Chapter 38 Parson and an entourage of aristocratic vegetables and soldiers marched toward the castle. The purple dome colored the sky in shades of violet and lavender, giving the city a strange glow. Parson led the group to the front of the castle, where the sentries opened the gates and let him in. As he strolled up the steps to the main entrance of the castle, Parson pulled a scroll out of his cape. He led the entourage through the winding hallways of the castle, deep into its depths until they reached the throne room with its high, vaulted ceilings and empty throne.
