A dreadful silence surrounds they hear the words which they never once thought of, that their daughter is no longer alive. She's no more.

Bella's mother, Mrs.Selena kneel down in tears Mrs. Aom sits down beside her and drapes her hand around her shoulder as she holds her while she is crying out at the loss of her daughter-in-law. Bella is not just Mrs.Selena's daughter, but even More than a daughter-in-law.

While the mother cries on the floor, Mr. David slumps onto the wall, almost losing his balance. Mr. David is gazing at nothing in specific as a single tear flow down his cheek. His daughter is no more? She's not alive? How does he even react to something like this? Never in his life did he think, that a day like this would come and he would experience it.

"David and Selena, please calm down. I understand that it's all hard to digest but pull yourselves together. Think about Xavier " Doctor Jack tries to control them.

Xavier loves Bella more than anything in life and when he had to learn that he lost his wife, and mate, he'll break down and Xavier would be unstoppable. And him being in his current state, it's not at all good for him to know about Bella. They already lost one of their loved ones. and they don't want to lose another.

"What do we do now? We can't let anything happen to Xavier." the mother asks her husband, who also heard of the doctor's words.

"I don't know. The first thing he would ask after waking up is the Bella and if we can't show him, I don't know what he'll do." Mr. David replies to his wife's question.

"We should find a way to keep this a secret from him." Mr. Benz mumbles making others nod at him.

"I can help you if you would like my idea." Doctor Jack, who heard the whole conversation interjects himself.

"Really? How can you help us?" Mrs. Aom queries him.

"Please follow me." Doctor Jack motions to them as he walks to the other side of the hallway.

The four of them exchange glances before they follow him. He leads them to the other emergency section of the hospital and stops in from of a door. He looks back at them once before he finally opens the door and steps in, with them following his lead. Their eyes widen seeing the figure lying on the bed with wires attached and the heartbeat still sounding in the room, very faint but it's still there.

"Bella." Mrs. Selena calls out as she moves forward and gazes at her daughter with teary eyes.

"She's not Bella." The doctor says to them, shocking.

They're already confused after seeing Bella as to why the doctor would say Bella died when she's still alive.

"What do you mean she does not Bella? She is my daughter Bella. Look at her face she is my daughter. I know because I see her too grow. How can you say she is not my Bella? I can smell her pheromones she is Bella. Jack" Mr. Benz asks while fondly looking at the Girl on the bed.

"I understand David but She is not Bella. Xavier and Bella's car got bumped into another one. There was a driver and a passenger in the car. This Girl here was the passenger. Her ID shows that her name is Elena." The doctor states confusing them even more and they look at him exactly with those confused faces.

"Let's talk in my cabin, we shouldn't disturb her." He tells them that once When they reach the cabin, they all take seats, and doctor Jack starts explaining to them.

"I know whatever I'm going to talk about now may not be believable to you but at least listen to me. The Girl I showed you now is not Bella, her name is Elena and is 26 years old, the same as Bella. She doesn't mate yet. her Pheromones level is the same as Bella's. I got this information from his ID. When Xavier and Bella were brought here, along with them the driver and this Girl were brought here as well. I was astonished to see her as she looks the same, as Bella. I don't know how something like this would happen. For two people to look exactly alike they have to be twins in any normal scenario. But these two without having any connection or whatsoever and looking like replicas of each other are shocking. Most shocking is that She is also Xavier's mate"

Everyone is shocked how can Xavier have two mates?

"What is it that you thought of?" Mr. Benz asks him about his idea.

"We can swap them." He puts forth his thought earning gasps from the others.

"What?" Mrs. Aom calls out, having hard bioprocessing everything that's going on.

"I know it's not the right thing and even more ridiculous to even think, but it's the only thing I came up with. If you guys agree to this." He assures them.

"But what about her family? First of all, will she even agree to this?" Mrs. Selena queries him.

"Regarding that, she lost her memory because of the effect of the accident. She doesn't remember anything. She'll believe what we say. And about her family think she doesn't have one. Her parent's name on her ID is empty, nothing is written over there. Even when we went through her contacts to call her family, we found very few contacts all of which are work-related. There's only one contact called Alice who is saved in an emergency. We did call her and informed her about this, she would be here. But as she seems like she doesn't have anyone, we can just tell her she died." The doctor suggests even knowing it's wrong to lie to the patient's family or friends in Elena's case.

"We can't do that." Mr. David disagrees immediately,

"We can't lie to her side of people. Whether she has a family or not, whether the lady you contacted is her family or friend, we don't know that. We'll wait until she arrives and talk to her about this. After her acceptance only we'll take another step, but we're not going to lie to her or keep this a secret from her."

"But what if she doesn't agree to this?" Doctor Jack says with concern.

"We'll talk to her. We'll make her understand the situation and even then if she doesn't agree, we'll plead with her. We'll try everything and even then if she doesn't agree, then let's just accept our fate. But in any case, as David said we're not going to lie to her." Mr. Benz puts out his point.

"If she agrees to us, we would like to cremate and hold a funeral for Bella, even if it's just us four we would like to do it by ourselves. We don't want it to be done like she's an alone person without a family when she has all of us." Mrs. Selena says, her voice breaking as she speaks.

"Doctor, patient Elena's attendant is here." A nurse knocks on the door and opens the door to inform doctor tee about their arrival of Alice.

