Selene’s pov
I looked at the man before me and looked away.
“You’re a thane,” he said again. I can feel your aura. No ordinary human or wolf has that aura.”
“You must have me confused with someone else.”
I tried walking past him as he grabbed my arm and had me struggling to get away from him.
“Let me go!” I yelled as he shook his head.
“I’m not letting you leave until you tell me what you’re doing here. Who sent you? Who are you?!”
“Elder Tomas,” a deep voice growled through the hallway as I looked ahead to see Dante with glowing eyes. “Let her go or you and I are going to have a problem.”
Tomas looked at me and then the alpha before sighing and letting me go.
I rushed to stand beside Dante who looked at me.
“Are you okay?” He asked as I nodded before he looked back at the elder
