Xavier, Bella, and their baby girl get discharged from the hospital as everyone's condition is stable now.
"Take the medicines timely as I prescribed them and if any of you feel any problem, call me immediately. I hope you both have a safe recovery and the baby won't have any troubles growing up." Doctor Jack wishes Xavier and Bella to leave the hospital with their baby.
"Thank you Jack for taking care of them well and arranging everything that they needed when they were here." Mr. Benz says making others nod at him in agreement.
"Oh, come on, as a doctor, it's my responsibility to look after them. And us being friends made me feel even more responsible towards them. I'm happy they're finally good now." Doctor Jack states as he walks them out of the hospital.
Xavier helps Bella to sit in the car and he sits next to her. Mrs.Rodriguze holds the baby and gets in the other car along with the other members. In two different cars, they all start the drive to their home. Twenty minutes later, the driver stops, and one after the other they all get down the cars. Xavier helps the type climb out after opening the door and when Bella sees the house in front of her eyes, she almost faints. Is this even a house? It's more like a mansion. She thinks while looking at the mansion house in awe.
"What happened?" Xavier asks Bella with a concerned look in his eyes as Bella stares at the house.
"I-is this where I used to live?" Bella queries making Xavier smile while their parents who are standing next to them have a sad smiles on their faces.
"Yes, this is our house. You used to live here and will live here forever." Xavier replies making Bella glance.
"You call this house? It's a mansion, though. I don't think I lived in such a great place." Bella mumbles in awe.
"We lived here for a year," Xavier said to Bella.
Bella looked at Xavier in confusion because she feels she never lived in such a big house.
"Honey, you might not remember but you were the one who choose this place out of many houses we were offered to choose from," Xavier says with a chuckle, and Bella's cheeks heat up at the endearment name Xavier has called her.
Not knowing how to respond to that, Bella just nods at me and they all walk into the house. If Bella thought the outside of the house gives mansion looks, the interior is even more breathtaking. It's royalty. Bella couldn't take her eyes off the house as she walks into the house. It's so lavish that Bella stares at it as if it's a wonder. The cream-white walls, the big windows that are decorated with baby blue curtains, two sets of the couch on either side of the big living room, and the parted stairs which lead upstairs.
As she gets awe stuck by seeing the house, her movements become slow. Xavier helps her to walk toward the elevator. And when Bella realizes where she's going, her eyes go wide and stare at the elevator without blinking. Elevator inside the house? She can't even seem to process things. She gazes at Xavier in confusion.
"Get in, our room is upstairs," Xavier says while holding her waist.
Bella just follows and gets in followed by Xavier and their parents. The elevator is so big that it fits every one of them and still, there's some room left. Going up, they step out of the elevator and Xavier leads Bella to their bedroom. Bella fumbles and lets out a big gasp when she steps into the room.
"What's wrong?" Xavier asks her worriedly.
"I-I think I'm at wrong the place," Bella mumbles watching the room.
This room can easily become a house for a family of four, it's that big. A huge king-size bed is laid in the middle of the room, a tea table and two sets of chairs by the window, and a big couch on the other side of the room. There are two other doors connected to the room. One of which is a bathroom and the other one Bella had no idea of. On the other end, there's a huge glass door that might lead to the balcony.
The whole room is decorated with so many of their pictures but the one that caught Bella's attention is the one placed on the wall above the bed and is on display to anyone who steps into the room. It's a wedding photo where Xavier is dressed in a black and white suit and Bella wearing a White gown and hugging each other with a smile that can't be measured by the world's happiness. While Xavier has his hands on Bella's waist, Bella wrapped his hands around Xavier's neck as they had their foreheads together and are smiling at each other. Their happiness is so evident that Bella can see it even in the photo.
Though she's seeing herself, it doesn't feel like herself. To her, it feels like she's seeing another person who isn't her. However she thinks, this doesn't look like the place where she lived. She did forget her memory but her conscious and gut feeling say otherwise.
"You need to rest, Honey. And stop saying this isn't where you used to be." Xavier sighs bringing out Bella from her thoughts.
"Yes, Bella. Take rest for some time, I'll tell the cook to prepare food for you." Mrs. Selana says as fear enters her mind that maybe Elena is remembering her past and that's why she keeps saying it's not her place.
After her saying that Mrs. Rodriguez walks to the cradle placed in the room and puts the baby in it who is asleep. Telling them to rest, the parents leave the room and Xavier helps Bella by leading her to the bed and making her sit on it. Sitting next to Bella, Xavier stares at her with so much love that Bella could feel the stare even though she's not looking at him. When Bella feels she can no longer take those stares, she turns to him.
"What?" Bella questions Xavier while placing her hand on her face to check if she has anything on her.
"I missed you, Honey," Xavier whispers before hugging Bella so gently.
Bella gets startled by the touch of Xavier. Xavier looked at her in confusion.
Bella gets shocked by Xavier's words, confused as well, as to why Xavier said he missed her when all these while they have been together. Even in the hospital, they stayed in the same room and slept on the same bed. So why would Xavier say he missed her?
"But I have been with you all the same," Bella replies wearily.
"I know but still missed you, don't know why," Xavier mumbles nuzzling Bella's neck and sniffing her fragrance. which smells like something different but he ignores it he is happy that Bella is with him.
"I-I missed you, too." Bella shutters while slowly bringing her hands and wrapping them around Xavier.
Honestly, she won't know if he misses him or not because she doesn't remember everything, unlike Xavier. But when Xavier said he missed her, Bella's heart skipped a beat and she just wanted to say the same things to him. She doesn't know what's happening to her, one minute he seems like a stranger to her and in the next minute, her heart beats rapidly for him. She wishes her memory would be back as early as possible so that everything would be clear to her as well.
Pulling away Xavier smiles at Bella whose cheeks turn red as she blushes just by seeing Xavier.
"Can I ask you something?" Bella asks Xavier a minute later.
"Of course, you don't need permission," Xavier states holding Bella's hand.
"Why do you keep calling me H-Honey?" Bella queries with a blush on her face.
"Because I like calling you that. I know you never liked that endearment name but I thought it was fine. But if it's still bothering you I'll stop and never call you a Honey." Xavier replies to which Bella immediately shakes her head.
"I-I like it," Bella says with a shy smile.
Not that she didn't like when Xavier called her honey because she loved it. Though it was only for a few times within these few days, Bella loved when Xavier called her a baby. Her heart skipped a beat and made her feel like butterflies in her tummy. As Xavier said even if she never liked it in the past, she's loving it now.
"If you like it, then I'll continue to call you," Xavier leans in and places a soft kiss on Bella's forehead, "Honey"
And yet again Bella becomes a blushing mess and Xavier chuckles at his wife who's no different from looking like a ripened tomato.
He leans close to Bella's face and kissed her cheek. Bella looked up at Xavier. Xavier smiled at her.
"Now Rest you must be tried," Xavier says to Bella.
Bella nodded.