"Send her in here." He tells the nurse who nods at him and goes back.

A few minutes later, the door gets open again and this time along with the nurse, a lady enters the room. The nurse motions the lady towards the doctor and she walks before watching everyone in the room wearily. The nurse leaves and closes the door behind and silence surrounds the room. It's all quiet until doctor Jack finally decides to speak out.

"Please have a seat, Ms. Alice." Doctor Jack signals her to sit at the chair that's arranged opposite his chair.

"How is Elena? She's fine, isn't she?" She questions him unable to keep in anymore.

Her heart almost dropped when she received the call from the hospital informing her about Elena's accident. Not wasting a single second she hurriedly made her way here. And the first thing the nurse told her when she arrived here is to go and meet the head doctor.

"About that, we called you here to talk about her." He starts before taking a glance at the parents who sat on the other side of the room. His words make her feel nervous.

"What are you to her? Her family?" He puts forth the question of even knowing Elena's an orphan because he just wants to be sure.

"No, I'm not her family member. I'm her friend and work colleague." She replies honestly.

"What about her family then? We couldn't find contacts for her family, that's the reason why we called you. Do you know or have contacts of her family?" He queries because she said she's not her family but didn't say she has one or not.

"She doesn't have a family, she's an orphan. I can't even contact them if you want any information about her because she's not from this pack. A few months ago, she moved into her pack. She didn't tell me much about her. All I know is she's an orphan." She tells doctor jack, revealing everything she knows, "why are you asking all these questions? Is anything serious with her?"

"No, nothing serious. She did get several injuries but isn't that severe. However, because she got hardly hurt on her head that she lost his memory." The doctor says, she felt relief when he said Elena is fine but it vanished immediately when he further talked about Elena's condition.

"She lost her memory? She won't remember anything now?" She asks him worriedly.

"The chances are high, she might not remember anything not even name me for that matter." He states before continuing, "unfortunately, she lost her baby."

"W-what? The baby, she lost her baby?" She is stunned to hear doctor Jack, one after the other giving her shocking news.

Just thinking about Elena is making her almost lose her breath. She won't know what will happen to Elena when she learns about her baby. First, she doesn't have a family, she told her the baby's father abducted her, and now she met with an accident which not only made her lose her memory but also her baby. How would Elena take all these?

"Yes." He confirms and takes a second before he finally speaks about what he wanted to talk to her about, "there's something we would like to talk to you about, we need your help with something. They're the family of the other people who got hurt in the same accident." Doctor Jack says showing Xavier and Bella's parents to meet.

Alice looks at them warily and turns back to doctor jack.

"Their son's mew and Bella are married and just like Elena, Bella was pregnant. Unfortunately, she died in the accident but the baby is safe. Her husband Xavier is out of danger but he's injured severally." He states and Alice looks at him confused thinking why he's telling her about their condition. She doesn't even know them to begin with, "The help we want from you is to let Elena pretend as Bella and be with him as his wife."

"I don't understand what you're saying," Alice says not understanding what the doctor is saying.

"It's shocking but Elena and Bella look alike, like twin sisters. As said Bella is no more now. To Xavier, Bella is everything. We're scared that if he gets to know about Bella's death, it would affect him. His condition might get worse. They already lost one child, and they don't want anything to happen to me. Elena is their mate of Xavier. If you agree and help us, we will show Elena as Bella to him. As Elena lost her memory, she wouldn't remember her past. It wouldn't be hard to convince her that his Bella. That way we can at least save Xavier. He is the Alpha of our pack. You already know we want an Alpha for our pack's safety and peace" Doctor Jack tells Alice.

"What would Elena get from it? What would happen when her memory returns and she remembers everything? What would happen to her then?" She calls

What would she get from acting like someone that she isn't? And when her memory returns what would happen to her?

"Madam, don't get angry, listen to us first. We don't know when her memory would be back. It might take a month or a year or it might never return. We can't guarantee that. She lost her baby but as she carried the baby for all these months, it registers in her subconscious. There are chances for her to ask about her baby. And what would you tell her then? That she lost her child and that the baby died even before being born? We're not asking for this help only for us. Sure, it benefits us but it's equally beneficial to Elena as well. If she learns that her baby died it would break her heart. But if you agree to this, we'll show Bella's baby as her. She'll not know about her baby's death unless someone tells her. Please, try to understand our concern." Doctor Jack explains, desperate for her to accept this deal and help them.

She remembers how she used to talk about the baby all day long and how she told her that she plans once the baby is born. But now the baby is no more and just the thought of what would happen to Elena when she learns about it is making her worry. If she thinks this way, what the doctor proposed sounds right. It won't just save their son but it saves Elena as well.

"Please don't be obliged to do this. This is just our proposal, we're not forcing you to accept this immediately. We just want to save our child, we already lost one and we don't want to lose another. When doctor Jack told us about this, we saw it as a chance to save our son. At the same time, your friend would be befitted. It's a win-win situation for both of us. you do not necessarily need to agree with us or accept our proposal. Take some time to think and agree to help us only when you feel it's right, not for us but your friend." Mrs. Selena states with a small smile, giving the whole power to Alice.

"I made my decision." Alice whispers, she didn't take time. It's like she already knows what's right to do.

Others nervously wait for her decision.
