Ch 5 Colin Pov

He was outside training with his unit. They do most mornings after he's taken Logan to tutoring or before school. He was his only parent, and when he took over two years ago. He told his father certain things he could not change. He would be they for the pack, but Logan had to come first.

His father was proud he's was being a father before an Alpha that was the correct thing to do. He was out training, and he was mind-linked by a border patrolman. That a human woman was on their land, and he didn't know what to do. You couldn't just stumble on our lands. It's fine she probably just followed an animal and got lost she'll turn around.

"Alpha, we have a 3 rouge are stalking her, I think, looking to mate and kill," he said.

Shit where is she?

"South side, Alpha, what should I do they are going to attack her," he said.

Nothing he's on his way. He told his unit to come on, a human on the south side is going to be attacked by 3 rouge wolves. All 4 of them shifted. We raced to the border. He could see her, then the strongest scent of blackberries and liquorice hit him. Pike was screaming "MATE" at him.

"Did he just say mate?" Alec asked his Beta.

"Alpha, you're going to be naked. You might scare her half to death, walking toward her naked. " Nathan, his gamma, said laughing.

Shit they are a clothing bin two trees away from her. Take down the rouges she is your Luna. With those words, the laughing stopped, and they took action. He ran, and Pike shifted him back. He found a pair of shorts.

"Find the tightest pair of shorts, no shirt. Look good for mate, " Pike said.

He laughed Pike. We are not marking and mating her. She's human has no idea who we are will take time for that. His beast huffed. he wasn't happy.

"Alpha, we've taken care of them. She looks frightened, her hands are over her face," Alec said.

He's about to turn to see her. He asked if she was alright. She moved her hands from her face. She was looking at him up and down. He couldn't help but smile. She likes how he looks. She was full on ogling him.

She was beautiful herself gorgeous green eyes. Long black hair was in a high ponytail. She stood up. She had a nice figure. Could see it. She was only in a pair of shorts and a T-shirt. Oh yes, his Luna was fit. He liked what he saw.

She had raised eyebrows at him when he reached her face. Sorry, he apologises, but you were checking him out he couldnt help do the same. She went bright red in the face. He smiled. What are you doing out here?

"Where are the wolves gone?" she asked.

His men chased them off they were just hungry and clearly found you appetising. She smiled all shyly. Are you okay?

"Yes, I'm fine, thank you. Thank you for getting rid of them. If you would please point me in the direction of the carpark for the forest trail.I would appreciate it, " she said.

"Don't let her leave," Pike said

"Your house?" she said.

"No, of course not, it's just. My name is Claire Wood. " she said.

He smiled, and he now understands the laughing. How strange same last name. He hopes we aren't related.

"I don't think so. I don't have any family in America." she said.

Just a nice coincidence then. Shall we. He started to walk with her. She smelt wonderful. This isn't going to be easy he wants to mate her already. 5 min conversation he's hooked. So what are you doing here?

"I've been travelling for the past 6 weeks. Taken a year off from work. I'm a professor at the University of Cumbria.I teach art and design. I love it but was ready for a long, overdue break. I was meant to be staying at a campsite near Great Trinity forest, but they can't get me in till tomorrow. Oh crap my car its still they, " she said

It's okay he'll send someone to go collect it you can stay here we have plenty of rooms. We carried on walking to the pack house. She looked stunned when we reached it.

"This is your house?" she asked.

Yes, like a hotel. Some people from the community that work here live inside. As you can see those houses over they. many more all over his land.

"Bloody hell, you're rich then. I'm sorry that was very rude of me," she said.

He smiled. Thanks, it's okay. Yes, he does well business wise. Everyone here either works for him or owns their own business in the town centre of the community. He was watching his words. Wasn't as easy as he thought. Alec, Nathan, and Tyrone came toward him.

Claire Wood, this is Alec, Nathan, and Tyrone, my business partners.

