Clara's Pov (The Next Day...) We all stood outside to witness as the Alpha King and his beloved Queen left the pack house to the airport for their honeymoon. I still couldn't hold how happy I am for them. Mom left Alpha Darius to me, staring into my already wet eyes. I've never missed mom this much. I know I've been leaving her for school, spending three to four months without looking at her face. But now that it's only two weeks, I feel like it's a year. I don't know if it's just how excited I am for her, or the fact that her presence really mattered a lot when it comes to the crown princes. "Be a good girl, sweetheart. I know they don't like you, but try not to get on their nerves. As much as I love you, I also care about your safety." I held her both hands. "You don't have to worry about me, mom, I'll be fine. I promise. You should be happy, I mean, it's your honeymoon." "Shut up." I laughed at her. "Enjoy your moment with dad, and try not to think too much about me. I won't be happy if dad tells me you've been depressed because of me. I swear to God, I'm gonna curse you " "Hey. You can't do that." "For the sake of love, I can." I chuckled, seeing how terrified she looked. "Just joking." "Okay. Okay. That felt real and... mean. Don't you ever try that again." She said in clenched teeth, slapping the back of my palm. I laughed and pulled her into my embrace. "I love you, mom. I love you so so much." "I love you too, hun. Always remember that." I broke the hug since we were taking too long already. I cleared my throat. "Don't keep dad waiting." I looked over her shoulder, winking at dad who ended up smiling at me. "Yeah, you're right." She said, wiping off the tears on her cheeks. "Bye." She waved at me and I did the same to her. "Bye." I watched her walk to the car. Dad opened the back door for her to enter, he joined her. I was waving at them until they were out of sight. I sighed heavily. Okay. I'm back to this hell s**t of life. I glared around and noticed I was the only one standing outside with my maid, Sonia, who was standing beside the entrance door, waiting for me. "How long have I been standing?" I asked her as I made it to the door. "Close to ten minutes, I guess." "Wow." I made it to the sitting room. I froze on seeing Prince Adrien and his brothers waiting for me to show up. Now what? I'm gonna die? "I love you so so much, mom. And I'm gonna miss you." Kelvin tried mimicking me but ended up sounding weird. Adrien kept a mean face. "Hey. I wasn't sounding like that." "Then you were sounding like what? Aww, don't keep daddy waiting." He mimicked and this time Adrien smirked. I remembered what Sonia told me yesterday, "If you don't want to feel uncomfortable around the crown princes, then you've got to avoid getting on their nerves." I also recalled mom's words. "Since you've noticed they aren't familiar with you, then all you've got to do is give them some space." I ignored them, making my way to my room when Adrien grabbed my hand, pulling me back. "Where do you think you're going?" He questioned. "Does it even matter?" I questioned back. "As you can see, father is gone, and so is your mother. I'm in charge now, so I can do whatever I want. So, when I ask you a question, I expect an answer without an abusive word." "Hmm." I hummed, then bursted out laughing. He looked at me irritatedly, but I didn't mind. "I'm in charge now, so I can do whatever I want. So, when I ask you a question, I expect an answer without an abusive word." I mimicked, still laughing. "What's funny?" "You are funny. You all are." I held myself from laughing even though it was still obviously clear on my face that I still wanted to laugh at them. "Do you think trying to sound all deep and mean is gonna threaten me? No way. Look, I don't give a f**k about who and what you guys are, as long as dad accepts me into his life, I'm cool with it. And as long as I have Gerek as a friend, I'm satisfied. I don't need the two of you in my life." They both looked at Gerek who was smiling proudly, "What? She said she likes me." "That still doesn't change the fact that you're under me, and you will do exactly whatever I ask you to do." "Well, I won't argue with you. But for your information, it's up to me to decide whether or not I'll do what you ask me to do. But until then, I'll just pretend like I didn't hear that." "C'mon, Adrien, are you just gonna let her talk back at you like that?" Kelvin mocked, chuckling. "Shut the f**k up, Kel." He snarled, throwing at him an angry glare. He returned his gaze at me. "I see you've grown a bad mouth already. You haven't asked, and you haven't learned. But don't worry, our parents will be away for two weeks, and trust me, I'll make this two weeks miserable for you. Maybe until then, I hope you must have learned what kind of family you just walked your ass into." Is he threatening me? "Are you... threatening me or what?" "Threatening?" He laughed, and so did Kelvin excluding Gerek who has been quiet all these while. "I haven't even started yet and you're already trembling." He walks closer to me, leaving an inch gap between us. He leaned his face towards mine, "What will happen when I start? You're gonna scream? Or you're gonna call your pretty mom to come over and rescue you?" I was fighting back the tears clouding my eyes, I didn't want him to see me as a weakling who would cry at any little threat. But honestly, I couldn't hold it back for long. I knew this would happen. I knew I wasn't going to be free from the hands of the Rodriguez brothers. I walked past him but he grabbed my hand again, pulling me back to him. "What do you want from me?" I questioned, and I found myself disgracing me as hot tears streamed down my cheeks. "I just want you to go. I just want you out of this family. For good."
