Chapter 3

Dante POV

    As I reach Jes I can see the look of triumph on her face. I reach for her shoulders, grip them firmly but not to the point of hurting them, and scoot her to the side of the tv. Her mouth dropped open, and the only thing that would have made this better is if she had swallowed a fly.

"I"m having a party tonight with the guys tonight and I'd like to relax for a few mins before I need to get ready. Besides you know it takes me a little bit before I can go again." I say that part to make her feel a little bit better. 

Jes is not my mate, but I do care about her. We have been f*****g for a couple years now, and when we are both home from deployment at the same time then she stays here with me. I'm not saying we are a couple cause I know I have been with other women since her and I started f*****g, but we are a thing. I don't do relationships, I don't make love, and I don't kiss. That is all stuff I thought one day I'd do with my mate, but it seems like that's never going to happen.

I click on the tv and put my feet up. I look up at her pouty face and pat the seat beside me with a small chuckle. She can be such a child sometimes. "Come site and relax with me, I'm going to take a shower in about," I look at my watch "30 mins."

    She joins me and I turn on something I know we both don't mind watching, Extreme homes. About 10 mins into it I feel her start to snuggle up to my side, my dragon starts to get restless. I know she is not our mate but he tolerates her cause he needs the release as much as I do, but he has been antsy lately. 

Whats up with you lately Storm? I ask him. I don't know, it just feels wrong for her to be near me. Now that he mentions it it does feel more wrong then usual. Maybe it was the dream I had on the plane, Ill just have to ask Selene next time I see her. 

I did also notice when we were f*****g earlier she was a bit off as well, she is usually much louder. Boy I must either be off my game, or something is up. As I am in my own head thinking, the show finishes and I miss the last 3 homes. Well I'm gana have to watch that episode again. 

    Standing up with Jen leaning against my arm, she looses her balance and falls on the couch. Looking up at me with a glare, all I could do is laugh. I walk to the bathroom and strip down to my birthday suit and hop in the shower. Its a huge shower with a wall seat covering the whole back wall, big enough for three people to sit comfortably. Turning on the water to the right temp I start to wash my hair. As I rinse the shampoo I stay under the water ant let the water beat on my head. If you listen to it, it can sound like you are out side in a heavy rainfall. 

As I reach for the body wash I hear the shower door slide open. Already knowing who it is I turn to see her but as soon as I turn around she is on her knees with my c**k in her hands.     I go to the freezer and get out the bratwurst, chicken, ribs, and hamburger meat. Being as I am a dragon of many elements, I do not have to wait for them to un thaw. I take them to the kitchen and set them on the counter. One by one I hold them over the sink in between both hands and summon up my heat. Within seconds the meat is ready to be cooked.

Pulling them all from the package, I get the hamburger meat in a bowl and season it for the burgers. Make the patties a bit bigger so when they shrink on the grill they will be just right. I season the chicken and ribs and take all of the meat out to the outdoor kitchen I have on the front deck. I start up the grill and put the chicken an ribs on opposite sides. I glaze them with their own sauces and close the lid.

    Jes walks out to me and sits in the rocker next to me. "I am only cooking the meat, is you want anything else you should probably start it now," I tell her. I know she likes other things besides just meat. Hey I'm a dragon, I need my meat. I know my buddies are good with just meat as well.

"How about a nice salad, and maybe a fruit bowl? Need to watch my figure, I'd hate to loose you over something small like that." She said as she got up and walked away. I just smiled in a whatever kind of way. Little does she know I like a woman that can eat and drink beer with me.

Its around 6:30 when the guys start to show up, some bring their girlfriends, others bring their hook ups an some just coming alone. I greet them all, while Jes is still in the house. I have told the guys about her, but just that we f**k around alot you know the truth. 

    I hear the door open and out walks Jes with one of her little fruity mixed drinks. She walks over to me and puts her arm around me, I can see some of the guys eyes popping out their heads right now and I can't help but chuckle. I look at them, put my arm around her waist "Guys this is Jes," I say

Before anyone says anything Jes chimes in with "I'm his girlfriend,"
