It has been a year ever since I and Blaze became a couple and thank goodness we are still a couple and our relationship is going smooth and strong as ever. Well, I didn’t say that our relationship is perfect, we also had an argument for some time and we also experienced it on and off but we are still able to overcome those trials especially when we are still in senior high school. After Mitchell knew that she just got played by someone, each day that will passed to us she will always make the four big scary girls or also known as the four BSG, wait for us at the main gate to harass us in secret. There is this time where they brought us to the abandoned building in our school and they will hurt us non-stop and thank goodness that was also the first and last time that happened to us because there’s this one brave boy that record them a video and shown it to the principal which leads them to expulsion, including Mitchell and up to this day I still didn’t know who’s that boy is, because when we asked the principal who did it the principal just told us that, that person wants to remain anonymous and all we know about him is that he is a boy and he is older than us. I truly want to meet him someday so I can thank him for saving us and for helping us to escape our nightmare.

“Hey sweetie, are you done?” I only came back to reality when I heard my mother’s voice from my door. I just shake my head a bit before looking at her with a smile on my face.

“Ah, yes mom. Is Blaze already here?” I asked her while putting all my stuff inside my bag.

“Yes sweetie, your sweetheart is already here. Do you want me to call him?” My mom teased me which made me looked at her while my face is blushing as red as tomatoes.

“Mom! There’s no need for you to call him, I am already done.” I said trying to hide the embarrassment that I am feeling right now.

“Okay, okay, there’s no need for you to get as shy as that. Then, we will just wait for you downstairs okay?” My mom said while smiling naughtily at me so I just nod at her while acting as if I am still putting some stuff inside my bag. As my door closes, I let out a sigh of relief because finally my mom left. I calm myself down first before heading downstairs because honestly, even though I and Blaze are already a couple for a year now I can’t still get used to my mom’s teasing and I don’t think I will get ever used to it. After calming myself down, I just get my bag from my bed and then head downstairs. As I reached our downstairs, I saw Blaze together with my parents and it seems like they are having a good time talking with each other. Since it looks like they haven’t notice me yet, I decided to take a picture of them because this needs to get captured. After taking a few shots, I decided to join them.

“Hey, finally you’re done!” My dad told me as he saw me walking towards them.

“Yeah.” I said and then kissed him on his cheeks as well as my mom. After greeting my parents, I head towards Blaze and sit beside him.

“Blaze mentioned to us that he will take performing arts as his course in college, so I assumed you will follow him there?” My mom told me as I sit beside Blaze.

“Of course…not! Mom you guys knew that I wanted to be writer ever since I was little right?” I told them with full of seriousness in my voice as well as to my face. They were all just staring at me for a whole minute, until they just laughed all of a sudden at the same time.

“HAHAHAHA, I told you! You shouldn’t tell that to your daughter!” My father told to my mom while laughing like crazy.

“I’m sorry but I need to do it! You know I love teasing your daughter ever since she was little. But, enough with the comedy. Sweetie, we knew that you truly wanted to be a writer ever since you were little and look at you right now! You are a freelance writer and already earning your own money and we are so proud of you because of that.” My mom said while she is walking towards me.

“Thank you mom, but will you please stop teasing me?” I told her as I hugged her so tight.

“You know that is just my way to keep our relationship like you were little, but you know Lei, we are so proud of you and we are always here to support you. If you wanted to be a writer then take the path that will lead you to that destination.” My mom said which made me smiled. I felt that she kissed me on my forehead first before unclasping the hug.

“Yes mom, I promised I will be a renowned novelist years from now.” I said which made her smiled.

“Then do it!” She said so I just nod at her with a smile on my face.

“Oh, enough with that these children need to leave as soon as possible. Just don’t forget to message us once you arrived in the city, okay?” My father said which immediately catches our attention.

“Yeah, we need to leave right now so we can still rest once we arrived in the city.” Blaze said so I just nod at him before heading back to my mom to give her a tight hug.

“Take care okay? Don’t forget to send us your message once you arrived in the city.” My mom said while I am hugging her so tight.

“Yes mom.” I said and then kissed her on her cheeks again before heading towards my father to give him a tight hug too.

“Do your best to your exam okay? So you won’t get separated from Blaze.” My dad said so I just nod at him. After that, I immediately get my luggage and then hugged my parents again before I head outside our house.

“Don’t worry too much Ezra, we will take care of your daughter while we are in the city so don’t worry too much okay?” Aunt Ann told my mom while we are walking towards their car.

“Of course I know you will take good care of my daughter and that is such an assurance for us.” My mom said while smiling at Aunt Ann.

“Mom, we will just stay there for 2 days and 1 night! Don’t act like I will be living there for a whole decade!” I said which made Aunt Ann giggle.

“Silly! I know that you will just stay there for a short time but I can’t help but to get worried about you because after years of living with us you will finally live far away from us.” My mom said.

“Okay, okay enough with the drama, we need to leave. I will immediately send a message to you once we arrived in the city okay?” I said and then kissed her on her cheeks again.

“You must do that! Go ahead.” My mom said and then kissed me on my cheeks first before she opens the car’s door for me.

