While on our way to our school, Blaze and I were just busy reading our lecture notes for our exam later. I can’t still believe that we are already dating! It felt so surreal but the only thing that is clear now is that I am so happy because finally, Blaze is already mine. Geez! That felt so nice to say.

“Lei.” I only came back to reality when I heard Blaze called my name, I immediately looked at him with a smile on my face before asking him what’s the matter.

“Hmm, what is it?” I asked him while smiling at him. Blaze grabbed my hand first and kissed it gently before looking into my eyes. I can feel that my face is blushing as red as tomatoes right now because of that simple yet sweet action of his.

“Nothing, I just want to tell you that I love you.” He said while looking straight into my eyes which made me blushed more. I took a deep breath first before answering him back.

“Hmm, I love you more,” I said and then lay my head on his shoulder while he’s still holding my hand truly tight and gently squeezing it. We just remained like that until we arrived at our school and I thought he will let go of my hand as soon as we head outside the school bus, but I was wrong Blaze is still holding my hand truly tight which made me so happy.

“Oh, by the way, my friend told me that our section will collaborate for our home economics subject later because our teacher is absent.” Blaze said while we are walking towards our classroom.

“Really?! That is so nice, by the way in which room are we going to use?” I asked him which made him looked at me for a moment and look back again on our way.

“Hmm, I don’t know but if I remember correctly whenever there are 2 sections that are going to collaborate they are going to use the meeting room of our province’s office.” Blaze said so I just nod at him.

“Maybe you are right about that because I remember when we are still in grade 8, our section collaborated with another section and we used the grade 8 province’s office,” I said and then after that, we just remained quiet until we arrived at my classroom.

“By the way, wait for me here on our vacant time okay? We will go to the cafeteria together and also don’t head outside your classroom all by yourself.” He said while squeezing both my hands gently.

“Yeah, I will wait for you,” I said while smiling at him.

“Then see you later okay?” He said so I just nod at him before letting go of his hands. I was about to head inside my classroom when Blaze suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him to kiss me on my forehead.

“I love you.” Blaze said after he kissed me on my forehead. I was so surprised at what he has done to me and I wasn’t able to react to it but there is only a thing that is clear to me right now it is that my heart feels like it was chilling on cloud nine and honestly this feels so nice.

“Hey, Lei are you okay?” I only came back to my senses when Blaze called me while waving his hand in front of my face.

“Ah, yeah, yeah I’m okay! I was just so surprised when you suddenly pulled me towards you.” I said and then smiled at him.

“Yeah, it was written on your face. By the way, I got to head to my classroom now okay?” He said so I just nod at him while smiling. Blaze just waved his hand at me before heading inside his classroom so I just waved back at him before heading inside mine. As I head inside my classroom, I was so thankful because my friends are still not here because if they are here already and they witness what just happened earlier they will surely pester me with their questions.

“Lei! Lei! Lei!” I almost jumped off on my feet when I heard Ellis’s voice calling my name or more like shouting my name continuously.

“What is it?” I asked her while I am frowning at her.

“Wait, just give me a minute to breathe.” She said as she gasps for some air so I just let her do her business and after a minute she started to speak again.

“Did you already know about the news?” Ellis said which made me looked at her while frowning.

“Hmm, what news?” I asked her and then looked back at my notebook. I almost drop my notebook after hearing what Ellis told me next but thank goodness I was able to hold it tighter.

“Blaze and Mitchell are already a couple!” Ellis said which made my eyes widen because where on earth did she get that news?!

“Wait, where on earth did you get that news?” I asked her as I put down my notebook on my table.

“From Mitchell itself, she is in the province’s gymnasium and announcing that she is already Blaze’s girlfriend!” She said so I immediately stand up from my seat and was about to head towards the gymnasium to confirm it myself but Ellis grabbed my arm which made me stopped on walking.

“Wait, I know you will immediately head there the moment you heard about this news so I decided to record it before heading here.” She said and then get her phone from her pocket and start to look for the video she is talking about. After she found the video, she immediately handed her phone over to me so immediately pressed the play button. Within that 10 seconds video, all I can hear is that Mitchell announcing some obnoxious thing about her and Blaze being a couple.

“This is not real Ellis, she is just saying some unrealistic s**t!” I said as I handed back Ellis’s phone.

“I know, but since Mitchell is so famous on the whole campus most of the students here will believe her,” Ellis said which made sense, and if ever they see me and Blaze walking around the campus acting like a couple I am sure that they will surely hate me!

“Geez, I need to clear things up,” I said and then blasted off from our classroom and head towards the gymnasium. I know that Mitchell is still there and I must talk to her to stop this unrealistic s**t!

“Lorelei, where are you going? You know the four big girls are there right?” Ellis said while trying to catch up to me.

“I know but I just need to talk to her!” I said and then started to walk faster again. As I reached the gymnasium, it looks like Mitchell is already done telling her obnoxious fantasy because she is about to leave the stage already.

“Mitchell!” I called her name which immediately catches her attention as well as the attention of the four big scary girls with her.

“Oh hi, Lei!” She said while smiling at me ear to ear. Wait, did I heard it right? Did she just called me Lei?!

“I heard that you and Blaze are a couple already, how did it happen?” I asked her trying to hide the madness I am feeling to her right now.

“Ah, yes you heard that right. Blaze and I are already a couple!” She said sounding so happy. Geez! Is she some sort of psycho? She is creeping me out!

