like my whole world was on hold. I went numb.

I didn't know what to say or do.

How can she die like that?

Tears escaped my eyes and I started wiping them off. While wiping my tears the Doctor who operated on her came to me and said "Where did You disappear like that Sir ....Anyways I want to tell you something important......Your wife ..."

"Is no more" I complete his sentence while staring at his eyes. "I already heard that. "I added

He looked at me shocked and said "Who told you that."

"I heard the nurses discussing it. They were saying Jennifer lost her life."

I said while cleaning my nose and wiping my tears. I am sure my eyes turned red already by now.

The Doctor smiled and said "You really love her, don't you.....I have a good news though.. she is save and sound."

I felt like my world come back to live. I looked at him and said stammering "B but.but J je hen Jennifer." While pointing at direction the nurses were.

He smiled and said "It was some other Jennifer. She was having a baby. She come in last night, and her husband went missing like you."

Out of happiness I hugged the Doctor, then I pushed him away and said. "Sorry."

This is embarrassing.

I asked him which room she was in. He showed me the direction, and I mmediately went to her. I saw a nurse going through a file. She looked at me and said "Sir ...she will wake up in few minutes."

And she left

As soon as she went out. I started recalling the past few minutes of my life.

What was that about...why did my heart dropped when I heard she died...and why did I become happy when I find out the news was false...David...you know very well women have no place in your life...All women are the same. The only care about one thing and that is money. I can't be here let me leave before she wakes up."

I was about to leave, but I heard the girl mumbling something so I turned back to see her. Her eyes were closed. She was saying"I don't wanna live, no one listens to me, everyone is blaming me ... Idon't wanna live more."

She open her eyes. She looked around and sit up and I think now reality hit her as she realized, she is alive.

She started looking around for God knows what, and she started panicking and covering herself saying "Who saved me. Whoever saved me just ruined my life futher. If my parents find out, I attempt suicide, they won't hesitate to kill me."

That means I did the right thing not calling them.

She got up from the bed and walked past me like I'm not even here. She grabbed a scissors, and I think she was about slit open her wrist since she fold her palm and started moving her hands upper.

I ran to her , grabbed the scissor and throw it away. I started shouting her "Are you mad! , What are you up to?"

She started crying, saying "I don't wanna live... I have nothing to live for...Let me die. I don't wanna live."

Since she was acting crazy I had no choice but to slap her. After I slapped her she hold her cheeks and look at me. She was staring at me for while then, she slapped me back and said "Who gave you the right to slap me. What do you think of yourself !"

I got angry and was about to slap her, but I stopped myself when I saw how scared she got. She fell down to the ground crying, saying.

"Why did you save me ... I have nothing to look forward to ... my whole life is ruined. I tried to fix it, but I couldn't.

Everyone at college makes fun of me .. my family make fun of me ... They all call me fat and ugly. The one who l took as my life betrayed me. He killed me. I don't want to live, please just kill me .... I'm not good at anything. My younger sister has everything she could ask for. She has everything, but me , I have nothing. Not even my family's love."

After she was done speaking I started remembering my past which brought tears to my eyes. Now I understand why this girl was special.

Because this girl, is suffering the same pain I did 6 years ago. I went near her, sat down, and made her face me. This is the first time I'm looking at her eye to eye. She was so beautiful, with her swallowing face and red eyes.I started wiping her tears and she looked at my eyes and said."I never knew my story would bring someone to tears. Please, let me die. I told you about my life.

I'm sure you know now, that I don't have any reason to live."

I finally said ."Did you even try to speak to someone. " Which made her cry even more.

She said "I did , I swear I did, and guess what, they said, I don't deserve to live,and that I'm responsible for what's happening to my life."

After that I hugged her tightly and said while crying with her . "No... you not responsible. How would you know the person you trusted would betray you. I believe you."

After I said that she hugged me back and said "No one has given me a hug. I always wanted someone to hug me and tell me I'm not responsible.Thank you so much. You don't know me and yet you believe me. Thank you so much."

How can I tell her that I was once in her shoes but I had no one to give me a hug.

How can I tell that I know exactly what she's going through.

After few minutes the Doctor came in and we broke our hug. The Doctor smiled and said to her.

"Mrs Valdez, can you please lie on the bed. You are still weak."

She looked at me shock, I looked the other way, then stood up and lie on the bed. The nurse started checking her and the Doctor looked at me then her and said.

"Mrs Valdez, Do you know you are most luckiest person on this earth.Your Husband really loves you a lot."

She looked at me, and I looked away.

Shut up Doc, I didn't know what I was thinking last night.

The Doctor came to me and said.

"Mr Valdez. You can take your wife home now. But you have to be very careful about her, since she is still weak, and here, you must get her this medication and make sure she takes them. And you have to explain things to the police, because she tried to commit suicide. Which is illegal."

I nodded, taking the prescription from him.

He went out so did the nurse.As soon as they went out she said "I still don't wanna live."

I glared at her, and said "Do you know you only have one life. Don't waste your life like that. To be honest, You want to end your life for nonsense. You think, life is a joke , don't you?

Instead of killing yourself make something out of yourself. "

She looked at me, and said "Instead of living in a pain is better to end, Instead of suffering silent is better to kill yourself. I am tired.

I can't live.

There is a fire burning in me , and it needs to be extinguish badly."

I laughed at her statement, and said "You seriously need mental help."

She shouted "I don't want to live!"

I walked to her, and sat on the bed ,hold her hand and said. "You do, you want to live, you just need to find the purpose to live."

She locked her reddish eyes with me, and said "But I don't have a purpose."

"You do. You just need to find it."

"Then what could is be?"

"Revenge!"

"Revenge for what."

"You must take revenge for whatever people did to you. You must make them feel what they made you felt. You must make then live in the hell, for making you live one."

"How?"

"By killing yourself."

She smirked and, said. "You not letting me."

"You must kill yourself. Then you must take a rebirth to take revenge."

"But you said I only have one life."

"End it, And be reborn as a new person."

"You making no sense."

"What is your name?"

"Tessa."

"Then you must kill Tessa. You must Delete Tessa from your life. You must take a reborn and creat havoc in the people who is responsible for Tessa's death. Take a rebirth with a new identity."

"What must I do then. I don't even have money. Nor do I have place to stay."

"You can stay at my place until you make something out of yourself. You will have to make a name for yourself. You will have to make people envy you. Then you family will realise what a gem you were. Your ex will realize how special you were. Then make them regret for what they did. Only then, your revenge will be easy. You know what, love and revenge are neighbors. If love doesn't work out, Revenge will definitely work out."

I wiped her tears, and she got up from the bed and said while walking to the window "You are right. From now on Tesaa is dead. And everyone who killed her will have to pay heavy price for it. I will change myself completely, I will get a new name, a new identity. By the way, what must my name be?"

I stood up and said "Jennifer!"

"Jennifer." She repeated after me.

"Now my name is Jennifer. Tessa is no more. Ricky get ready to face Jennifer for killing Tessa."

"That's the spirit! " I shouted

We heard a knock and then, saw the Doctor coming in. He said. "Sorry to disturb you guys. Here I come with the discharge papers, Please sign here, then you can take your wife home."

I signed the paper. He went out and I said said to Tessa " Let's go."

she nodded and went to the bathroom to changed, After she changed , I took her to my house.
