It was always his habit to show up unannounced, mostly with the spare key he made himself without her consent.
Turning the door knob he pushed the door wide open. “Hello my beautiful friend!” Jayson enthusiastically announced his presence, still standing by the door.
But the overjoyed expression on his face was quickly over took with a horrified—disgusted expression. “What the f**k is that?” he questioned staring at the black fur ball Scarlet cuddle in her arms.
“A cat?” she half hearted answered, a bit uncertain given his expression was dramatic.
As she rocked the cat side to side in her arms causing her shirt to swerve with the moment. The cat peered up to Jayson flashing is colour eyes and stern face.
It was clear by the glare it threw at Jayson that it hadn’t welcomed the man. Maybe by the fact he had interrupted it’s lovely nap with it’s new nice owner, either way the lack of fondness fitted both sides.
Jayson glanced away from the black cat to meet his friend’s confused face. “That thing is scary, where did you get it?”
“I found it outside.” she simply shrugged running her fingers through it’s fur, earning a pleasure purr from it.
“And you brought it in?”
“I bathed and fed it too!” she gave Jayson a toothy smile feeling accomplished.
“Why?” the man questioned finally walking into the apartment, the door already shut behind him.
“It is beautiful!”
“Have you seen it?”
As a matter of fact she had and that was the reason it was in her arms to begin with.
Raising the cat in the air she studied it, then peered over to Jayson. “I mean apart from the rest in b***h face, the black fur. It is beautiful, those light brown eyes and it’s so cuddly — so yes I have seen it.” she mumbled pulling it into a hug.
Though she was all cheery, the cat in her embrace remained static—maybe a bit irritated but it didn’t move a muscle.
“It will give you fleas!” Jayson hissed.
“Really? Because I’ve had you around all this while and you don’t seem to give me any. Or you’re just good at hiding it?” she teased mimicking his facial expression — stern and unamused.
“You must think you are a comedian.” He mumbled while he walked to her couch.
He wasn’t far enough that he couldn’t have heard Scarlet whisper to the cat. “Miss grumpy, I think I found your husband Mr uptight.”
“You named it!”
“I named you, why shouldn’t I with your wife.” she giggled. Taking a seat right beside Jayson she placed the black fur ball on his lap. “And there you go.”
He completed froze at that action, something she thought she would never see — Jayson scared.
That moment was quickly short lived as the grown man yelped then immediately jumped out of his seat.
His earlier position was overtook by the cat, comfortably resting by the time Scarlet looked over.
On the far end, standing beside the couch Jayson was rubbing his pinkish flesh. “It tried to kill me!” the man whined glaring at the cat on his place.
“Just like an old married couple already.” she sang, fighting back a smirk. Her attention gone back to the TV in front of them.
But the hissing sound from beside her took her attention once more. Catching her friend’s foot held out to the cat slowly pushing it off the couch, and the cat not sitting so idly was hissing as well as had her claws out.
“What are you doing?” she laughed once she saw Jayson hiss back at the cat.
“Trying to get rid of that demon!”
This was really a start of something fun. Scarlet shook her head as she moved the cat to her side creating space for Jayson.
“Don’t mind him Miss grumpy he is just a stuck up jerk.” she spoke patting the cat’s head.
“Definitely not!” he defended as he took his seat.
Scarlet ignored it quickly changing the subject. “So what brings you here?” she didn’t want to deal with him acting like a child on a weekend.
“Can’t I visit my best of best friend unannounced?”
“Not when you shy on me plus I could have been busy you know.” she winked earning a groan from her friend, he clearly knew what busy meant for her.
“I’m just going to ignore the first part and you weren’t busy because I saw no strange car in the carpark that could possibly belong to any of the ones that take you your time.” he murmured.
His eyes stared at Scarlet for a second before he noticed the two bruises on her neck, that he wouldn’t have noticed if he had not taken the time. “Plus I already think you did the things given those two hickeys on your neck.”
They weren’t as vibrant but neither were they faded to assume she got them earlier this week. So it probably left him with a conclusion it was yesterday a Saturday, and not a Sunday morning — thankfully.
“The cat bit me!” she lied faintly smiling.
“Really?”
“Yes!”
Jayson tugged her arm, a slightly healed scratches rested on the back of her forearm — too big to be considered of a cat, given it’s claws were not that big.
“Such a feisty pussy.” he gasped teasingly.
Pulling her arm out his grip she shrugged. “It scratched me too!”
“You must have enjoyed that. I didn’t know you get to wild.” he giggled falling back on the couch.
She didn’t exactly expect what happened yesterday, it was all sort of new to them — mostly Lidia’s other side. She had given her hickeys before but not been so pleasured she dug her nails into her fresh.
She didn’t complain at all despite the pain embedded in her fresh, the pleasure couldn’t have compared — it surpassed all expectations, really.
“Shut up!” she hissed hitting Jayson on the arm but that didn’t stop him from laughing, nothing would.
Unless it was the cat. Scarlet carried the cat and slowly placed her on Jayson’s chest, the man wasted no time and jumped off the couch falling flat on the floor.
Scarlet gave the feline a high five with a smirk on her face, Jayson continuously groaned complaining about his broke bum and it took everything in her not to laugh.
“Good job Miss grumpy.”
