Alpha Antonio POV
“Is everything ready for the peace summit today Charles?” Alpha Antonio of the Crescent Bolt pack asked of his Beta.
Beta Charles bowed upon entering the room before answering his Alpha. “Yes sir. The witches are in position hidden in the woods out of sight and the strongest of our pack members will be stationed behind you at the border lines between our territory and that of the Blood Moon packs.”
“Have the gifts been prepared for the Alpha and members of the Blood Moon pack?”
“Yes sir. Baskets have been prepared with fruits and vegetables from the gardens and honey from our beekeeper’s hives. The seamstresses have prepared rolls of our finest silk and cotton to present to Alpha Lucas. And Luna Rose has been in the kitchens all morning assisting the cooking staff with preparing varying meats to bring as an offering.”
“Good good Charles. And what of our unmated she-wolves? Have they been prepped for their role in today's peace summit?”
Alpha was turned away from his Beta so he missed the subtle stiffening of Beta Charles when asked about their female Omegas. Beta Charles collected himself quickly before responding to his Alpha. “The Elders have instructed our finest Omegas in the ancient dance of peace and have prepared a show for the Blood Moon pack.”
Alpha Antonia smiled brightly. “Only the best for our future allies.” Alpha Antonio turned and looked at his Beta coldly. “I expect nothing to go wrong today. We need the backing of the Blood Moon pack and I will do whatever it takes to ensure that we get it this time.”
Beta Charles hesitated before asking. “What of the pack members that we are leaving behind sir? If we take all of our warriors with us to the peace summit, who will protect our sisters and brothers if we come under attack?”
“Don’t worry about that Charles!” Alpha Antonio growled. “Our members will be perfectly safe here within our territory. It’s those of us that will be face to face with the vicious Blood Moon pack we have to worry about protecting.”
Beta Charles nodded slightly before bowing and walking out of his Alpha’s office to oversee last minute preparations.
Time is running out to get the Blood Moon pack as allies. If we can’t convince Alpha Lucas to ally his pack with mine this time around all will be lost. “I have waited too long for this moment to watch it slip away again.” He growled out loud.
Summer POV
“Are you sure about this Mother?” Summer asked while inspecting her reflection in the full length mirrors. “This dress seems rather revealing for a peace summit.”
Luna Rose tsked at her daughter. “You look beautiful little wolf.” She said, walking up to peck a kiss on her daughter’s cheek. “Besides, this is the dress that your father had commissioned for you specifically for today.”
Luna Rose turned from her daughter quickly, but not quick enough for Summer to not see the flash of worry that flitted across her delicate features. Summer frowned, wondering inwardly what had her mother so worried. Brushing that aside, Summer went back to inspecting herself in the mirrors.
At five foot ten Summer was slightly taller than most of the other she-wolves in her pack. Most of the females Summer had seen around the castle and grounds were petite little things no taller than five foot seven. Which is fairly tall for females by human standards, but for wolves this was on the shorter side.
The difference in size never bothered Summer much because with her height came long, slim legs that had caught the attention of many Sentinels she’d seen patrolling the castle over the years. One of her legs caught Summer’s attention now. Why would her father choose such a revealing dress for her?
The dress in question was a beautiful lavender color made from the softest silk that clung to Summer’s body like a second skin. The dress was floor length with the bottom barely touching the ground with her bare feet. There was a slit coming up the left side that stopped just below her hip bone that barely kept her lady parts from being exposed.
The dress was made in true Grecian toga style with there being only one sleeve that covered her left arm with a slit in the part covering her forearm. This resulted in her left breast being completly covered. As for her right one, that was a different story. The dress barely clung to the side of her right breast showing off half of her boob from the side. And there was a lot of boob to expose thanks to her D cup breast size.
The back of her dress was almost completely exposed except for the left most part of her back with the dress line going down to just above her ample bottom. Summer feared that if she turned the wrong way the entire right side of her dress would fall off exposing much more skin than she was comfortable with sharing amongst strangers. Thankfully the seamstress was kind enough to put a clear strap around the back to help with keeping the dress in place.
Again Summer wondered why her father would commission such a dress for her.
Summer was pulled from her thoughts when her mother came over and wrapped her in a hug. “The dress looks amazing on you Summer.”
Summer smiled brightly. “Thanks Mother. I just hope I don’t flash the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack my boobs by accident.” Summer said, biting her lip nervously.
Luna Rose held her daughter tighter. “You’ll do fine, little wolf. Don’t worry so much.” Pulling away from the hug Luna Rose grabbed her daughters hands and held on, giving reassurance. “Are you ready to go out there?”
Summer smiled, giving her mother’s hand a squeeze before letting go. “Ready as I’ll ever be. I just have to finish a few last minute things and I’ll be down.”
Luna Rose squeezed her daughter’s hands lightly before leaving Summer alone with her thoughts.
“What is my father upto?” Summer speaks out loud to her reflection. “This dress shows more than it covers of my body.”
How shall I get through this peace summit without making a fool of myself in this dress?
