Chapter 8 - Streaming

"Hello, everyone. This is Stephen, and welcome to You've Been Ghosted! I'm here, as always, with Evan and Val. We have a treat for you tonight! As most of you are well aware, we've had a pretty busy afternoon. We didn't even get to the main event! If you missed it, check it out afterward. For now, we bring you to our main event. The reason for this video. For the first time ever, the Turner Street House! It hasn't been open to the public in over 20 years! The last person to walk these halls was Vincent Rodgers. His first appearance on our stream wasn't planned, but damn was it crazy! So, we're finally here in the Turner House. Our equipment is set up to get readings of anything unusual that we come across. You'll get to see it all live, but we'll also do a follow-up stream after we analyze the reading. I'd like to thank the owner, Miss Watson, for giving this once in a lifetime opportunity. Hey, support for our group had really inspired us to invest in the local businesses. Ten percent of any proceedings will be donated to the Loving Care Animal Shelter. Well, I think that's all I need to cover. I'll turn it over to Evan to explain our plan."

He motioned to Evan to come to the camera. Evan really wasn't up for this yet, but it was a team effort. He had to do his part. He asked Val to finish connecting these last cables while he explained the night to the viewers.

"Hey, everyone. It's good to be back. I'd also like to thank Miss Watson for tonight. We are all really excited to be here. Most of our recording equipment is locked in our command center. We've put up a station in the main room that will let us monitor from here. It wirelessly transfers to our recording equipment. We've set up cameras in every room. The EMF will be primarily set up here as well. We have the infrared thermometers set up. One in here, one in the library, and one in the hallway outside the bedrooms upstairs. Stephen and I will be doing most of the exploring while Val guides us from here. She'll be our eyes. There are stories of strange happenings, and we hope to capture them for you tonight!"

Though there wasn't an audience, Evan paused for a minute. He needed to adjust the EMF. Everything appeared ready.

"Well, everyone, we are actually ready. Things seemed off to a rough start, but it's time to start investigating. I hope you guys are ready to explore the paranormal!"

Stephen and Evan gathered their things. Val gave the thumbs up. They felt so much excitement in the air. When they first discussed this video, they had trouble deciding where to start. They had finally agreed on the library. It worked for the Ghostbusters. Stephen returned the narration.
