As soon as we enter, my eyes land on the floor, where Violet has curled into a tiny bowl. Screaming. . .
“I’m here! Violet, mommy is here! “ I go to her and kneel by her side. Alex stands on her other side.
“She is having a nightmare. ” I exclaim, wrapping my arms around her.
“Violet, do you hear me?”
