The Forest.

1035 Words
I'm in a dark, deep forest, It almost looks like the one by my old house. The house when I was younger. If so then my favorite lake should be up this small path infront of me and to the right. I'll walk slowly for now just to be sure this is the place. as I walk I can feel the smooth path beneath my feet, smell the lightly wet grass. This place has always seemed so magical. So beautiful to me. This is definitely my forest. I'm going to run to my favorite lake. I run as fast as my legs take me. There is the lake lit up by the light of the full moon. It's so beautiful. I walk to the dock that my dad had built and just enjoy the serenity of the place. I completely forget that this is a dream, it's so real, the feel of the wetness on my feet, the smell of the grass the warmth of the air. I can even taste the lake as I breathe in. I decide to just lay on the dock I love how its located almost half way into the lake. When I lay there it just feels like I'm floating weightlessly. I stare up at the moon. It's magnificent. white with hues of blue around it. The stars are twinkling. But, wait what's going on with the moon? A huge white ball of light is coming off the moon, it's descending from the heavens straight to the lake. Startled I get to my feet and back up as fast as I can not turning my back to this light. It lands on the lake but there's no ripples. "WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" I yell It's not working, I'm not waking up. I move backwards slower, now mesmerized by the sight in front of me. The light is moving closer. "Amora, don't be afraid I'm not going to hurt you. Stay calm little Luna." a soft voice says coming from the light, The light slowly transforms in front of me. It went from a ball of light with blue hues to a beautiful young woman. She's gorgeous with white and blue hair. the same light blue as the hues of the light she came from. The crescent crown sparkles on her head just slightly as if it projected it's own light. She's wearing a long silk whites dress and saphirre and diamond shoes. "You know who I am?" she says with her angelic voice ringing in my ears. "The Moon Goddess?" I say as I begin to kneel and bow my head in my realization of her. "Yes, my child. You don't need to bow to me anymore than I do you. Please, stand up and look at me." I stand up and look at the Moon Goddess as she requested. To think I was almost as tall as she was at this moment only about an inch shorter I think. "Have I finally died? Are you going to take me home?" "No, my dearest. You are very much alive. I understand you wish to be dead, but you have a very long life ahead of you. I have spoken with your parents regarding you, Amara. You are one of my most unique children." "me? How so?" "You'll find out, dear, when the time comes. This will not be my only visit in your lifetime. I can promise you that. There are things in your life that are going to make you question anything I tell you tonight." I c**k my head as if to question her statement. "Why would I question anything you tell me? You are all knowing and obviously the Goddess of our people. It would be wrong to question you wouldn't it?" "It is wrong to go against your Goddess, not question her. After all, you make the decisions in your life, not me. I simply offer advice and guidance to the certain few that I am actually able to speak with. Their are very few I can actually communicate with in your realm. I can only do so when the Vail between my world and yours is then or on a full moon like tonight." "So, what do you want with someone like me? I'm only a servant. I'm no one important." "Oh, dear Amara. You will soon find out how important you are, who you really are and why you are the most important child I have right now. The winds of change are coming and you will be given tough decisions to chose from. You will have to decide when I good time to fight is and when to be still. You will have to figure out when to be brave and when to be scared, though I hope you are never scared. Just know this I will be with you when I can. I will do my best to help you restore what ever has been or will be taken from you." "What's being taken from me? The rogues already took my Parents what more can anyone take? I don't understand." "I can't explain everything in detail. I don't have much time left in this realm. The moon is waning. Here, soon you will be taken somewhere different. Don't try to escape. I am sending help. You will pushed to a breaking point. I know you have already been through so much. Just hold on a little longer and try to be brave. Know your parents love you, and I am in your corner." "Wait before you go, do you know why Juniper, my wolf, won't come out? I really miss her. Please, is there any way you can help her? I'm willing to do anything I can to help her." "You'll get your answer soon enough, my child." Just like that she evaporated back into the ball of light and ascended back to the moon faster than she had descended before. I felt my self fall to the dock and stared at the wall pondering all the information I was just given. I thought about everything repetitively so I don't forget when I wake up. I really hope I remember everything.
