CHAPTER 4

“So you’re not mad at me?

Kent added to ask Jezz.

“What? I am not mad at you, I’m just disgusted with you.”

Jezz answered directly to the point to clarify what she really felt.

Then later on, Jezz smelled delicious cooking in the kitchen, then suddenly, there was a bad sound of boiling in her stomach.

"Oh you were hungry too,

Zero, please do it fast!"

Kent shouted, Because he heard a bad sound from her stomach as they were in the same feeling of being hungry. 20 seconds after, Zero called them to come in the kitchen. When the food he was cooked was ready, the three quickly ate.

"Eat it slowly, you might choke

Kent advises Jezz.

"Hermp! I'm fine, it is so delicious”

Jezz replied.

"Really? I like to cook delicious food today. I'd be happy if you stayed for a while and helped me to cook"

Kent said.

“I think a playboy like you doesn’t need my help”

Jezz replied to Kent.

“A playboy? No I’m not, I am just a serious guy who can easily fall in love. And besides, I did your research project and you have to pay for the time I spend on it”.

Kent said, so Jezz looked at Zero. He was silent at that time, no reactions at all because his mouth was full of food he ate but, he smiled like crazy as a sign that he was teasing Jezz.

“All right, but not now. I will let you know when I’m free”.

Jezz replied to Kent. Kent heard Jezz and he understood it so he no longer spoke and continued to eat.

After they ate, Jezz didn’t stay long. She needed to leave and say goodbye to the two so that she would not go late.

“Please text me if you need anything, okay? I will be going home later. We have something to talk about while, resting for a while now."

Zero said when he delivered Jezz outside of Kent’s house.

“Okay once again, thank you and please tell Kent

Jezz replied with a soft voice.

“Okay see you.

Zero replied and gave a kiss to her forehead.

The kiss was so meaningful for Jezz, her mind flew, accompanying the one question she had “can you be mine?”. Like a garden that was filled with flowers, her heart was full of joy she felt at that time, even for a moment, she had experienced it and that was enough for her.

When Zero sees a jeep which is traveling and vice versa going to her home. Zero raised her left hand as a sign to stop the jeep. Then he turned and left Jezz outside of the gate. Zero thought that Jezz was on board, but no, she returned to the side of the road to wait for another jeep because the first one was full of passengers. Jezz didn’t want to ride to a jeep with a full passenger.

While Jezz was standing on the other side of the road, a girl suddenly appeared in front of her and asked a question.

“Hi, my name is Isabelle, Kent’s friend. Is he up there?

The woman said directly to Jezz. She is very beautiful, tall and small in stature, she has a pretty smile as she speaks with a resemblance to a famous Filipina actress named Angel Locsin. Jezz notices that, they are studying in the same school because they are both wearing the same school uniform at that time.

“Yes, I just left and he is in the living room with Zero".

Jezz comfortably replied because she thinks that Kent knew the girl who is currently talking to her.

"Okay, Actually I’ve been watching you for a while, because I saw you with someone here. I’m just ashamed to come right away”

The girl said.

"Ahh it's fine! The time will be going late, and the temperature here is hot, it's better for you if you go inside." Jezz said.

“Maybe I will just knock at the door when I get inside. Thank you anyway.”

The girl replied

Jezz was amazed at how beautiful she was and wondered if Kent was really her friend. She lost her mind in no time, but she ignored it because it was necessary to be able to leave that house immediately.

While standing for a moment, there was something that came back to her mind. That was the face of the girl named Issabelle, and those smiles of Zero and Kent.

“How does so Kent know that girl?” she asks herself surrounded by a strong feeling.

Because of the uncomfortable feeling that she has, she deliberately took a walk to go back inside to Kent’s house and peek out from the window to see what they were doing. She didn’t know what would come to her mind then, as long as that was her hunch, as she wanted to do.

As she saw from the window, there was no one in the living room, as she remembered, she left Zero and Kent sitting on the sofa while watching the TV show. Since she couldn’t see Zero, she tried to enter Kent’s house again, to make sure that Zero was okay.

As soon as she got inside, she heard the conversation between Kent and Zero, including a woman’s voice. she searched for it until she could see where the three of them had a small conversation as of the moment. She reached the second floor of the house.

On the second floor there are two bedrooms. She tried to open the first door but it was locked, then she tried to check the second one, and the door was slightly open. When she got closer, she slowly pushed it in a little bit so she had a chance to peek at what was inside the second room.

Unexpectedly, it was like the whole world had suddenly collapsed because of what she witnessed at that time. She saw Zero kissing Kent.

Their kisses are like candy with strawberry flavor, sweet and smooth, their pinky lips swallowed and played by the tongue inside of the mouth. At that moment, she also saw that there was a little bit of white powder on a piece of white paper and one silver stick, placed on a small table inside that room.

While Zero and Kent continued their kissing, a girl appeared in front of the two of them, wearing a thin and colored white dress that almost overlooked the whole charm of her entire body. She sat down and gently kissed Zero, while Kent continued his kiss to the upper part of her left arm and then slowly went to the neck of that girl. The girl was the one who talked to Jezz earlier from the outside of the house, named Issabelle.

Later on, Kent’s right hand was slowly going to touch and brush the black and long hair of the girl using his fingers. Then Zero removes his T-shirt and throws it behind him, then catching to bite against the lips of the woman, he does it with thirst, at the same time, he manages to grab something in the front part of the body of the girl. They look so hot in their position, playing a fire with two men.

Jezz was like a fool while watching them in that position. She could not accept it and it really hurt her by what she saw at that time. She turned and took her walk slowly as tears flowed in her eyes, then left the doors open so that they wouldn’t recognize that someone else had seen them. And the truth is, Jezz couldn’t bear to watch them in that situation.

The whole night was painful for Jezz, She's unable to hold back her true feelings, tears flow, because for the first time, her heart was broken.

Next morning, Jezz intended to leave home early so her parents would not see her swelling eyes.

During the class, Jezz received a text message from an unknown number saying:

“Hello, this is Kent. I want to meet you tonight if it is okay?

She immediately deleted his text message, because of what she saw last night between him and Zero is still fresh in her mind. She feels like Zero left her alone. She can’t say how it feels, while half of her thoughts are apprehensive and she doesn’t want to be like or do what they did.

“Jezz, are you okay?"

Clara asks Jezz.

Clara notices that Jezz, is quiet since the class was started and she hasn’t talked to her yet. She also sees that Jezz eyes are swollen as she likes crying a lot for the whole night

“yes! I’m okay”

Jezz answered. Then Clara just nodded even though she wasn’t convinced of her answer.
