Amber’s POV:
I can feel my heart breaking into tiny pieces. I don’t understand why Kai hates me. I know our situation isn’t ideal, but it happened. The baby is here whether he likes it or not, and I just can’t process the amount of hatred this man seems to have toward me.
The tension in the room is volatile and I can sense Dad wanting to lay into him, but he doesn’t. He stands there completely silent with a look of sadness and defeat plastered on his face. Jeon and Jackson’s mouths are gaping in horror, Ty is slowly shaking his head and Ryker looks like he is about to blow a fuse.
