City of Waternana.
Xavier was pacing as he was left at a loss. He was so close to finding Alexandra yet he felt so far from finding him. ever since he heard about Alexander from the old lady he has not rested but it felt like he was standing still, he was failing miserably at locating his where about. The knock on the door stopped him from his walk to nowhere. He looked at the door of his room not saying nothing yet expecting the person to enter. In a few seconds Ellen entered the room, immediately closing it behind him. “I have been waiting for more than an hour now, where have you been?” Xavier said as he approached Ellen. Ellen was supposed to give him information about Alexandra’s whereabouts. “Ohh give me a break. You say this as if it is easy. Here, take this.” Ellen said as he handed a piece of paper to Xavier. “That is the address where you will find the love of your life. It a mansion not very far from here, it is his father’s, Abraham if I am not mistaken. And from what I have heard, he is not a very nice person. But with your father’s reputation it should be easy for you to get in, I wish you luck my friend. I know have to leave and pretend to look for you.” Ellen said as he approached the door, not giving Xavier a chance to ask any questions. The glee in Xavier could be seen by a person out in space. At last he was going to find Alexandra. After everything he has been through running away and staying in hiding, at last. He did not waste any more time, after Ellen left the building he was in he also left and headed to the direction of the address given to him. He reached the mansion in less than fifteen minutes. When he got there a huge golden gate stood before him. This was it, this was the moment he has been waiting for. He rang the bell on the huge gate and after a few second a man in a butler’s outfit appeared before him. “How may I help you young man?” the old man with white hair asked. He looked tired as if he had not slept for days. “I am here to look for someone. I am the son of Mr. Quinn.” This surprised the butler. Who could he be possibly be looking for? He had travelled so far so this must be really important. “Can you please show me to the head of this mansion or are you planning of letting me stand in this freezing cold.” Xavier said as he saw the butler drift to his own thoughts. He was not trying to act dominant but the fear in the old man’s eyes showed he took his statement otherwise. “Forgive me young master Quinn. Please follow me.” The butler said as he let Xavier in and lead the way to the main door of the huge mansion. It was not as big as Xavier’s own mansion but it was pretty big as well. They walked for a short distance before they reached the main door. “Right this way sir. Please sit while I inform the master of your arrival.” The butler said as he placed a glass of water on the table in front of Xavier and disappeared to find his master. Xavier looked around the room he was situated, his heart ponding. He could have sworn that a person could see it through his chest. While he was looking around he saw a whip hanged on the wall. It was made of fleece and it had a hint of blood on it. Fear passed his eyes wishing it did not belong to Alexandra. As he was still sited deep in thoughts, a child about 10 year of age, he guessed, suddenly ran up to him in tears. “Please help my brother.” The child said in between cries. Though Xavier did not know what he was talking about, he could still put his own one and two together. He was about to ask where he was when Abraham entered the room. “Addison, to your room. Now.” The father said with a straight face. “I am sorry about that young Quinn. That trouble maker has been wanting to eat too much sweets lately that he keeps crying over them because we took them all away from him.” Abraham lied as he gave an awkward chuckle not knowing that Xavier was aware of the boys’ cries. “What brings you here…?” “It is Xavier.” “What brings you here Xavier?” “I am looking for someone that I believe, in fact I know that he is here.” Xavier said, his deliberately words sounding threatening. He has seen that the man he was talking to was a fabricator, talking to him kindly will only make him look like a fool. “Who could that be young man? You cannot just claim that you know some random person is in my home.” The older man said as he sensed the pressure from the masculine man that sat before him. He definitely did not want to be on bad terms with any one of the Quinn’s and this man was really showing that he was already on his bad book which worried Abraham. “I am talking about your older son, Alexander.” Xavier said never leaving eye contact with the old man. The name of his nobody son coming from such a well-known man sent shivers down his spine. Could it be that he messed everything by killing Alexandra. He was not going to live if this young man found out what he did to the person he was looking for. Sweat dripped down his temples as he thought how to answer the person who stared deep in the mirror of his soul, his throat running dry. He even thought of taking a sip from the water that was given to the young man but that would give him away.
