"honey, why do you look so upset? It's my first day at the office after one month and you're sending me off by being sad? How can I work there knowing you are sad here?" Xavier whines to Bella as he sits beside her after getting ready to leave for work.

Today marks Xavier's first day at the company after exactly one month and one day. He would have gone yesterday but they had to take baby Aubrey to the hospital for vaccination, so he postponed it to today. Of course, nothing is more important to him than his wife and daughter. He prioritizes his family over anything else and just one day's delay wouldn't matter. But now as he got ready to leave, his wife sat on the bed with baby Aubrey in her lap and playing with her ring with a big pout on her face.

One month ago when Xavier ordered the designer to get another ring for Bella as he was lost during the accident, as promised the designer brought it exactly after two days. Without wasting a single second, Xavier put it on Bella's finger, until then he wasn't really at peace. But seeing the ring on Bella's finger finally made him feel at ease and happy. Bella also got her phone which she doesn't usually use much.

She only uses it to make calls to her parents and in-laws. Seeing certain parents and in-laws in society and reality, Bella feels so happy and blessed to have them because they're so great. They take care of them well and always wish good for Xavier, Bella, and baby Aubrey.

It's not that Bella doesn't want me to go to the office but she's sad that Xavier won't be with her from now on time. This past month, they were always together like conjoined twins, so now being in this big house without Xavier will surely make her feel lonely. Of course, there is baby Aubrey, aunt Jane, and others but no one can replace Xavier's presence. If sometimes Xavier worked for more time, Bella would go and stay with him in the office by bringing baby Aubrey just to stay with Xavier. she grew that close to both Xavier and baby Aubrey. So, she can't will himself to let go of me now.

"I'll miss you, Xavier," Bella mumbles looking at Xavier with big round eyes and pouty lips.

"I'll miss you too, honey. But I have to go to the company." Xavier responded while gently caressing his cheek.

"I know and that's why I'm sad," Bella says with a sigh.

Seeing his wife being sad and almost on the verge of crying, Xavier thinks of an idea.

"Um..how about you tag along with me to the company for today?" Xavier suggests with a smile, earning attention from type.

Bella smiles at the idea but soon that fades away making Xavier frown.

"You don't want to?" Xavier asks if Bella doesn't want to go with him.

"No, I do want to go. But I'm scared to leave Aubrey at home." Bella puts out her fear.

The thing she's really scared of isn't about baby Aubrey because if she goes she'll take her with him. But her actual fear is that today she'll go but what about tomorrow? However, as soon as that thought occurred she shook her head. Work is important to Xavier, for them to live happily. She can't stop Xavier from going to work but if she says what's bothering her, Xavier might end up working from home again. She doesn't want to impose another burden on Xavier as working from home doesn't seem that easy. she thinks for a few days she'll be lonely but will get habituated in no time. So, instead of saying about all this she just lied about being worried about leaving baby Aubrey.

"She'll be going with us," Xavier replies in a duh tone while playing with baby Xavier's hands who just giggles at her father.

"It's all fine then. I'll change my clothes and change Aubrey's as well, also I'll ask aunt Jane to prepare a bag for Aubrey with all her essentials." Bella eagerly says and gets up hurriedly that she losses a little balance.

However, before she could fall and hit the floor along with baby Aubrey, Xavier catches her immediately. Xavier's face has a worried expression while Bella gives him a sorry smile as Xavier helps her to stand properly.

"Be careful, honey," Xavier tells Bella with a sigh.

"Mhm, sorry. I'll be careful." Xavier nods at Bella.

"I'll call aunt Jane and ask her to pack Aubrey's bag. Also, I'll get her ready while you go and dress up." Xavier suggests taking Aubrey from Bella.

Nodding at Xavier, Bella walks to the closet and gets ready. she wears blue formal pants, and a white tee with a blue casual cotton blazer to match with that her pants. She styles her hair a little to make it look good as she won't even bother about it when being at home. Lastly, she puts on white shoes to complete her outfit and takes a last look in the mirror, nodding at herself in approval before heading to Xavier. By the time she walks out, Xavier already finished dressing Aubrey in a gray cotton dress that feels soft against her body and makes feel her comfortable. Bella sees the essentials bag already packed and puts it on the table.

"I'm ready." Bella states after walking to Xavier and standing in front of him.

Looking up at his wife Xavier opens his eyes wide as he sees how great Bella looks. It's not a new look because when Bella used to work, this is how she used to dress up every day. It's a look he had seen numerous times but it's being so long since Bella didn't attend office anymore so he's seeing her in office clothes after many months she's taken away by Bella's beauty.

"You're looking beautiful, honey." Xavier

complements while standing up with a sleeping Aubrey.

That makes Bella blush and she immediately looks down at her feet which makes Xavier chuckle.

"Thank you." Bella thanked her husband, finally looking up at him, "you look handsome too."

Xavier grins when Bella complements him. He wore a black suit with matching dress shoes and styled his hair perfectly. He wouldn't do anything to look imperfect while going to the office because as the CEO and the owner of the business, he has to look at his best.

"Let's go," Xavier says to which Bella nods at him and they leave the room.

While Xavier carries baby Aubrey, Bella brings the bag with her and they head down. Walking out of the house after informing aunt Jane, they get in the car. Bella goes in first to whom Xavier gently hands baby Aubrey and then he too climbs in and the driver drives them to the office.

Reaching the office, they hop down the car as the driver opens the door for them and Xavier leads Bella into the office building while the driver carries the essentials bag with her. Bella gazes at the building with awe, it's so huge and tall that he has to bring up his face to watch it fully. Smiling at Bella's utterly surprising face, Xavier urges him inside while placing a hand on the small of Bella's back. Coming out of his trance, Bella starts walking alongside Xavier.

Upon entering, Bella stares at the office with wide eyes. Just everything about Xavier and his property is amusing her from time to time.

Not only does she watch the office but she also sees how the employees are, very nearly dressed, looking decent, and very professional. They live up to Xavier's level, following his lead. Bella does not just see how they appear but she also sees how they're eyeing her husband, both males, and females. Everyone is looking at Xavier with hearty eyes, some of which show admiration, some have flirtatious looks while some are lusting over their husband right in front of them. But none of them seems surprised by seeing her, it's like a very routine thing for them to see him in Xavier's office.

While Bella takes all this in mind, Xavier leads her to the elevator and directly to the tenth floor where his office is located. When they finally reach the floor, they step out and Xavier leads Bella to his office. The whole floor is designed for Xavier, it has his office and a small cabin where his secretary works. Xavier nods at his secretary with a smile when she greets him good morning and when they enter, their eyes widen as they take in the situation of Mew's office room.
