Chapter 26 Brocc drew his daggers as the grain stalks surrounded the party. The ship had completely disappeared now, along with Geoffrey and Kendall. The grains looked down at them with curious but concerned faces. Dust spilled from their nostrils as they shifted and spoke amongst each other in low whispers. They towered over the team, casting a long shadow over the sand. “Where did you take them?” Brocc asked. The grains kept whispering, ignoring him, and Brocc growled.