“Oh, then congratulations Mitchell! Can I call Blaze right now so I can also congratulate him?” I asked her while smiling at her ear-to-ear.

“Of course, of course! You can call him!” She said so I immediately get my phone from my pocket and dials Blaze’s phone number. While waiting for him to answer my call, I am silently hoping that his class is not yet starting, and thank goodness after a few more rings he finally answered my call.

“Hey beautiful, what makes you call me?” Blaze told me as he answered my call. I was about to smile because of what he just said but I remember that Mitchell is beside me so I immediately restrain myself from doing so.

“Ah, I just want to congratulate my best friend because he is already the loving boyfriend of the most famous girl in our campus! Congratulations Blaze!” I said while smiling even though he cannot see me. The other line stays quiet for like a whole minute, until Blaze speaks again.

“Wait? Do you mean you are already making us official?” He asked me which made me slapped my forehead because I thought he already get what I wanted to tell him.

“No! I am with Mitchell right now and she told me rather the whole school that you are already a couple!” I said.

“What are you saying? Where are you right now?” He asked me

“Ah, I am here in the gymnasium with your girlfriend,” I said and then looked at Mitchell who is currently smiling at me like a psycho.

“Okay, okay I will be there, and please don’t tell me that again huh? You know that I am yours and yours alone.” He said which made me smiled because of what he just said, geez! I didn’t know he knows how to sweet talk.

“Okay, we will wait for you,” I said and then ended the call, after that, I looked at Mitchell once again to ask her how did she and Blaze become a couple.

“Hey, ahm can I ask you how you and Blaze became a couple?” I asked her which made her automatically smiled and she immediately get her phone from her pocket.

“Well, it was all because of you! You gave my number to Blaze last night and he sent a message to me saying that he also likes me!” She said which made me frowned because I didn’t even know what she’s talking about. Mitchell handed over to me her phone so I immediately get it from her and saw the messages she was talking about. I immediately started to read it and the sender of this message was just pretending to be Blaze. After reading the whole conversation I immediately hand it back to her.

“So, what do you think? He is so sweet right?” She asked me while smiling like a little girl. I didn’t know how should I tell her that the one whom she talked with last night was not Blaze because the way she smiles right now and how her eyes sparkle because of the happiness she’s feeling is what’s restraining me to tell her the truth.

“Hey, is there something wrong?” She asked me which made me came back to my senses and looked at her with an awkward smile on my lips.

“Ah, no, no there is nothing wrong. By the way, I need to go back to my classroom now.” I said and then tap her shoulder before leaving the gymnasium. I was about to leave when I saw Blaze walking towards us which made Mitchell jumped off on her feet like a little girl because of how happy she is right now while looking at Blaze.

“Hey, what’s happening?” Blaze asked me as he reached where we are standing.

“Nothing, nothing, let’s go,” I said and then grabbed his arm but he is just standing there while looking at Mitchell.

“Hey, let’s go,” I said while looking at his mad face while looking at Mitchell.

“Babe, what’s wrong?” Mitchell asked Blaze which made me so nervous because she will finally know the truth and I don’t think I am ready to see that.

“Babe? What are you talking about?” Blaze asked Mitchell which surprised Mitchell. She truly has no clue that she just got played with and honestly, this is making me sad.

“No, what are you talking about? You told me that you love me last night right so I told you that I love you too and then we became a couple!” Mitchell said and then head towards Blaze to hug him so tight but Blaze just pushed her away.

“I don’t know what you are saying Mitchell but I don’t like you and what you are saying about we talked last night, I am so sorry but I am with the girl whom I truly love last night and that is not you!” Blaze said which hurts Mitchell a lot because it shows on her face. I wanted to stop Blaze right now but it felt like my body was frozen because I know where this conversation is going.

“But, but you told me you love me last night, and here is the proof!” Mitchell said and then get her phone from her pocket and give it to Blaze to show him the conversation she had with the impostor.

“That is bullshit! I didn’t even have your phone number and also that is not my phone number. You just got played Mitchell and I am so sorry for that.” Blaze said and then grabbed my hand so I thought we are going to leave but what he has done surprised me and Mitchell. Blaze just kissed my hand and then kissed me on my forehead after pulling me towards him.

“This girl beside me is the girl whom I truly love, so I am so sorry if you ever get played, Mitchell.” Blaze said before we started to leave the gymnasium.

“You will pay for this Blaze and also you Lorelei! I will make sure you will experience living in hell!” Mitchell said while we are walking away from her.

“Are you okay?” Blaze asked me when we are far away enough from Mitchell.

“Yes, I just kind of feel sad for Mitchell because someone tricked her and made her believed that you truly like her,” I said and then looked at him.

“I kind of also feel bad for her but I just didn’t like what she did. Announcing some unrealistic s**t to the public.” Blaze said so I squeeze his hand gently to make him calm down.

“But thank you for coming and saving me Blaze. I truly didn’t know what should I do earlier because I kind of feel bad breaking her while seeing her flashing happiness on her face.” I said

“I know that you cannot hurt someone so I immediately head there because I know you will choose to hurt yourself rather hurt others,” Blaze said which made me smiled because he truly knows me well. Earlier, I was thinking to hide the truth from Mitchell and let her live in her fantasy but thank goodness, Blaze came and saved me.

“You truly know me well Blaze,” I said while smiling at him.

“Of course! I am your best friend ever since we were 9 and growing up with you helps me to know you well.” He said. After that, we just continue talking about Mitchell until we arrived at my classroom and thank goodness our teacher is still not there yet.
