CHAPTER THREE:THE ANSWER TO ALL QUESTIONS...

Josh ushers Cassy to go inside. A young boy welcomed them.
"Your grandfather is waiting for you", the young boy informed the two.
" Thanks Dan", Josh replied and they headed inside.
The mansion was like any other mansion from inside. With living rooms, chandeliers, a kitchen, many bedrooms and a music room.
"Wow. This place is just like any other houses I've seen. Why bother decorate the outside so mysteriously? ", she gasped in awe.
" That is to let intruders out", an old man walks up to them.
"Grandpa", Josh kissed his grandpa's hands like they do as custom.
" Hello, grandpa. How are you? ", Cassy did as well.
" I am glad you came. I have been waiting for you, Cassiopeia ", grandpa shaman grinned.
" So, you are a shaman, grandpa ", she smiled nervously.
" Yes. And I assume that you are here to ask for answers. And I will tell you but you won't believe a thing I told you, is that right? ", grandpa said and proceeded to his workspace.
" Does it have a strange meaning? I have been tormented in this scary dream for awhile now. I don't know if it's... ", she sighed.
" Everything has meanings. Your fate depends on your own behavior and how you like it to end. The thing in the past cannot be changed but YOU can change your future ", grandpa shaman said to her.
" I would assume that you are talking about special powers or ability grandpa", Josh said
"You're smart, "grandpa shaman chuckles.
" Can you cure me? I have been to many doctors and they can't find anything wrong with me. The sudden heart ache I felt and these dreams, they are all killing me", she complains bitterly.
"Come, I'll show you something", grandpa shaman ushers them into a room filled with gemstones and strange markings on the walls.
He opened a wooden box and it reveals a necklace with clear petal-like pendant. Grandpa shaman took it out and give it to Cassy.
" This will protect you from the dark forces that wants to have the blood of the mistress. People will come to you and force you into their alliance. But you can trust no one", grandpa shaman said to her.
"Yeahhh", she sighs.
The old shaman make them leave before Sundown for no reason. He didn't even offer them something to eat.
" You must journeyed to find two sacred things in order to help you awaken the power of Cassiopeia. A west falling star and the dagger of beauty. This two things will help you awaken the powers of the universe and save yourself. But you must always walk with the light for the powers in you is much dangerous than you could have imagined ", grandpa shaman reminded her before he shooed them away.
Though Cassy didn't fully understand what he said, she still listens to him. She didn't get the answer to her illness but heard the most unreal things in the world. The thing she never believe s in.
" I guess this necklace answers all of my questions", Cassy smiled with contentment.
Still can't think about other things besides her dream, Cassy thought of a way to be able to speak in her dreams. In that way, she'll be able to find out what really is that crazy dream of hers.
“You can just drop me here, Josh. I wanted to be alone for a moment”, she told Josh to stop the car right in front of a big hotel.
“Here? In a hotel? What are you gonna do here? I mean.... . fine, you decide”, seeing Cassy's annoyed face and not wanting to add more fire, Josh did what she asked and drop her off the Coastal Hotel.
Inhaling the not so fresh air around, Cassy went inside to book a room for a whole night.
“May I have your identification, please? ”, the receptionist asks her.
Cassy gave out her information along with her ID and in just a few steps, she entered her suit room.
“Hmm... It'll comfortable here”, ploppong down the bed, she sighed in relief.
And not long after that, Cassy falls asleep. And there, she dreamt of it again. But it was much clearer than before, like she was actually there.
A little girl wearing a beautiful dress was running away from something. Her dress was full of mud and she was crying, trying to get away.
“Please.... Don't kill me”, her pleas disappeared into the darkness of the forest.
“You know you can't get away from me, Princess. It is your destiny and you can't just throw it out because you're in love! ”, the man who has been chasing her spoke in a high and proud tone.
The girl was afraid.... and from the little girl she is, she became a beautiful, young lady.
Watching the scene, Cassy's eyes filled with tears. She looks like someone so close to her. And the strange thing was, she can sense her scent.
“Roselda, you must bear the responsibility that our clan had for centuries. The time has come and you'll accept it as the first born of our family”, the man spoke.
Two men tackles the lady and the man took out a box from his knapsack. Inside the box is some sort of root that had dried up from long period of time. Struggling, the man shoved the whole root into her mouth and made her swallow it. Roselda cried in tears as she tries to get up but the two who had tackled her is much more stronger than she is. The man succeeds in making her eat the root. They finally let go if Roselda and she dropped her whole body to the ground.
“Papa.. ”, out of breath, the lady whispers that made the man stopped from his tracks and look back. But the girl diverted her attention and then, she saw Cassy who has been standing there unnoticed. Roselda's eyes changed color into a golden one. She laughs out loud and before she passed out, she exclaimed the word, “daughter” while looking at Cassy's direction.
Cassy woke up all of a sudden. She was sweating all over her body. She never realized that she has been crying in her dreams.
