Chapter 3.
"You look beautiful Mia, you should smile" Nadia told Mia as she dressed her up.
A cracked mirror with a pearlscent rim showed Mia her reflection in a long wedding dress. Today is the day Mia could become the Luna as she will be married to Alpha Stephan.
In as much as she dislikes her father, she just cannot let him die. If his being alive is only possible by her marrying Alpha Stephan, then she will marry him without asking questions.
Regardless of that, Mia is still worried as to what the family duel was all about. She dragged her finger through her long black styled hair and kicked her left feet out through the slit of her dress.
"Mia?" A gentle knock followed the voice of Mia's father as he stood at the door.
"You should talk to your father Mia" Nadia said.
Nadia opened the door, leaving the room for Mia and her father so they can talk.
"You look beautiful Mia, I pray you're happy in your marriage with the alpha king". Mia's father said as he stared at Mia in her beautiful dress.
Mia did not respond to her father as she was focused looking at herself in the mirror with a mixed expression.
"Mia, I know the way in which you will be happy with the alpha king Stephan" her father continued…..
"I know what will make you gain power as the luna and also gain Stephan's love" her father added.
"Tell me". Mia turned to face her father.
"All you have to do is bore him an heir, the duel can and will only be settled when you bore alpha Stephan an heir and that way you also stay alive" her father said.
"Just stop it father!, so all this is about turning me into a baby producing machine for the alpha. You don't care about my feelings at all!. All you care about his saving your wretched life father!" Mia said out of anger and frustration.
She knew her choice of words with her father were harsh but also she needed to feel a little bit of closure and also express her emotions.
"Please I want to be left alone father" Mia said as tears roll down her cheek.
Mia's father left the room and Mia was left all alone with her thoughts.
"I will marry Stephan and I will fight for my life and my right" Mia said to herself.
"It's time for the wedding Mia". Nadia came in to tell Mia.
As Mia walked down the aisle with a heavy heart she could feel her mate bond so strong with Stephan. Her could hear her inner wolf palpitating and telling her she will be fine.
"Is this me experiencing the mate bonding" Mia asked herself.
Stephan could feel his inner wolf getting attracted to Mia as she moved towards him on the alter.
"This is the same girl I saw in the room…. So, she is former beta Andrian's daughter?" Stephan was surprised but kept his cool as Mia approached him.
Mia and Stephen stood close to each other as they go through the Marital and bonding right together.
"Alpha Stephan of the crescentmoon pack, do you accept Mia, the daughter of former beta andrian as your beloved Luna?"
The name of Mia's father brought back painful memories to Stephan's heart but he knew he had to marry her to get his revenge and fulfill his right as the alpha of the pack.
"Yes, I do" Stephan responded.
"Mia, do you accept alpha Stephan as your beloved husband and alpha king?"
"Yes, I do" Mia responded.
The rituals was completed as Mia was made the Luna of the crescentmoon pack.
As the pack congratulate them, Mia could feel the stiffness in the air and she knows most of the pack members do not like her and she needs to be extra careful from now on.
Nadia walked up to Mia to congratulate and Stephan came along.
"Mia, its time we leave now and retire to our chamber together and fulfill our marital rites to one another" Stephan said
As Stephan held Mia, she could feel a sudden warmth and as she gazed into his deep black eyes, she felt a sudden feelings and affection for him that she has never felt before.
As they got into their chambers, Stephan undressed while Mia sat at the bed fully dressed not knowing what to do next. She is still worked up over her last conversation with her father and her new life as the luna.
Stephan ran his hands through her hair as he sat beside her.
"I am sorry we started off on a wrong foot, please can we start all over again" Stephan told Mia while looking into her eyes.
Mia felt a sudden chill down her spine and did not believe Stephan would be this calm and gentle towards her.
"Go and undress Mia or….. should I undress you?" Stephan asked Mia.
Mia tilted her head, confused by his question when he suddenly slammed his lips on hers. Mia was surprised by his sudden move but it felt amazing as her body connected to his.
"I will undress you Mia" Stephan said staring into Mia's eyes seductively.
Stephan's hand wrapped around Mia as she undressed her and watch her naked and seductive body in a bright light. His body flushed against hers and he lifted Mia wrapping her legs around his waist before one of his hands trailed deep into her hair as he kissed her deeply.
That was Mia's best and first kiss, the feel of his lips on her, the way his tongue gently glided over her bottom lips making her gasp a little just enough for him to explore every part of her mouth.
Mia knotted her fist in his hair and kissed him passionately. Stephan gripped Mia's thighs and wander underneath it as he kissed her neck making her beg for more.
"You are now mine Mia, I am the only one for you" Stephan said as he lay her on the bed caressing her breast.
Yet feeling so unsure, his words made her heart beat with his, wanting his body, wanting to believe his words, Mia knew she has to enjoy the night with him to the fullest.
"I am all yours Stephan" Mia said as they both explored each other's body. He squeezed her in his arms as the exhaustion took them both and Mia fell asleep feeling loved and wanted or so she thought.
The voice of Stephan woke Mia up from her sleep. As she saw him dressing up, the thought of last night event flashed back in her mind and she couldn't help but blush.
"Good morning Stephan" Mia said smiling
"It's alpha Stephan and not Stephan and good morning to you" Stephan responded sounding cold.
"Oh… I'm sorry….but what do I have to do today…. I mean I thought we were suppose to spend some time together Stephan. You are my mate and I….." Mia was cut short by Stephan.
"I am your alpha, get that correctly and the sole reason for marrying you is to bore me and the pack an heir. So let's just focus on that Mia. Do we have an understanding Mia?" Stephan told Mia sounding cold and domineering.
Mia felt a sudden pain in her heart and she thought Stephan really likes her if not love her yet with the passion they shared together the night before but then she remembered what her father told her.
She needs to provide an heir for the alpha king Stephan and that's the only way she would survive as the luna.
Mia knows she has to get pregnant and maybe… just maybe Stephan would love her following her being pregnant with the heir of the pack. She also need to work on her inner wolf now and become more stronger being the Luna comes with lots of responsibilities and tasks she needs to be able to handle.
"Yes…. We have an understanding" Mia responded.
"Good, then" Stephan responded as he walked out on her.
