Kendall sat on the railing of the blimp as he finished reading the first few chapters of Geoffrey’s book, Nutrizeen. He looked up at the sky as he digested what he read.
He couldn’t believe what was in the book. His entire life … he wasn’t so sure about it anymore.
He thumbed back to the first few pages of Geoffrey’s introduction:
This book is for humans. Vegetables will no doubt be surprised at what is written here, but it’s the humans who are truly clueless. Many of them will resist my message, and they are the lucky ones. They will shrink back into their lives and try to pretend this book never happened. I don’t pity them; it’s what I would do, too.
