It suddenly felt hot for Abraham and to worsen things, the man in front of him shot him daggers that pierced through his soul. Since when did these kids look so scary? The gentle features he saw on this young man’s face vanished as fast as the morning dew disappeared at the site of the sun. “I have no idea what you are talking about Mr Quinn. I…” “I am talking about the person your son Addison was telling me about. What a good boy that child of yours is.” Xavier said as he stood to his feet talking the glass of water and handing it to the older man in front of him, he looked like he needed it and if he was going to continue play games he was going to need him to still be awake. After handing him the glass of water, Xavier continued talking, “I know you know the person I am talking about and I do not really want to play games with you. So I would really appreciate it if you would tell me now before my father’s man come here.” Though Xavier did not specify why his father’s man would come here, it did seem to scare the so called father that only God knows what he had done to Alexandra. “There is no need to blow this matter out of proportion. Let us have a talk and I…” “I do not think that you understand the importance of me finding Alexandra right now Mr Abraham. Please do not waste my time and tell me where I can find him.” Xavier said trying to hide the anger boiling inside him and failing miserably. He was growing impatient with the games he was playing. “You see umm, Sir Xavier about him. I did not know he was impor…” “Will you stop beating around the bush, I know you did something to him, now tell me where he is.” “I had asked my guards to dispose his body some...” “What do you mean dispose his body?” Xavier roared, tears threatening to fall from his eyes. He did not expect that he would actually kill him. “I am not sure whether he died or not, he just passed out while he, while he was being punished an…” “Punished! What kind of father are you? Take me to him! Now!” Xavier could not stop his anger nor tears from showing. He did not want to appear weak in front of Abraham but little did he know how intimidating he seemed in front of Abrahams eyes. Xavier roared calling the guards as if he owned the mansion. “Take me to where you placed Alexandra’s body.” The guards not aware of Xavier’s status did not pay head to him but just looked at their master. Xavier unsheathed the sword that always hung to his side. “I SAID SHOW ME NOW!” if that did not scare even the maids that where eavesdropping, nothing would have. “Did you not hear the man, show him.” Abraham said in pure terror. “You!” Xavier said aiming his sword towards Abraham. “You batter pray that he is fine or else you will face my wrath.” Xavier said leaving the room with the guards following him behind boarding the horses. Abraham has heard the rumours about the young man being cold and merciless, little to say the rumours where false, he was much, much worse.
From the corner of the room, a terrified Beatrice emerged. “I thought you said that the boy and his mother were nobodies, then why is the one and only son of Mr Quinn here looking for him?” “I thought so too. I… What if he died? You know it will be the end of us right?” “Us? Do not say us. Do not involve me in your problems. I told you to sell that boy to someone else, but you refused. This is your mess, you can go ahead deal with it yourself.” Abraham did not expect his wife to be so cold towards him especially when she was the one who was responsible for this. She wanted a slave.
“Sir we dumped the body here.” One of the guards said. “Well I do not see a body here. Do you see one?” The sarcasm in Xavier’s voice was clearly not the funny kind. It was the one that told you how close you were to your death. “No one will rest until we find Alexander. Everyone start your search.” Xavier ordered. No one dared to disobey him. Even though the rain was starting to drizzle, they would rather get completely soaked than face the furry of that young master who now made his way back to his horse.
Upon reaching Abrahams mansion, he went straight to the room he left him in. Not finding him there, Xavier yelled, “Abraham!” with just one shout, the poor old man came rushing along with his wife. “How dare you shout in my house?” Beatrice said hoping that the boy would show her respect since she was a woman. “Is this what your mother told you to do in someon…” “My mother taught me well, I recommend you reflecting on your own image. Is abusing a child what you were taught. Do not talk to me, I do not have any business with you and you cannot handle being involved in this one.” Xavier cut in throwing daggers at Beatrice not bothered one bit about her. “Abraham, I think you have to start praying I find Alexander well.” Xavier chuckled, not a beautiful one, and left without saying anything more. That sent shivers down both the people’s spines and they were not the good kind. They never thought that things would get like this. Was Alexander so important that this man would kill for him? Suddenly a thought crossed Abrahams mind. Without wasting any more time, he chased after Xavier, “Mr Quinn! I have something to tell you.” Abraham said already feeling proud of his plan to get of this situation he was in. He smiled with his chin up watching as Xavier approached him.
