Elara's Point of View
I was so pissed. I couldn't believe they had the nerve to call me a w***e. They didn't know me. I tried my best to leave without hurting anyone but Chloe Day deserved to get smacked. She deserved much more than that. Now I needed to figure out what else to do. I needed a job and fast.
My cell started going off and I took it out of my pocket. I sighed when I saw it was Clara's school calling. "Hello."
"Hello, is this Elara Gray?" A lady on the other end asked
"Yes, how can I help you?" I asked
"I need you to come to the school. Clara has gotten into it with another student. The principal needs to talk to you in person."
"Okay, I will be there soon," I said, and I ended the call. I got into my car and made my way to the school. As I drove, I wondered what Clara might have done. She had an attitude like mine. We both didn't take any s**t from anyone. Hopefully, she didn't do anything too bad. I don't need the state to think I couldn't control her attitude. Once I was there, I parked and headed inside. I went to the front office and walked up to the lady at the front desk
"Hello, I got a call about my sister, Clara," I said
"Yes, the principal is waiting for you. I will get a hold of him and he should be up here shortly. You can have a seat."
"Thank you," I said and then I took a seat. A moment later, the principal, Mr. Green came.
"Hello, Ms. Gray. Please come t o my office so we can have a talk," Mr. Green said. I got up and followed him to his office. Clara was there sitting. I walked over to where she was and took a seat next to her.
"I called you because Clara got into it with one of the other students. She ended up punching her in the nose. We at Greenbriar Academy do not tolerate fighting so Clara will be suspended for five days."
"That is not fair. I get into trouble but Samantha doesn't," Clara said
"She didn't hit anyone so there is no reason for her to get into any trouble," Principal Green replied
"I am so sorry for what happened today. I will talk to Clara," I said
"I hope you do because if this happens again I will have to choice but to expel her," Principal Green said
"That will be unnecessary. Let's go Clara," I said and we headed to my car.
"Why would you hit someone, Clara? You can't do that," I said
"Samantha has been talking s**t every day. I am tired of it. She talks about how I don't have a mom or a dad and how we are poor. Everyone knows that she talks s**t. Not just to me but to other students but because her family has money and donates to the school she gets away with it," Clara said. I understood her. It wasn't fair that people with money got away with anything. I mean I basically did the same thing she did to Chloe but I wasn't going to tell her that.
"Clara, I get what you are ssaying. It isn't fair but you can't go around hitting people. you know the state is watching us. I don't want to give them a reason to take you away," I said
"I know. I am sorry. I just got so upset. I won't do it again," Clara said
"Thanks, Clara. Let's head home," I said and I started the car and drove home. As soon as I walked inside my phone started to ring. I looked at the screen to see a number I didn't know. "Hello," I said
"Hello, May I speak to Elara Gray?" A man said on the other end
"This is her," I replied
"Hello, Ms. Gray. This is Mark Day calling. I wanted to let you know that we wanted to offer you the job as Chloe's assistant," Mr. Day said.
"What?" I said shocked
"Yes, we wanted to apologize for what happened earlier and would like to offer you the job," Mark said. I really wanted to take the job. It was a good paying job, and I really needed it, but then I thought about what happened earlier. How Chloe Day called me a w***e and Mr. Black agreed with her. Just thinking about that made me angry.
"Thanks but I don't want it. I would never work for a person like Ms. Day or Mr. Black," I said
"Ms. Gray, I know you are upset about what happened earlier, and you have ever right to be but I am asking you to reconsider. This is a great opportunity for you" Mr. Day replied. I knew he was righ,t but that wasn't going to change my mind.
"Thank you, Mr. Day, but you can tell both Mr. Black and Ms. Day that they can shove that job offer up their ass," I said and then I hung up. I knew I should take the offer, but I didn't care. I meant it when I said I would never work at Black INC.

Kyle's Point of View
I was furious as I listened in on Elara's answer.
"She didn't accept the offer. She said you can..."
"I heard what she said," I growled, causing Mark to become silent.
How could she say no? I already had one of my men do a check on her. I knew everything about her now. She didn't know her father, and her mom left her to take care of her little sister. She needed a job to keep custody of her sister, Clara. Her grandmother left her a home, but she still had bills. You would think she would have taken the job.
I became heated when I thought about how Chloe called her a w***e, and I basically acted like I believed her.
"This is my fault, and I need to make it right," I said
"It looks like you care for your mate, our new Luna," Mark said
"No, she is not your Luna. I only care because she is the Awakener and she will make the pack ever stronger than it already is," I said, and Mark started to frown.
"If you say so, Alpha," Mark said, and I turned to leave.
It was time for me to go see Elara Gray.
