Director Nelstarn stepped into her superior’s office, bowing her head as she did so. Not that she could see much anyway. The office was kept dark, so dark she could never make out more than a cloaked shape. She even had to enter through a darkened corridor, to ensure no light from outside strayed in. Her superior’s voice was husky, each word sounding like a strain. She’d always found it impossible to even determine their s*x.
