part 2 of meeting the parents

Nilo's POV

After we put the horses in their stalls we headed to the pack house we are watching a movie with her family. I use my telepathic ability to speak to Patty, Dale's mate, are you ready for our plans to proceed? Well hello to you too brother. I'm done letting these wolves think they run things. Well, now that I am in with Mala we'll be proceeding with our plan soon. Cindy says she has her part in place but is disappointed she will be giving up Micky. She will survive at least she was able to enjoy some time with her mate. I have had to live alone for the last 4 years. Whatever brother we need to quit talking before someone suspects something.

Okay well, let's enjoy a movie and relax. Mala suggested I take her turn picking a movie since it is her turn. Vaughn is here also he looks a bit annoyed. I use telepathy to speak to him.

Hey Vaughn, sorry I didn't know we were meeting her family for a movie. It's an okay boy I used the time to meet with Mauro, the future alpha. Cool, Thanks for bringing me. I got a kiss and introduced her to my wolf. Way to go dude now remember I'm still alpha and we're leaving after the movie. Understood Alpha.

All of Mala's immediate family is here now and the introduction as Mala's mate is being made. Her brothers congratulate us and give me the don't hurt my sister line. Then they start to bow and I follow suit because I don't know why. Then her parents walked in and I understand now why they bowed their heads. Mala tells them she accepts my claim as her mate. Her mother is looking at me funny. Maybe she is disappointed I'm Mala's destined mate. What she doesn't know won't hurt her. By the time they figure things out, it will be too late. After all the hugs and handshakes are done we're ready to watch a movie. It was Mala's turn to pick and she suggested I pick. I look at Mala with admiration while I try to remember which movie Thomas was complaining about Mala liking. Oh yeah! Must Love Dogs. I tell them Must Love Dogs, Thomas scowls at me I smile at him then looks at Mala. He nods in understanding.

What we do for our mates. I sit next to Mala and she lays her head on my shoulder. I almost dozed off watching that movie. Vaughn just announced our departure. Alpha Ruby, Mala's Mom requested we stay for dinner as it is only 30 minutes away. Vaughn agreed to stay. I am happy that's a little more time with my beautiful mate. Mala suggested we play a game. We agreed on Pictionary. Vaughn agreed to be the timekeeper as he is mateless. She is part of a greater plan. The game was fun and the boys won so think the girls should reward us.

Mala gave me a peck on the cheek. I pulled her closer and tilted her head up to face me then I nipped her bottom lip and gained access to her mouth. Our tongues wrestled for dominance and I prevailed. I ended the kiss and left her gasping for breath. I then gave her a love tap on her butt. This gained me a couple of growls and balled-up fists from her brothers and this is interesting from Vaughn as well. I'll hear about this no doubt. You know for werewolves supposedly being all touchy-feely these guys are prudes. Alpha Ruby just came to announce dinner. Phew! It was getting tense up here. "Pup we'll talk later. You will be glad her Mom entered when she did. I can't believe you disrespected her and her family like that," says Vaughn. "Yes Alpha, "I reply. We enter the dining room and the table is set nicely. Alpha Ruby is at the head of the table with her mate to the right. To the left of Alpha is Alpha Vaughn as a ranked guest. To his right is Mauro and then his mate. Next, are Micky and Cindy followed by Dale and Patty then we have Thomas and Mary Nilo sits next to Mary and I sit between Nilo and my Father. We are having spaghetti, salad, and bread.

We ate dinner and then we had to say our goodbyes. I have never dated so we are going slow for now.

" Vaughn did you at least enjoy your visit today," I asked. "I did, I had a meeting with your brother, he replied thoughtfully. What were you just now thinking about I asked Vaughn curiously? " I was thinking about your twelfth birthday," he says with a wink. " Surely you remember the way you greeted me that day I will never forget, he says looking me straight in the eyes.

Flash Back

Nilo asked if we could come to Mala's birthday party which is odd to me but I'm good friends with Mauro, her older brother, so I agreed to allow him to tag along as one of my warrior guards. Well Mauro it's great to see you. You as well Alpha Vaughn. At that moment his little sister came running in to say hi to me. Well, hi! there, pretty lady, I said with a smile as I caught the most awesome scent. I am looking to see where it is coming from and realize that delicious scent is Mala as she hugs me hello. Mauro can we talk, please?

Mauro, I think your baby sister might be my fated mate. He asks why I think that. I tell him her smell is heavenly and I feel sparks when we touch. He slugged me and I fell back a couple of steps. I can't be mad because I would have reacted the same way. He then made me swear not to act on anything.

Back to the present time...

" Well, Vaughn I am counting on you to watch out for my little sister when she joins your pack. Remember she was raised expecting to be a Luna, not some lowly omega, says Mauro. Don't worry, Mauro Smash and I feel some sort of connection to Mala. Also, don't worry I will set Nilo straight for disrespecting that beautiful sister of yours. I'm counting on it Alpha Vaughn, he replies. We will see if this isn't something that will make Mala reject her supposed mate if Mom will even allow it. Only time will tell. Well, thanks for having us here today. I enjoyed the movie, gameplay, and dinner, Vaughn states respectfully. " Since the women are done cleaning up from dinner, Nilo and I will be heading out now," says Vaughn.
