I stood by the car and watched my mom cry hugging Barion. “Hannah he’s not even going to be gone that long.” My dad said rubbing her back. “You’ll call right?” My mom said. “Everyday mom.” Barion said before he hugged Lydia. “Be good squirt.” He said and Lydia laughed. “Bye Bari, come back to visit soon!” Lydia said sweetly. I watched this perfect family happily hugging and laughing. “Because I said no!” I heard Liam as he approached the car. “Here.” Liam threw his bag at my feet. “But dad said it was ok!” Daisy said with her arms crossed. “Why do you want to go anyways!?” Liam argued back and I grabbed Liam’s bag and put it in the trunk. “Because I never get to go anywhere or do anything!” Daisy yelled. “She just wants to hang out with Josh.” Barion said walking past us and getting in the car. “Oh you are definitely not going now!” Liam said getting in. I quickly jumped in the front seat. I looked out at Daisy walking up to Lydia and Andy clearly complaining. My mom ran up to the window and I rolled it down. “Joshy be good.” My mom kissed my cheek and Barion started laughing. “Be good Joshy.” Barion mocked and pushed me. “Yes mom.” I said and she walked back. Jensen started the car and soon we were pulling away. “So.” I heard Liam and assumed he was talking to Bari. “So Joshy.” Barion said and I looked back. “What?” I asked. “What’s up with you and my sister?” Liam asked and Barion started laughing. “Nothings going on.” I said looking back and Jensen slightly laughed. “Nothing huh?” Barion said pushing my shoulder. “Can we not talk about it?” I asked. “H*ll no, I heard you were holding her hand and sh*t.” Liam said and I sighed. “She was trying to give Henry some kind of hint to leave her alone.” I said. “Not to change the subject but I f*cking hate that guy.” Liam said. “He gave her this weird creepy hug. Didn’t sit right with me.” I said. “Are you going to challenge him Joshy?” Barion snickered. “Why would I challenge him?” I said annoyed. “Um to defend my sisters honor?” Liam said flicking my ear. “Can we change the subject?” I asked and the car grew silent. “Heard they were kissing.” Barion suddenly said. “Ew! Josh what the f*ck!?” Liam pushed me. “Where did you hear that!” I said looking back at him. “Mom told me that dad told her.” Barion smiled. “We didn’t do anything!” I whined. “He’s getting so flustered. Makes me believe things happened more then ever.” Barion said. “Agreed.” Liam replied. “Talk about something else.” I said. “But it’s a long ride and I’m having fun.” Barion said. “Hey.” Liam leaned forward and put his hand on my shoulder. “If anything does happen between you and my sister. You’re dead.” He squeezed my shoulder until it hurt. “Ouch! Nothing is happening.” I sighed. “My mom will be upset if you kill him. He’s her baby Joshy.” Barion snickered. “I’m not a baby. Why did mom make me go?” I said turning to Jensen. “Because I’m a old man and your mother worries about me falling asleep at the wheel.” Jensen said. “You’re joking right?” I asked. The rest of the ride was jokes and laughing. At least they had laid off me mostly. Once we reached the airport. I got out and helped Jensen with the bags. I turned and Barion hugged me. “I won’t be gone long. I’ll be back by your birthday.” Barion said and I patted his back. “Hey, I’ll ask mom if maybe you can come visit Eclipse. Maybe get Beta training from Jordan?” He asked and I smiled. “Really!? I would love that.” I said and he smiled. “Hey.” Liam came over and slapped my shoulder. “Stay away from my sister.” He said and grabbed his bag. “Ok?” I said looking at him like he was insane. “Jensen.” Barion said hugging him. “Safe travels back.” He said and grabbed his bag. We watched him walk into the airport. “Well Josh, we better hit the road.” Jensen said and we got in the car. “Josh.” Jensen started the car. “What?” I asked. “You keep saying nothing is going on with you and the Shore girl.” Jensen said. “Daisy, and?” I said knowing this was going to be a uncomfortable conversation. “Well, I think you should be honest about your feelings. Your mother thinks so too.” Jensen said. “You told mom! I can’t trust anyone around here.” I groaned. “I didn’t tell her. Don’t worry.” Jensen said. “I don’t have feelings.” I said annoyed. “Everyone has feelings of some kind.” Jensen said. “Can we not talk about this? Let’s listen to radio.” I said turning on the radio. “Ok, but think about it Josh.” Jensen said. The rest of the car ride was silent and not once did Jensen almost fall asleep at the wheel. We pulled up to the pack house around midnight. I got out of the car and stretched. “Thanks for the company Josh. Tell Daisy I said hi.” Jensen laughed as we walked into the pack house. “Very funny.” I said going upstairs. I stopped at my door and took a breath. I opened it and to my surprise, the room was empty. I got changed and plopped into bed. Maybe tonight’s sleep would go uninterrupted.
