Lily sits with her parents and finishes her breakfast. Her parents were still thinking about what to be done. They were more tensed because their landlord did not like pets and she was a very rude person. So, Lily's parents were a bit scared of how their landlord would react after seeing the cats at home. Their landlord was very rude and a person who used to always fight with everyone. She would never talk calmly or sweetly to anyone. Her own family members used to hate her. Their landlord used to stay in the first floor and Lily's and her family were staying in the ground floor. She always wanted the house to be clean. So most of the time suddenly she would come to the house and sit inside the house and to talk to Lily's parents but actual aim was to check if the house was maintained well. She used to look around the house and check if the house was clean or not. After the breakfast was done. Lily's father Max says, "I will go out and ask with the neighbours about the cat. I will try to find out whose cat is that. I'll be back soon. ", Said Lily's father Max and went out of the house. Lily's mother was busy in her household work. Lily knew that for a long time the kittens and the cat wouldn't be with her. So, she decides to spend some good time with them for the last time. She thought that her father would find out whose cat is that and the cats will be sent back soon. Lily thought of playing with the cats and she goes inside the bedroom and she peeps under the bed. When she sees she could see only the two kittens but she was unable to see the big cat. She once again turnes on the torch and checks properly with the help of the torch. She tries looking all around and under the bed but she did not find the cat. There were only kittens. Lily runs all over the house in order to search the cat but unfortunately she doesn't find the cat at all. "Mom! Mom! Mom!", Lily calls her mother continuously as she was tensed. Lily's mother Shelly comes from the kitchen and asks her what happened. "Lily why are you screaming like this? What's the matter?" "Mom, When I came here and looked for the cat I did not find the cat. The cat is not there only kittens are under the bed.", says Lily. "What? what are you saying? Really? Where did the cat go? Oh my god! How do we find the cat now? Your father has gone to find out whose cat is that. If he comes to know who's cat is that and if the owner comes along with your father to take the cat, what do we answer? ", said Lily's mother Shelly. "Oh my God! We did a big mistake last night. We shouldn't have let the cat inside because of all that we are facing this now. ", said Lily's mother and went to the kitchen. Lily was panicking. She goes out of the house in search of the cat. But she failes to find the cat. Lily starts crying. She feels helpless and tired. She feels guilty for leaving the cat alone and not keeping an eye on it. She blames herself that because of her carelessness the cat went missing. Even though Lily searched for the cat everywhere she fails to find it and with a huge disappointment she goes back home. She Goes back home and looks under the bed and tries taking out the kittens from there because she was unable to look at them properly as it was under the bed. Under the bed there was a cloth on which the kittens were sleeping. Lily slowly goes under the bed and pulls out the cloth with the kitten. When she takes the kittens out she sees that the kittens were very cute. They were very tiny. Their eyes were closed since they were not even a day old. They were cute tiny kittens waiting for their mother to come back. Lily was feeling very bad looking at the kittens. Lily fell in love with the kitten as soon as she saw them. The kittens were white in colour but their tails were black. That was unique combination and she loved it. The entire body of the cats were white and only the tales were black and it was very cute to see. As Lily was looking at the kittens and adoring them, her father came back home. When she heard her father's footsteps she thought that probably he was going to take away the kittens. And Lily's mother was worried about what answer to be given to the cat's owner if they ask where the big cat was. As Lily's father was back Lily and her mother goes to him in order to ask him what was the update. "What happened? Did you find the owner of the cat? Did you get any update? ", asked Lilys mother to Lily's father. "No, unfortunately I was unable to find any evidence or any information regarding the cats owner. I tried my best and tried asking to everyone around but they never saw any cat with that colour here. Nobody has an idea about whose cat that is and from where it might have come from. ", he said. "Oh is it? Alright. I have to tell you something. One more problem has occurred now. ", said Lily's mother. "What is the problem?", asked Lily's father Max. "Actually, After you went out in search of the cats owner we saw that the cat was not at home. Lily went out and tried her best to search for the cat but she was unable to find the cat. Now we do not know where the cat is but the kittens are at home.", said Lily's mother Shelly. "Oh! is it? What can we do now? I think instead of panicking the best thing that we can do right now is wait. Let's wait for the cat. Why would the cat leave its newborn kittens and go somewhere else? I think the cat would definitely come back in search of her kittens, so let's wait. By tonight the cat might come back because no mother will leave her child alone and run away right? ", said Lily's father with confidence. Lily and her mother had also got confidence after hearing his words. They all were relived that by the end of the day the cat would come back. "Lily, how did the cat go out?", asked Lily's father Max. "I don't know dad, I am also thinking the same how the cat might have gone out. ", replied Lily. When Lily looked around she noticed that the window of their bedroom was open. "Dad, look at that the window is open. I think the cat went out from the window. ", said Lily. "Oh! Yes you are right.", said Lily's father Max. "I should have closed the window. ", said Lily. "No Lily, we can't do that. We can't keep the cat inside the whole time. They need to go out too.", said Lily's father Max. "No dad, not necessarily. Most of the pet cats are indoor cats. They be happy inside the house itself.", says Lily. "Lily, how do you know if this cat is a indoor cat or not?", says Lily's mother Shelly. Lily keeps quiet. Then Lily says, "I do not know about this cat but I have seen many indoor cats. With reference to that I was saying.", said Lily. "Oh! Okay fine.", replied Lily's mother Shey. As they were sitting and talking they heard that the kittens were crying.
