Amber’s POV:
Kai’s words seem sincere, but everything inside me screams no. It’s not fair of him to ask and I know this, but I am willing to forgive him for our daughter. I can see the fear written in his big blue beautiful eyes as he waits patiently for me to respond.
“I forgive you, Kai. I will give you a chance, but our daughter is what matters.”
With a simple nod, he walks away with his head hanging down. I didn’t mean to be rude with what I said, but she is what matters. I want nothing more than to co-parent her in peace with him, but the ball is in his court, and how this plays out is ultimately up to him.