"Wood?, you married her on this walk," Tyrone asked.

He clipped him over the back of the head. She laughed. No, just same last name, you dumba**.

"Sorry," Tyrone said. Rubbing his head.

"That's okay, we were surprised, too, but all good. It's nice to meet you all. Thank you for chasing the wolves off. I kind of didn't know what to do." she said.

"You're welcome." All said.

Can one of you collect Claire's car from the south campsite please. She couldn't get into the campsite today, not until tomorrow. She's going to stay here tonight.

"I can go," Alec said.

She handed Alec her keys. It's was a Jeep Avenger. You said he was rich. That's a very expensive car.

"Yes, it is, but it's rented. I didn't pay for it. I actually rented a different one, and she upgraded me. I met a lovely woman on my flight to New York, and she treated me. She was a wonderful kind. She did ask me to contact her when I reached Dallas. Maybe I should call her and ask to stay with her. I don't want to put you out. " she said

NO, it came out a little louder than he intended to. Sorry, no, he would really like it if you stayed here. She smiled.

"Okay, if it means that much to you, I'll stay, but I'll still let her know I'm safe." Claire said.

She pulled out her phone and called this woman who was trying to steal his Luna from him. Then he heard another phone ring. His mother was walking outside. She saw his mother herself.

"Zola, is that you?" Claire said.

Zola?

"Oh Claire, my dear, what are you doing here? Is everything okay? son, why are you shirtless and no shoes on?" Mother asked.

"Son? he's yours, son. " Claire asked.

"Yes, how did you meet him? I knew where I lived? whats happened?" Mother asked.

"I accidentally walked onto your land. I was following a deer. The deer ran off.I turned around to see 3 very unwell looking wolves. Clearly, who were about to attack me. Colin here, and his friends chased the wolves away. He offered for me to stay here. " Claire said.

How do you know his mother?

"We met on the flight from Manchester to New York, where I met your father. We got talking about art and she's wonderful. I knew she was travelling and adventually coming to dallas so I invited her here. Why are you dressed this way, son? " Mother asked.

He was sparing with his friends when one of the guards saw what was happening on the cameras, so we rushed over. It wasn't much time for a shirt or shoes. He will go get dressed now. Please Claire don't leave he won't be too long. She nodded and smiled.

"Waiting for my car," She said.

His mother linked him. " Son, what's going on?" she asked.

She's his mate mother, don't let her leave.

"What?" she sounded stunned.

Yes, when he went to rescue her, he scented her out. Clearly, the goddess let him scent her before the full moon, so she didn't leave, and he'd never meet her again.

"Oh my goddess yes il keep her here. This is wonderful, Colin. I was hoping to introduce you two myself. Clearly, the goddess agreed with me. She would be perfect for you. Take it slow tho Colin has had a hard few years." she said.

"Yes, but not in the way you're thinking. Let her tell you herself, as I won't it her private life. I think she only told me as my natural Luna ability came out. " Mother said.

Okay, he won't be long. He ran and had a quick shower. Changed into jeans and a T-shirt.

"Put tight clothing on, show off our muscles." Pike said

Pike this again with the clothes. It's tight enough. He was about to walk out of his suite when his arms snapped out on the door frame, stopping him. Pike, stop it. It's tight enough.

"Tighter now or il rip out of you here and now." He said.

Fine his grabbed one of his black t-shirts was slightly tighter.happy? Pike growled. He walked downstairs. He could still smell she was outside waiting for her car. She looked at him. Her cheeks flushed red. She turned away.

"See, she likes it." Pike said

"Whats with the tight shirt, son?" Father asked.

Pike wouldn't let him leave the room until his shirt was a particular tightness. He father laughed. He's glad you find it funny. He's going to out us before he has a chance to get her comfortable here, especially with wolves attacking her. It's not a good start, father. Father nodded. She is beautiful his human Luna. He really didn't care if she was human or wolf.
