Chapter 6 Counterattack

"Help! Is someone out there?"

Amelia screamed for help in the room with the little boy in her arms. After a while, they heard the sound of opening the door.

"What the hell are you crying about!" A man with a large scar on his face pushed the door open. His face was full of impatience.

While crying, Amelia pointed at the little boy in her arms, "The child is shocked. He has a fever and needs to go to the hospital!"

When the big man heard that the child was sick, he frowned. Just as he was about to say something, he heard Amelia continue to speak: "It's even colder here at night. He must go to the hospital. If not, I am afraid he may get really sick and pass out."

Amelia learned the man's voice and carried out the conversation all by herself, shifting in two voices. The little boy seemed amazed by this. His eyes widened with full of curiosity.

The sound of footstep was getting closer to the door. Amelia dragged the big man on top of her as fast as she could. She asked Hayden to pretend to be asleep. She murmured a sound of kissing, "Hmm…Don’t….The kid is here!"

She then used the man’s voive:”The kid was asleep! Let’s do something fun!”She faked a sound of disgusting laugh.

The two people at the door heard the sound, peeked inside and laughed, "Way to go, that bastard."

The men's voices were getting farther away. It wasn't until she was sure that they were all gone that she pushed the man on her body away.

The little boy sat up and looked at Amelia's eyes.

Amelia squeezed his cheek and said with a smile, "Let’s get out of here."

Amelia took the man’s phone and called the police. Then she took the boy and rushed out the door to get the car. The other guys must have gone away to let their companion “have some fun”.

She waited for a while but the police was not coming soon. The guy on the ground moved a little. Amelia's heart skipped a beat. What if the guy woke up? She needed to think of something else.

"Let’s do a plan B! You waited here for the police. I will disattract them by driving away! I won’t be far."

The little boy hesitated for a moment, but finally nodded. Amelia put the boy behind the boxes. She told him again and again, “Be quiet. Don’t panic. Wait for the police.”

She waited there in another corner. Then she rushed outside to the car, opened the door as fast as she could and sat in. She needed to get away before the guy woke up and called his g**g back.

"Hey! What’s up?" The bald was drinking outside when suddenly the phone rang.

"Boss! That b***h. Ouch! She took the kid and left! She knocked me out! "

They got on other cars and chased in different directions. The abandoned factory suddenly quieted down.

Moonlight scattered in the place. Not long after, a car arrived outside. The door to the small room opened suddenly. Everyone "shuh" pointed their guns, and the light of the flashlight was all focused on the door.

"Mr. Mill! Here, young master was here before! "

Taran’s team surrounded the factory but found no one inside. But the last signal of his son Hayden's location was here.

A small figure came out of the light. Hayden stood sullenly in a thin shirt. There was no expression on his little face, but there was some tears in his eyes.

When Ben saw Hayden, he stepped forward in excitement. But Hayden didn't seem to see him. He strained his face to keep the tears from falling. Hayden bypassed the embrace of Ben, walked straight to Taran's side, took his hand and walked out anxiously, "Daddy, you have to save that lady!"
