“When are you going to make a choice?”
“I don’t know Doran,” I sighed. “This isn’t easy for me.”
“I understand that, but you cannot keep stringing us both along!”
“You don’t have to stay here, Doran,” I stated. “You can go back to your kingdom.”
“I don’t want to go back to my kingdom, I want to be with you. But I don’t like sharing, I’m not accustomed to it at all.”
“You need to stop being so spoiled, Doran.” I kissed his cheek.
“Where are you going?”
“To see Lev.”
“Sela, let that man go! He cannot give you what I can.”
“Maybe you can’t give me what he can.” I smirked.
I hurried to Lev’s room.
“Hello my love,” Lev smiled, before kissing me. “I’d die a thousand times to kiss you forever.”
“You are so romantic.” I whispered.
“Sela, when will you choose someone to spend the rest of your life with?”
“I don’t know.”
“Do you love him?”
“Not exactly, but I feel a connection to him. I can see myself falling for him if I had time.” I admitted.
“So don’t give yourself time, just be with me. You already love me and I can take care of you, Sela. I love you so much.”
“I love you too, Lev, you know that.”
“Then act like it. Let the world know that you love me and that I love you. I’m so tired of this secret.” Lev whispered. “You wear my ring on your finger, but keep me in the shadows.”
I looked down at the ring on my finger. He was right. I should be able to make a decision on who I wanted. I couldn’t keep this up forever. A choice must be made and very soon.
I just wasn’t sure who was right for me.
“I’m going to make a decision tonight, Lev, I promise.”
“And how are you going to do that?”
“I’m going to ignore you both for the rest of the day and then tonight, I will know exactly who I want to be with.” I stated.
“Are you sure?”
“This can’t continue on.” I kissed Lev before going to my room.
I locked the door, laid down the bed and opened myself up to let the answer come to me.

I groaned lightly as I woke up.
I looked around to see I was alone. Slowly, I sat up still feeling groggy. The room was small but nice. I think I was in a cabin. The bed was very comfortable.
“Hello?” I called.
A few moments later, Enzo entered the room. “Babe, are you okay?”
“Yes um… Paz?”
“You saved his life, Celine. I don’t know how you did it, but he’s alive. He’s resting now too.”
“Oh good. Enzo, I saw in Rekz’s mind. Rafe is so angry. He wants me so badly.” I whispered.
“Because of Sela?”
I shook my head. “He wants me for something else. I don’t think he’s interested in working with The Depraved Fiend anymore.”
“So what does he want you for?” Enzo asked.
“I don’t know, he didn’t say. But he’s not gonna stop coming for me, Enzo. I think he really wants to hurt you. Maybe that’s what it's about.”
“He must know that I love you or something. He knows how much you mean to me. Rafe wants to take everything from me just like he did before.”
“It’s okay, Enzo. Sela can protect me. You will defeat him, I promise.”
Enzo pressed his forehead against mine. “I don’t know what I’ll do if I lose you, Celine. You’re everything to me. I can’t function without you.”
I kissed him. “I will take care of you like I always have. It’s what I’m here for.”
“I’m supposed to protect you, babe.”
“I’m the guardian, not you.” I smiled before kissing him again. “No matter how much of a big bad Alpha you are.”
“I love you.”
“I love you more.”
“Not possible.” Enzo kissed me again, this time pushing me down on the bed and climbing on top of me.
“Should we be doing this?” I whispered.
“I’ll be quick, I just need you Celine.” Enzo breathed.
His hand came between us before he started fingering me. Somehow his fingers were better than Grey’s. I was sure how that worked, but I loved it.

“I sure hope so.”
Enzo and I got dressed and then left the room, since I was feeling much better. The cabin was huge! It felt like it was as big as the fortress.
“Are you feeling better, Celine?” Pierce asked.
“Much better, thank you.”
“Celine!” Irene ran over and hugged me tightly. “Thank you so much. I don’t know how I’ll ever repay you.”
I rubbed her back. “You don’t have to, it was an honor to save his life, Irene.”
She cried as we continued hugging. I had never seen Irene show so much emotion that wasn’t just pure love for Paz.
She finally pulled away. “I’m gonna go check on him.”
“Okay.” I smiled.
“I knew Sela’s powers would be helpful. You saved a lot of lives yesterday.” Pierce said.
“I’m very glad to have done that. So what’s the plan now?”
“We can’t stop the journey,” Enzo stated. “We have to get to Sela. So tomorrow, if Paz is feeling we’ll start again. Just fight when we have to and keep going.”
“By the way, your Flaming Incubus friend left this behind.”
Pierce handed me a gold chain. I think I had seen it around Rekz’s neck.
The moment I touched it a vision hit me.
“What the hell happened?” Rafe snarled.
“She’s more powerful than I thought. She can see inside of my head, Alpha Rafe,” Rekz shook his head. “It f****d me up.”
“I don’t care! Find her and bring her to me.”
“What are you even going to do with her?”
“Enzo is in love with this woman, so I’m going to do what will hurt him most.” Rafe grinned.
“Kill her?”
“No. I’m going to marry her. She will be my Luna and she will give me a child. Enzo will watch that happen and then when he is at his saddest, I will kill him. But only after he has suffered watching the woman he loves be with another man and give her everything he never will.”
I dropped the chain and gasped.
“What’s wrong Celine?” Enzo asked.
“I know what Rafe wants with me now.”
