had just caught a scent that I hadn’t smelled before when suddenly a force came at me from the side. I felt my body fly through the air before I slammed into tree. I yelped out in pain, a tree branch stabbed into my back. I knew it had broken the skin. I could feel the blood running down my side as I tried to stand up. My leg gave out on me though, my butt hitting the ground again. I looked up to see who the hell it that was slammed into me. A vampire stood staring at me with the evilest smile on her face I had ever seen.
