It’s dinner time at the pack house and me, Katie along with a few other kitchen staff are just finishing up dinner. I hear loud thuds and screams.
What’s going on?
“Everyone! Help the young children and women into the safe room downstairs! We are being under attack by rouges!” Shouts a pack warrior.
I turn around and look at Katie. In a quick pace we both separated and grabbed any kids we find around the pack house.
“Hurry up, hurry!” I hear another pack warrior shouting.
I think that’s everyone. I say to myself.
Out in the field.
“ why are there so many rouges. This is twice as much as last time!!” Screams Beta Tom as he shifts mid air and bites one of the rouges on the leg. The rouges howls in pain right before Tom rips his leg off and tosses it aside like garbage.
Alpha Jackson is also in his brown wolf form attacking any rouges trying to pass them. They are obviously wanting to get to the pack house.
Alpha Jackson used his mind link. “Warriors this is your Alpha speaking, I need you to form four groups and protect the pack house. We cannot let them through. Be strong, Alpha Tyson and his pack are on their way to help assist us.”
Wolves howled clearly understanding what Alpha Jackson said. But there is so many rouges left and right.
Pack House
“ is that a little pup crying?” Lyric asked me.
“I think your right. And I think it’s coming from outside.”
I run through the back doors and out into the garden. There I see a little boy pup sitting on the grass. I ran out, picked him up and carried him in my arms.
“What are you doing outside by yourself little one, we are being attacked by rouges. Let’s get you inside.” I say to him. Trying to comfort him.
Grrrr... Grrr...
“Heads up! There’s four rouges on your right side!” Screams Lyric.
My eyes widen and the large four brown rouges that are now approaching me. Few of them are licking their lips and the others are snarling at me, showing their sharp teeth.
Dad had taught me how to fight. He says it’s extremely important that I know how to defend myself. He taught me in both human form and wolf form. But he also reminded me to not use my wolf unless it was urgent.
I slowly put the little boy down and look at him. “Hey, it’s okay. Everything’s going to be fine. Be a good little boy and run through those doors. And go downstairs to the safe room okay?”
He shakes his head and says “okay”
Before I can see if he’s made in back. One of the rouge lunges at me. I quickly use my speed and dodge his attack. He turns right away and is surprised that I was faster than he expected. But in an instant he attacks again.
I stand my ground and pull a small knife from my waist band that I had tucked away from before. As soon as he gets a little closer that’s my chance. Five feet away from me, I use my speed and slide underneath him while I stab him and slice my way to his behind.
I turn around and see his lifeless body on the ground. One down and four more to go.
I hear crying again. I snapped my face towards that direction and see the little boy. He’s still here?
He’s being blocked by two rouges. I have to get to him and save him.
“I’m coming!!” I shout to him.
As I run towards him another rouge comes at me, in one quick motion I stab his paw and slice his cheek. He’s bleeding heavily and runs off.
“Haha chicken” says Lyric. “Let’s go and save that boy!” She reminds me.
But I can’t I’m being blocked by the last two rouges. They are circling the boy. As I’m trying to figure out a plan they share glances at each other and both come lunging at me. I jump high as I can and kick one in the face. He rolls on the ground and slams into a tree. Using these few seconds I have I shout to the little boy to run inside.
The rouges uses this advantage and comes at me again, both of them. As hard as I can use my strength and punch one of them in the face and that sends him flying into another tree. As that happens the other one bites my arm.
“Ahhhh...!” I scream in pain.
The rouge pounces back and howls in satisfaction that he has hurt me. The other one gets up and shakes off any pain I’ve given him. They both stare at me in confusion. Looked at each other and nodded.
I don’t feel the pain anymore and look down at my arm. The bite mark the rouge had done to me had healed. That’s odd.
Now I’m pissed. In the corner of my eye I see warriors from my pack and the Black Moon Pack coming towards me. Great, backup.
The rouges noticed too and loudly howled. With that ten more rouges come to help them.
I look at my pack and smelled chocolate and mint. In that instant I knew Tyson was here and making his way to me. Within seconds I see him. He’s in his large black wolf form. We stare at each other. I can tell he’s trying to check if I’m hurt because clearly I have blood on my arm but no evidence that I was cut.
The rouges are howling all at the same time. Everyone turns to look at them and they use this chance to bite my shoulders and drag me away.
Tyson eyes turn bright blue and dashes to rescue me as the other warriors follows.
Going through the forest, trees after trees. They stopped at a huge empty field. Six rouges attack Tyson and the warriors. The warriors are fierce as they ripped apart the rouges like they rag dolls.
Tyson steps from behind a tree and he’s shifted back to human form. He’s topless only wearing a pair of joggers. He fearlessly walks in my direction knowing well the rouges are creating a barrier so no one can get through to me.
He stops. Looks at the rouges and angrily shouts “give me the girl and I will spare your worthless lives.”
One of the rouges walks behind the tree and reappear again also topless just in joggers.
“No can do. I have orders to bring the white hair she wolf back to my leader. You leave now and no one else gets hurt!”
What’s so special about me? I question myself.
