Chapter Sixteen

1160 Words
*Sisiwe’s POV* I could see he was hiding a lot and mostly bad things. I was hurt that he doesn’t trust me enough to open up to me. I mean after what happened last night I know he’s dealing with dangerous people. I just want to know more, I don’t want to be left in the dark. “Your food is getting cold” my thoughts were snatched away by those words and my eyes fixed on his “Mm??” I muttered. He sighed in defeat. “You want to know about last night right?” Yes of course. We can’t be having guys attacking us and expect me to not want to know. “Well I’m curious about many things” he chuckled softly “What things?” “Your life, your whole life as a person and mostly the business you into” he looked away “But you don’t have to tell me now but I just hope you’ll learn to trust me and then talk to me” well I said that just because I didn’t want to seem like I’m prying. He took the plates and put them in the sink and sighed as he came back to me. He let out his hand to hold mine “I knew one day I’d have to do this so lets it be today” with those words he took my hand and we walked out of the house and went to the back of the house. The back is so huge and there’s a shed which I believe has tools, I don’t know, yet. We were walking towards the shed and he opened it and we went in. This was no ordinary shed, they were no tools or dirt like most shed instead this one had a huge electric machine which had many buttons and he pressed on these buttons. Then he placed his thumb as this machine scanned it. After that he spoke some words which I believe were in Spanish. I was dumbfounded as I looked at him attentively. He then tightened his grip in my hand as the ground opened up and the shed went down. Whoa what the f**k is going on? How did a shed go down and the ground f****n opened up? My mind was still processing everything when the shed stopped moving and he pressed on some button in the machine and the shed opened and my eyes couldn’t believe it, no hell no my eyes are deceiving me. No way, an underground double storey mansion… I blinked once, twice and damn it was really. “Are you going to go out or?” s**t he said something but I didn’t hear, my mind was still in awe. “Baby, you saying?” he laughed and picked me up bridal style and we were in heaven. He put me down in the comfy Swiss leather couch and my ass twerked in excitement. s**t everything around this house looks expensive. I stood up and took a look around “How many rooms does this beauty have?” I ask sarcastic “It has about seven, but two are for business only”. Wow seven rooms. He came back with some drinks and snacks and we sat on the couch. He took a chip and fed me and I blushed as I chewed “So here’s your time, what do you want to know about me?” did I hear well? Okay you brought this upon yourself as I will ask you. I adjusted my sitting position and sat comfortably. “Okay I want to know everything, your family and where you come from and your growing up...” he laughed so hard I stopped speaking. “Really baby?” he asked while wiping the tears from laughing and I folded my arms and looked the other way and he tickled me“ I’m sorry baby” I looked his way with lazy eyes and blank expression. He held my hands and kissed them “Okay, I’ll tell you baby. Uhm I have a big family, I have five sisters and I’m the only boy. I have a twin sister and I still have my father and my mother died when I was six and she died of Cancer” he swallowed his saliva and I knew he was taken back and I held his hand and squeezed it in assurance that I’m here for him. “My family lives in Inanda well all the elders live there and my sisters live everywhere in this world” he chuckled and took a sip in his drink “I grew up in a lovely home but being the only boy was never easy as they were high expectations from me. I didn’t enjoy my teenage years as I was mostly sent on camps to train so I could be fit and ready to take over my father’s business one day” “Some days I would get mad at my parents for not giving me time to live and be a boy but my father always said that I’ll live when I had made my own money to spend. As time went on, I was grateful to my father for being hard on me because that made me the man I am today” he said while swinging his arms around the mansion “Now I own this and businesses that makes me a lot of money. My children would never suffer because their father worked hard” “So you want to have kids?” “Yes, but not now. I want to be ready first and get my business sh*t in order. I want to pass down my father’s teachings to my children and also fix the mistakes he made with me” When he speaks about his father, his voice has so much respect and honor for him. You could just tell that he loves him and even though he made some mistakes raising him, he’s still proud of his father’s teachings. His mother may have left him at a young age but you could tell there were close. When he speaks about her, you could see the pain in his eyes as if he was taken back to those days. He’s so broken inside but I’ll fix him. Now I know all about his family. His crazy twin sister and apparently they always argue but they were inseparable. It’s crazy how I never knew a thing about his family. Now my attention is on his business…