“Blaze, please look Lei for me okay? I am entrusting her to you, okay?” My mom said to Blaze.

“Of course Aunt Ezra, I will take care of her. Then we will go now.” Blaze said so my mom just nod at him and then Blaze head inside the car beside me. I just waved my hand again to my mom when the car started to move and she just waved back at me.

“Are you ready?” Blaze asked me which made me looked at him.

“Yeah, I am so ready! How about you?” I asked him while smiling from ear to ear to him.

“Of course! I will ace that entrance examination!” He said with full of confidence and knowing Blaze if he said it that way then he truly mean it.

“Good luck to your next step in life Lei and Blaze. I can’t still believe that you are already a college student this coming school year!” Aunt Ann said which made the both of us look at her while smiling.

“Thank you mom, I also can’t believe that we are already college students.” Blaze said while looking at her mother.

“It feels like we just moved yesterday when it fact it’s been 10 years ever since we moved in the Campbell’s neighborhood.” Aunt Ann said which made me smiled because I suddenly remember that day. We were just grooming our garden that day when a woman and a boy approached us and inviting us to have dinner in their house. I also didn’t think that I will be this close to Blaze because honestly the first time I saw him there’s this something within me that hates him already because he is a boy but look at me right now, I am loving him so much.

“I can still remember how I hated this moving out thingy because I already made a lot of friends on our former house but I guess it’s not as bad as I think it would be. Look, I just didn’t made a best friend but also the other half of my life.” Blaze said which made me automatically blushed because of what he just said. I didn’t know that he can said it in front of his parents, this is so embarrassing! I slightly pinched Blaze’s arm to make him stop blabbering some embarrassing stuff but he just flick my hand away. Geez! I will surely scold him for this later. I just stayed quiet on the whole time we were traveling because I am not in my mood to talk and also I am quite mad at Blaze.

“So, we will just head towards the grocery store to buy some stock of food while we are staying here.” Aunt Ann said as we put our luggage inside our hotel room.

“Ahm, Aunt Ann can I go with you?” I asked her which made her looked at me while smiling.

“Why? Is there anything you need to buy? We can just buy it for you, you should stay here and take some rest so you will be prepared for your exam tomorrow.” Aunt Ann said so I just shake my head at her before answering her.

“Ah, I wanted to buy my own food Aunt Ann.” I said which made her frowned but later on smiles at me before speaking.

“There’s no need for you to do that Lei. If there’s anything you wanted you can tell us and we will it buy for you. You can treat us as your own parents Lei.” Aunt Ann said while smiling at me which made me smiled too.

“Thank you Aunt Ann, I just didn’t want to give you any inconvenience anymore,” I said

“What inconvenience are you talking about? You are not giving that to us, so is there anything you wanted to eat or anything you need so we can buy it for you?” Aunt Ann said which made me smiled.

“Nothing Aunt Ann, anything will do. Thank you so much!” I said and then she just nods at me before they head outside our room. The moment they left, I just realized that I was left there all alone with Blaze and since I am mad at him, I didn’t even wanted to talk with him so I immediately stand from my bed and decided to head to the pool while waiting for Aunt Ann to come back.

“Where are you going?” Blaze asked me as I stand up from my bed.

“Outside.” I said without looking at him. I was about to start walking when Blaze speaks once again.

“Where specifically?” He asked me.

“I will just buy some drinks.” I said and then started to walk towards the door. I was about to open the door when Blaze grabbed my arm. I didn’t know that he is already behind me, geez!

“Is there something wrong?” He asked me from my back.

“Nothing, I just feel tired.” I said and then tries to remove his hand on my arm but he hold it tighter.

“You’re mad aren’t you?” He asked me so I just shake my head at him.

“I’m not mad, so now will you please let me go?” I told him and then he slowly remove his hand from my arm so I thought he already let go of me but I was wrong, the moment he removed his hand from my arm he immediately pulled me towards him which causes us to fall to the ground.

“Oh my goodness! Are you okay?” I asked him because I fell on him and his back hits the ground.

“I am fine.” He said while smiling at me.

“What are you smiling at?” I asked him.

“Nothing, I am so sorry Lei if you are mad at me. Please don’t treat me like this.” He said and then pouts at me. I just rolled my eyes at him before trying to stand up but he is hugging me so tight.

“I won’t let you go until you told me what’s wrong.” He said which made me shake my head at him.

“Fine! You know how I hated when you are blabbering some embarrassing stuff about us right?” I told him and he just nods at me so I start to speak again.

“And what you said earlier was so embarrassing! I know you are just showing how sweet you are or how thankful you are because you met me, but can you just keep it to yourself?” I told him.

“But, I cannot help it, Lei! I am so proud that I have you! I am so happy because you are mine!” He said which made me smiled.

“I know, and I am too! I am so happy because you are mine.” I said which made him smiled.

“Then why are you so shy about it?” He asked me.

“I don’t know, maybe I am not used to it?” I said

“Then, we will make you use to it.” He said and then kissed me on my forehead.

“I love you, Lei.” He said

“I love you more Blaze.” I said and then after that we just stayed like that, cuddling each other while laying on the floor.
