Loredana's POV
I was overwhelmed. Jeremy, the talking head, Mike being my mate, and the creepy guys. My mind was stalled. Logan bringing Tiffany in and saying they were mates. That they had already mated and marked each other blew my mind. Why was it so fast? My head didn't want to wrap around any of it. I could see Maya, Joe, Athens, Mortou, and Hawk each had their thoughts and we're chatting among themselves. Did they realize the amount of danger this brought? I was not sure what was gonna happen. Will they go home and stop the tour? What about me and Mike?
"Stop thinking, " Mike's deep voice whispered in my ear as his arms pulled me back into his chest. "I can see your mind running away with you,"
"What's going to happen?" I looked up to see his brown eyes soft and sweet.
"We keep going," he shrugged. "We knew Veltio would show up at some point. He wants both Amber and Maya dead." Mike jerked his head toward both women.
I pulled back a little to look up surprised. "Really? They knew?" Came my shocked words.
"Did you see them running around afraid?" Mike raised a black brow.
"No," I looked back over at all of them. Newfound respect filled my chest for them. They willingly walked into a situation that would likely get them killed.
"They knew, they planned to fight him and end it when he comes." There was a relaxed way about Mike.
"Then why are you guys here?" I looked back at him.
"To help them." His words just that no remorse or worry in the slightest.
"But, but what if." My words were paused as he placed his finger on my lips.
"Shhh, we all knew going into this we may die." He pulled his finger back placing a feather-light kiss on my lips. "Never in my wildest dreams did I think during this I would find you." Another feather-light kiss brushed my lips. His hands gripping me tighter and closer to his body. "it gives me even more reason to fight." His lips came down with passion and so much intense feeling I couldn't even begin to tell you the words. Yep words, feelings gone. He wiped my brain of everything but his touch and kiss.

Mike's POV

I knew that Lory had no clue what the true goal of this was. That she was in the middle of something so epic. I could see her mind falling into the panic of what if's. I couldn't let that happen. She was my mate, I would protect her and keep her safe. It would make my job a lot harder but I was down for the challenge. I knew after our first kiss I wanted more and this seemed like a perfect time to go for it again. I needed to go slow, she was unsure and never been with anyone else. My heart raced at being her one and only. That was every shifter's dream. Did it happen, well no this world was different and you learned to accept what was. Lory's sweetness and gentle heart I wanted to devour and claim as my own. She would be my one weakness and I was ok with that.
I felt her melt in my arms as my lips told her everything words could not. I wanted to peel her clothes and worship her body like the goddess she was to me. Not many women wanted me since the scar, I was ok with that. This woman didn't even seem to notice the scar, which blew my mind.
Someone cleared their throat near me. I broke the kiss ready to growl when I saw it was Mortou. I swallowed it quickly. "I would ease up, we need to plan and will need Lory's input." There was a smirk as he knew I had contained my growl. Mortou waved us both to the group now seated in chairs and the couch. "Find a seat" he finished.

Mortou's POV

Mike almost growled at me, I had to chuckle. That boy was a lot like me. Even though he was a fifth-generation werebear, he was indeed the strongest I have seen next to my first generations. Velito had made sure to curse my entire line. One of the reasons I planned to help destroy him. Athens had mentioned he was going to Shaman to chat about Logan and Tiffany.
I was surprised about that pairing. I had never seen two different types of shifters paired. Minus Amber who was created in the lab Hawk and Athens had destroyed. I saw everyone waiting for what Joe was going to say.
"So Velito knows our schedule and route. We knew there would be possible surprises so this is our time to regroup and plan. Anything said here will not be repeated. You miss it that's on you." Joe's was being gruff.
I didn't blame him hell I think I would have been worse. Maya was silent, it looked like she was chatting with her wolf. Jewel was chatting with Pinky and Elder Braun was chatting with Ace and Logan. Tiffany Logan's mate I had checked into before she came to do make-up. She was clear, with no attachments to any known people of Velito.
"From now on we trust no one at any new place we go. There will be a buddy system in place when we have things to do. Nobody alone." Joe barked out gaining my attention.
Jewel was my biggest concern, she felt like a daughter to me. I have had all sons. I connected with that girl as she belonged to me as one of my own. Everyone knew I would watch the kids. I still was on the fence about the dragon, Tvso being her mate. Something seemed off there. I just didn't know where in it.
"From now on everyone will wear locator charms and check-in. I want us to all do a blood bond so we can mind link each other as needed." Joe finished up what we chatted about.
I grabbed the ritual bowl that Alpha Gene sent with us for this purpose should s**t get crazy. The boy had it gotten crazy faster than I expected. I carried the bowl to Joe. Setting it down and placing the herbs in and chanting the words.
"Everyone place your arm over the bowl." Joe's order rang in my ears and I placed my arm out as well.
