I will not tell Nilo that it was not her place to serve me before him. Although I do feel it made him jealous and I suspect he's feeling a bit possessive with the mate bond and all. He said that her father was more nurturing and therefore Ruby being more assertive was the right choice for Alpha. Ruby is the daughter of 2 alphas and a very powerful wolf. She is rumored to be a special wolf but I've never seen her wolf. She had 2 older brothers but they were killed by werewolf hunters during the great war. I wonder if Mala follows in her steps with healing powers.? I will find my answer when she and Nilo mate and she joins my pack. Too bad she has to come as an omega.

Mala should be my Luna. I need to focus on my meeting with Mauro. This union will strengthen our alliance. I hope that Nilo doesn't screw this up. I may have to hurt him even if he is my cousin. I believe I once heard his mother was a witch. That makes him a half-warlock. I am waiting for him to come into his powers as a hybrid.

" Mom I am back what did you need my help with," I ask as we come in through the back door. "Hey Nilo, why don't we let these women tend to their business," Dale tells Nilo as he escorts him out of the room. " Thanks, Dale, I mindlink him. "Don't mention it," he replies.

"Now that the boys are gone, I assume you and Lena searched Nilo's mind, Mom guesses.

" Yes we did and I don't think you want to discuss it in a public place. Can we go to your office," I ask.

" Yes, of course, "Mom replies.

We walked to Mom's office and she closed and locked the door. " We are alone and my office is soundproof," she reminds me. "Mom, Lena says that Nilo is not even half werewolf. He was raised by a werewolf, but his Mom is a dark witch. She taught him how to shapeshift explaining that he just didn't inherit his father's werewolf genes. He somehow got some of Vaughn's blood and made a potion to make himself smell like Vaughn. Lena said that he believes that his father is his real father. She said that his mind is full of dark magic and he is void of a soul. Lena decided we needed to get out of there and get to a safe place. We believe that Nilo and his Mom are up to something bad," I conclude.

" I don't think they are the only ones, Mom replies, I am going to have a meeting with Mauro tomorrow, she tells me. In the meantime remember not to discuss this with anyone, she says with finality. I do need you to continue to act like you don't know anything about this for just a little bit. At least until we have a chance to access the situation," she says reassuringly.
