"Of course Nana, he will surely come around."
Harper was happy that she has made the right decision but she also knows that it won't be easy staying with Caleb due to his attitude but no matter what she will scale through it.
The drive to the building was just twenty minutes and it was located in the heart of the city's affluent district and it cost over 100 million dollars. Harper was shocked to behold such a huge mansion and it was then she realized that she really got married to a billionaire.
Before Harper could observe everything in the house, Grandma Judy has already taken her to Caleb's room.
"This is like wise your room Harper dear."
"But... Nana, I don't think Caleb will be comfortable with this, he might want to have his space likewise me."
"No but, he just have to accept it like that."
Harper knows that she is in for trouble if Caleb should come back and find her in his room but Harper couldn't challenge Grandma Judy and decides to obey her.
"Hello, Mrs Wilson, I'm Mrs Rose and I will be assisting you from now on, so if you need anything do not hesitate to call on me."
Mrs Rose looks like a lady in her late forties, but she has a slim body with suit her face perfectly and a nice smile that is quite welcoming.
"Alright Mrs Rose, it's also nice to meet you."
"Rose," Grandma Judy called her back as she was about leaving. "Please do well to prepare something for our wife right now, she looks so lean."
"Alright big Madam Judy."
Grandma Judy can't wait for me to add up the whole weight I had lost ever since my father's illness.
"I will leave you to rest now Harper, if you need me just send for me." Grandma Judy said before leaving the room.
The Room has an amazing space. It's 50 feet high with a beautiful chandelier that shines like a rainbow. The walls are cream-colored and have huge windows that show off the gorgeous gardens.
The room is lit up with crystal lights and has a sweet smell from fresh flowers. It's perfect for relaxation or entertainment.
Harper never thought that her life could possibly change so fast like this. She never believed that she would be living in a mansion now.
The bedroom door opened while she was lost in thought.
It was Mason!
"Mason! What exactly are you doing here and can't you knock before entering."
"I did but I didn't get any response. What are you doing here."
"I don't have any explanation to give you, get out from my room before I call the guards on you. Infact who allowed you into this house."
Mason couldn't help but laughed at what she just said.
"Very funny Harper, I live here and Caleb is actually my cousin."
Harper was indeed shock to hear this from Mason because he had never talked about his family to Harper ever since they started dating.
"Now it's your turn Harper, what are you doing here? I heard that Brother Caleb just got married and I wanted to come see his wife. No..no... Don't tell you are his wife."
"It's good that you know now and I don't need to remind you that from now on you address me properly."
"Harper how could you, so you have been cheating on me all these years?"
"Ohh..no Mason, you won't play that card with me. If you know what it is good for you leave here right now."
"It's fine Harper, I know you were forced to marry Caleb, I know you don't love him but I'm here for you and I still love you." Mason said as he grabbed Harper's hands.
Harper recalled the earlier scene she had witnessed between Mason and her sister and she felt disgusted.
"Let go!," she yelled as she quickly removed her hands from his.
Her sudden cry took Mason by surprise. Was this Harper that he knows? Harper always use to want Mason but now she was yelling him.
Mason couldn't help but wandered if Harper found out his relationship with her sister.
Mason felt scared and tried to move over to Harper to explain things to her but before he could get so close to her there was a knock at the door.
"Come in," Harper said while trying to wipe the tears off her eyes.
Mrs Rose came in with a smile on her face but seeing Mason and the look on Harper's face, she couldn't help but asked, "Are you alright Mrs Wilson?"
"Of course Mrs Rose," Harper pretended as she struggled to put on a smile on her face.
"Welcome home Mrs Wilson," Mason said immediately and stormed out of the room.
"Your food is ready Mrs Wilson, I'm sorry I didn't ask you what particular food you wanted so I made some different dishes to choose from."
"It's fine Mrs Rose and I'm sorry for the stress but please help me to cover them I will do well to eat later."
Harper has already lost her appetite after encountering with Mason, she wished not to see him again because he brings back old memories.
"Alright Mrs Wilson," Mrs Rose responded and left the room.
Harper was still trying to recover from the shock that Mason is actually Caleb's cousin. He has never mentioned that to Harper. Harper has always wanted to know about his family but Mason hardly talks about it. She doesn't know if Mason was not happy with his family or not. Once she asked him about his family he instead brings up unnecessary excuses.
And now Harper doesn't know how to feel anytime she sees him because he is actually part of the family and Harper knows for a fact that no one in Mason's family knows that he is about to become a father.
"I hope Mason is really not up to something bad because since he could cheat on me with my sister then he can do anything crazy. I seriously have to keep an eye on him so he doesn't hurt anyone." Harper said before dozing off on the bed.
